Swollen Years

Note: Hello, Im new to AFF, so this is my first IZ story that I completely came up with in my head :). This story does contain ZADR, Lemony-goodness in later chapters, so if you whine about that, then you're just immature. I'm warning you for your own good.
I will try my best to keep the characters as In-Character as possible.

This takes place... hm.. 10 years in the future from the cartoon. So Dib will be 22 years old, ( since IMO, Dib is 12 in the cartoon. )I will not have Dib being 12 in this late-lemon story.
Please excuse my typos. I try my best to catch, and fix them.

~*Chapter 1*~

She didn't know how it happened so suddenly. She was taken by surprise, and couldn't do anything. If she just got what she needed and evacuated the run-down base, she might have had a chance to get out."Damn... that's JUST what I needed." Her body ached, and her mind was swimming around one major thought,"I've failed."~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It feels like it's been hours since I've been hiding behind these Earth bushes. It's been so long, I almost forgot how Earth plants smelled like. I wished it were Spring, so I can see blossoms on the trees, and inhale sweet air. But now, I don't know what season it is, or what month. I stalked down every house on the street, waiting for their lights to finally dim, insureing that everyone's asleep. When the last house's lights have finally been turned off, I realize this is my chance. RUN! I finally spring up, and run as fast as I possibly can to the run-down Irken base. I felt good to finally stand- my legs have been begging for mercy for the past hours of me kneeling. I decide to ignore my stinging legs as I approach my destination- Zim's old run down base. My Tallest, Zim really DID leave Earth. The ugly place looks as if no one has been in it for years.
I have to waste no time, I might get caught. I quickly ran into the front yard and begin to tug on the doorknob. Damn, Zim must've locked it up. As I attempt to tug one last time, I find that the door just completely ripped off. I guess that works... As I walk through the inside of the house, I begin to look at everything he left behind. The TV and couch was still there, but everything in the kitchen has been taken out. The only thing left in the kitchen was the mirror that was peacefully hanging on the wall.
I wipe my hands across the mirror's surface, trying to remove a great amount of dust out of the way, and I begin to see my reflection. My violet eyes are shining, even in this dark, eerie house. I start to make different expressions of myself, just for fun. My wicked grin stretches across my face as I examine my teeth- white and sharp. I must admit, I'm beautiful, no doubt about it. The only flaws I see in my appearance is the little mole located right under my left eye. Some people say that it makes me look more mature, but I wished I never had this filthy flaw. But compared to the big hunk of metal located on my forhead that sticks out so easily, it isn't so bad. I just want to trottle the bastard who put this peice-of-shit metal on my head. I sigh. He's probobly already dead. Either enslaved to Vortians, or he became a Domist by now.
Forgot the mirror, I have a raid to do. Searching for a way down to Zim's base, I find the garbage can. I really didn't want to go down it, but I have no choice. I hop down, and find myself on an elevator. Yes!- Zim still had his base set up. I encode my destination into the elevator, and finally speak. "Elevator, take me down to the weapon storage area." To my surprise, the elevator actually worked. In a short minute, I was standing at the entrance of the room that had so many dusty, but usable weapons. This is what I came for. Grabbing only a few weapons, I stuff them in my Pak.
What ARE you doing Tak? You know you need more weapons then that! Have you forgotten your on your own? No one is there to watch your back. Get as many weapons as possible! I only sighed at this little message in my brain.
Why should I?, I argue back. I can live awhile off of these. What tells me do get more weapons?
Common Sense.
To just shut the agruementive voice in my head, I begin to stuff more weapons inside my pak. Soon I'll run out of room, but I got what I came here for, guns to protect myself. I must admit, I was looking forward to shooting someone.
I can hear something behind me. Whispers, and some staggering footsteps. No, please dont tell me after all the trouble I went through, that it'll be a failure! Please, oh Tallest don't! "There it is!"
A few humans appeared in front of me, some smiling, some staring me down because I'm a creature they've never seen before. Then more humans appeared dressed in white lab coats. One human- a female with orange hair, smiled at me in a sadist sort of way, she made me want to rip her grin of her face and watch her scream. That'll show the human. No, these humans aren't getting anywhere near me! I came here for a reason,not to not be taken as a prisoner from these dumbfucked dirt-lovers! I reach into my Pak, and take out two guns, one for each hand. Pointing at the group of humans, I barked out at them, "Get your FILTHY hands away from me! I didn't come here to become a test subject for you fuckers!" My hands begin to shake- Im terrified.Im so pathetic, i'm scared of these humans! "I'm not afraid to shoot one of you bastards!"
