Chapter 9
It was another bright and beautiful afternoon in Townsville as Fear strolled down the highway on the East side of town. Of course he'd attracted a large crowd of onlookers, but then that was expected if your a large man with a glowing left eye, wearing clothes that made you look as though you just stepped out of the Matrix movies. Fear felt no hatred for any of these humans, but that wouldn't stop what was about to take place.
By now traffic had become backed up due to his blocking the street. Drivers uttered curses as they attempted to pass him. None of them knowing that their deaths were imminent.
Finally, Fear came to a stop, heaving a deep sigh. Him's orders hadn't been exactly precise. He was to kill and destroy, but Him said nothing about torture. Yes, a quick mercy killing was the best choice. "AHHHHHHHH!!!" He raised his hands high over his head, unleashing a dome of crimson energy that completely enveloped his body. By the time the surrounding people realized what was taking place it was already too late. "HAAAA!!!!" The energy dome's size double....then tripled...quadrupled even, vaporizing the terrified people before their human brains could even process pain. Indeed a mercy killing. Once the light faded an entire two city blocks had been completely obliterated, reduced to a large smoldering crater. He hoped that his targets would come soon, he didn't wish to harm any more people.

Ms. Keene heaved a deep sigh of relief as she finished marking the last test. It may have been six years but she still found joy in educating the children of Townsville. Keene looked up from the stack of paper, furrowing her brow in confusion. "That's odd," she muttered. She couldn't hear the children....which was strange seeing how it was recess and that usually meant kids shouting and laughing. The strange feeling in her gut quickly becoming dread, Ms. Keene rushed to the window. Her eyes went wide as her face paled.
Ms. Keene had moved so fast that it all seemed like a blur to her. One moment she was staring out the window and the next she found herself standing outside the playground.
The children...they were all lying motionlessly with skin as sickening pale as Keene's had been when she first glanced outside. They just laid there with their eyes glazed over and mouths gaped open, like dead fish.
"Dear...God..." Ms. Keene rushed to the nearest child, a small boy with light-brown hair. "Jason!" She shook the boy gently yet there was no response....only that empty stare. Soft, lilting laughter took Ms. Keene completely by surprise, causing her to nearly drop the boy she was holding.
Standing before her was a beautiful woman with smooth skin colored like maple, long black braided hair, and gold eyes. The woman smiled, revealing perfectly line white teeth. "Hel-"
"Who are you!? What have you done!?" Keene interrupted as her gaze fell on the five year old girl that the mystery woman had tucked under her arm. She recognized the little girl as Katie Bates; a quiet little brunette with green eyes. Katie had only attended Pokey Oats Kindergarten for about a week. "Tell me now!!"
The woman snorted. "My...how rude...though that's to be expected from a human. You can relax. Your children are merely in a trance." Bat-like wings sprouted from her back, eliciting a startled gasp from Ms. Keene. "Seems I have what I came for so I'll be leaving now." The strange tattoos on her body pulsed with gold light that seemed to snap the children out of their comatose state.
"Katie!" Ms. Keene could only watch as the woman made off with one of her students. She'd had to contact the Rowdyruffs....surely they could figure out what this was about.

A woman coward away from Fear as he towered over her, crawling until she found herself backed up against a car. Fear's gaze was sympathetic. "I am sorry....I have no choice," he muttered, raising his hand as he prepared to crush the woman with one swift blow. That was until he was struck from behind by a streak of green and sent crashing into a nearby building. The woman took as her chance to flee, screaming in terror.
"Your welcome!" Butch shouted after her as he was joined by his brothers.
Fear emerged from the new door he'd made in the side of the building. "You've arrived." Fear's left eye pulsated with crimson energy. He smiled grimly as he fired his eye-beam.

Marysue Lumpkins had never bothered to wonder if the her father's actions were wrong. To her his need to touch her was just another part their morning routine....and night....and many times after lunch. She loved her father very much and had grown to accept his deeds.
Even come to enjoy them.
Marysue mewled, gripping the edge of the kitchen table so hard that the wood cracked. Each of Fuzzy's quick and powerful thrusts bringing her closer to pure bliss. Marysue bit down on her quivering lip, enjoying the feel of Fuzzy's large hands gripping her hips. "Ohhh...oh Gawd...." Marysue moaned, arching her back as her father's actions grew more fierce. She loved it when he played rough. She screamed as she reached her climax, managing to look behind her despite her trembling.
Fuzzy shuddered once as his seed was released into Marysue. For a few moments they remained like that, perfectly still, their labored breathing the only sound filling the cabin.
Finally, Fuzzy rose, allowing his daughter to collect herself. "Hoowee...girl...yer sumthin else!" He exclaimed.
Marysue smiled angelically as she pulled up her shorts and adjusted her top.
"Why doncha git started wit lunch while I fetch us up sum beverages."
Marysue ran her fingers through her wild hair. "Sure thang, Paw!"
Fuzzy himself never believed what he and his daughter did was wrong. His mother and father had been the same with him and his siblings...his grandparents the same with his own parents. It was just what they did....the secret to their incredible strength, staying within the family. Fuzzy noticed them the instant he stepped outside. Humans, on HIS property! In one swift movement he'd retrieved his shotgun, leapt from his porch, and had his weapon trained on the older male human.
"Oh dear," the large male replied.
The younger male with blue eyes gripped the base of his cane and unsheathed a wicked looking sword. "Get away from him you beast!"
"Easy, John!" Eric held up a hand, gesturing for John to put his weapon down. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves." Eric knew he was in a tough spot; force would only result in him getting his head blown off. He'd have to hope he could reason with the pink menace.

Some few miles away from Fuzzy's...erm....property, far below the Earth's surface, Him laughed. With his minions unleashing pandemonium he had been able to reach his destination. He found himself in a large chamber, facing a twenty foot tall wall of solid granite. Decorating the wall were sapphires and emeralds as well as indecipherable language chiseled into the rock. Him knew better than to touch the wall, figuring the humans had placed some magic seal upon it.
"So can we do this already?" Lenny whined. "I'm kinda eager to destroy Townsville and inflict suffering on my enemies."
*Patience!* Him reprimanded. *Firsssst we'll have to break THIS seal. Let us set to WORK!!*
And so they began the process of releasing X'cali'an and Tai'maath.
