In the void between galaxies, two balls of light travel faster than the speed of light towards the spiral galaxy that lyes before them. The residence of the spiral galaxy had no idea what destruction the two beings had brought upon their own galaxy and countless others. They enter the spiral galaxy and enter an arm one third the way towards the center. They come to a solar system with one planet that could support life. The two balls of energy, red and blue respectively, enter the atmosphere of the third planet. The energy starts to dissipate to reveal a male with wild fiery red hair and a girl with icy blue hair.
"So, this is Earth. You sure there are defenders here?" the red head asks.
"From what I've heard there are heroes on this world." the one with icy blue hair answers.
"I hope they'll be more of a challenge than the last galaxy's heroes. Destroying a galaxy with weak defenders is tiresome."
"I hope so too." the girl muses.

"I've isolated the strands of DNA that I believe controls that 'hyper soldier'. Hmmm, interesting." Tubing states as MathWiz lies on his back on a table.
"What is it?" WordGirl asks.
"They seemed to have made this as if it were used that it should have killed you." Tubing explains.
"Why didn't my heart explode from that part of me activating then?" MathWiz asks.
"I don't think they thought you'd ever get this far. If X² was correct, you're genetic code was never supposed to get this complex. You were only supposed to learn how to fight Decimalians. Unfortunately for the ones that came up with you, you've been using your powers to fight crime. All those situations you encountered might have saved your life."
"Is there a way to rid myself of that?" MathWiz asks.
"At the moment, no. However, since your genetic code has adapted to everything else, you might be able to overcome this on your own."
"'Heeellllppp!'"
"Uh oh," WordGirl reacts to Jeff's cries for help.
"What is it?" MathWiz asks.
"Jeff is yelling for help, but it seems to be some sort of general call for...,whoa!" WordGirl says holding her hands over her ears.
"What is it?" MathWiz asks.
"That was a massive wreck." WordGirl states and pulls out the phone and presses a button. "Caelum?"
"We're already head...," Caelum states but the connection is cut.
"Caelum!?" WordGirl shouts.
"I'm done, you two go on ahead and find out what the heck is going on out there." Tubing instructs.
"Team Alphanumeric!" the two shout and fly out of the lab.
"Hmmm, I ought to put in a skylight." Tubing muses.

"Is that all this planet has to offer us?" the red head asks squeezing the life out of X².
"Who...,are...,you?" Caelum gasps out.
"We were once like you, until the planet we were on decided to turn against us and try to kill us. Now, we destroy planets instead of saving them." the one with icy blue hair states as she wrenches Emma's arm."
"Let them go." WordGirl commands after landing.
"Well, looks like we've got a foursome." the red head states throwing Caelum aside and throws a fire ball at MathWiz who dodges quickly. Emma is tossed aside and a blase of ice heads for WordGirl who dodges as well.
"So, the 'A team' showed up." the red headed male states. "I guess I'll have to turn up the heat." he growls and surrounds himself in fire.
"How in the world am I going to even get close to him?' MathWiz thinks.
"Cold?" the icy blue haired girl asks. WordGirl shivers a little as the cold bites into the costume she was wearing. She switches to the black costume, but it didn't give her anymore protection.
"What's wrong? Can't stand the heat?" the red head asks. The two heroes get back to back.
"I've only got one idea. Follow my lead." WordGirl states and MathWiz nods his head. "Hey refrigerator, I've been in meat lockers colder than you."
"Hey flame head!" MathWiz calls out now getting the idea. "The surface of the sun is hotter than you are."
"Oh yeah!" they both shout and fire off two very powerful attacks. The two duck and the elemental attacks sail past their heads and the two cry out in pain is their own opposite attacks hit them. Seeing an opening, MathWiz and Caelum attack the male and WordGirl and Emma start to try and subdue the girl. the two elemental users blast their four opponents away ant take to the skies.

"Anyone care to guess where they came from?" Caelum asks.
"They didn't look like Decimalians or Lexiconians." Tim says.
"They didn't look like any of the races known to us in this galaxy." Emma adds.
"Then, they might have come from beyond our galaxy." Tobey supplies.
"Then, why are the two of them here? Why Earth?" Becky asks.
"They said that they had been heroes on their home world...,maybe they seek out planets with heroes on them and destroy them." Tim theorized.
'Are they the possible future I was facing if I had continued down my path?' Tobey ponders.
"How the hell do we face two beings that can freeze and burn you at the same time?" Caelum asks frustrated with the situation.
"We'll need to catch one of them alone. Fighting the both of them is impossible." Tim states.
"Ok, if anyone encounters them, don't engage them yourself. Call the rest of us in so that we might have a better chance. Tubing, were you listening?" WordGirl asks over the phone.
"Every word. The better question is how did they get here with using any sort of spaceship." Tubing says. Tim bites his lip. Maybe these two were close to those ancient Greek gods. If that was so, then how did one go about defeating a god?

"Well, looks like brute strength won't be able to defeat them." the girl with the icy blue hair states.
"You've gotten stronger." the red head compliments putting his hand on her cheek. "Should we just destroy the planet's atmosphere and be done with it?"
"No, they are the best challenge we've had in quite a while. We'll beat them." the girl says smirking and puts her arms around him. "We just have to make sure our attacks don't hit each other again."