"..Tak?"
A young, male human stepped out of the group towards me. He didn't have that murder look in his eye like the rest of his group did. He had black hair that dropped out if front of his amber eyes and glasses.His body was muscular, and built tough. He had goatee-like facial hair. Not that it was bad, it made him look a lot better in my opinion.He looked like he was in his 20's. On the top of his head, a scythe flock of hair extended in many curves. That was main give away to his identity. I point the gun at Dib,who changed so much in appearance, wondering why I was holding up a gun at him if I'm not willing to really shoot him. You're pathetic, Tak! You can't shoot a single human?!
I stare at Dib, and he stared at me. He finally sighed and looked at me, with an expression I couldn't read, he was waiting for me to do something. As I stared at the huge group of humans, I begin to finally see how much of an advantage they had over me- I'm outnumbered. It looked as if there was at least 27 humans, staring me down. I have no chance of winning, sure I have Irken technology to fend them off with, but I would still loose. Maybe I can go down with a fight.
Tak, don't be stupid! If you shoot and kill one of them, they have a reason to kill you! Don't you see that! Only shooting them will make things worse for you!
Sighing, I drop the Irken guns at my side. I close my eyes, and sag my head down. "Fine, you ugly-fucks. You win. I have absoutely no chance of winning." I raise my hand in the air. "And as an Irken, I feel the need to surrender fairly, and with honor."
I can't believe it. How did they know I was here, in this underground base? Everything was going perfectly, until the very end when I got what I wanted. I can feel the humans putting hand-cuffs around my wrists, some humans had guns of their own in their hand, afraid I'll attack them. I didn't the point in doing that, I've been captured. "Let's go." I look up to see that orange-haired girl that was smiling at me with murder in her glare. But now, she had a totally different look in her eye- guilt? Pity?..Happiness? I couldn't read her expression and emotions, so I turn my head to look at Dib. He was looking down at the floor, with a painful expression on his face. He said nothing.I didn't understand. Why is that Dib isn't delighted of my capture? His kind finally has proof of aliens. All the taunts and insults thrown at him, would soon be forgotten with apologies. I couldn't understand the human, I never could. Did he feel bad for my capture? Was he expecting me to be someone else?
"Dib?" He didn't look at me. "Fine, stubborn human.."
I sighed again in defeat as the group of humans pulled me out of Zim's base. When we reached outside, I found an enormous group of humans with microphones, and cameras. They began to swarm around us- taking pictures of me, encouraging Dib, and only Dib, to speak into the microphone and answer their questions. When Dib only kept silent, I could've sworn one of the humans shoved a microphone up his mouth. Pathetic. These humans were too hyper, and annoying.It was obvious they were the press, and news reporters.
I looked up at the sky, stars glittering. Maybe the whole Irken Race was cursed to bad luck. It really didn't surprise me now that Irkens were an endangered species. I'm convinced, I'm Irken, this is how I die- bad luck.
The orange-haired female released me by the shoulder, making me feel relieved. I didn't want her touching me. Only seconds later. Dib grabs me by the elbow and begins to drag me roughly. Now I can see emotion in his eyes- hatred. Did he hate me? I can understand why, but surely he can't hate me this much.
He drags me roughly still, farther down the street, where a group of scientists were waiting in their white lab coats,and a white van. I then saw Dib's father, Professor Membrane, who'd seem to not age a bit. It kinda pissed me off. I didn't know why. Dib quickly shoved open the van's back doors, and shoved me forward.
"Son.. I can't believe it.." Professor Membrane finally spat out. "I'm truly proud of you son!"
Dib ignored him, in fact, pretended he was never there in the first place. He violently shoved me into the back of the van, and slamming the doors behind me with much force.
"All clear!"
They're taking me somewhere, probobly a lab to cut me open, see how I tick. I begin to growl and thrash around, screaming and cussing words in Irken. I was so furious.
"Hold on a minute, she's acting up!" Soon the van doors swung open again, and 5 men began to pin me down.
I try to bite at them, I don't want them touching me! "No no NO! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS! I SWEAR IT! THIS WILL BE THE DOWNFALL OF YOUR RACE!"
They begin to tie my feet together, making it harder to move around. "Give me the needle." My screams are muffled from one of the men's hands.
My purple eyes wonder around the room at a quick rate. When I turn my head to the left, I see a man trying to eject a needle inside my arm,it was filled with a blue liquid. I try to squirm away from him, growling, but I'm pinned down. I'm helpless,and I soon lose cousciousness as the blue liquid was released in my blood stream.
They win.
