I have an announcement to make." Sally Botsford begins as the combined Botsford/Drakesford families sit at the kitchen table. "As we all know, Mr. Big is running for mayor again. This time, though, no incumbent is running against him. In fact, there isn't a candidate running against him...,until now. Kids, I'm running for mayor." Shock and awe cross the gathered teens. Sally's husband beams at her with pride while Clair smirks.
"Ok, but what does that have to do with us? Me and Emma were going to sneak attack my mother and finish her off once and for all." X² states.
"Well, I doubt the two of you would want to go into that hornets nest," Tim begins, "the ring will just gang up on you."
"Actually, you two along with Team Alphanumeric should give enough protection to this candidate don't you think?" Sally says smirking.
"Awe crap...,do I have to wear one of those monkey suits?" X² asks. Huggy makes an indignant noise.
"I don't think he was insulting you, Huggy." Becky placates.
"Decimalian dress uniform should be enough for the announcement." Sally replies.

"You've got to be kidding me." Mr. Big says exasperatedly. "The district attorney is running against me?"
"It appears so sir." Leslie answers. "Looks like she's got her own protection as well. You won't be able to force her out of the race like you did the others, sir."
"I know that." Mr. Big retorts. He rubs his chin in thought. "I'll just out spend her."

"It's bad enough that I have to play body for your human mother, but to go through the humiliation of having to go to an Earth school...,it's just too much for a super soldier." X² says as the quartet make their way towards the high school.
"Caelum," Emma states, "We must fit in if we are to insure Becky's mother's victory and the destruction of your mother and Krog."
"I don't think there's a weapon in the known universe that can effect him." Tim comments. Becky gasps and the three turn to see that a silver haired girl had just dropped Tobey off in front of the school. Tim was the most shocked realizing who that was.
"Who's the freaky female?" Caelum asks.
"That's Phantasma in her natural form." Tim answers.
"Correct." Tobey says smirking. "Hello, Tim, Becky, or should I say...,Team Alphanumeric!? And the two of you must be Team Weapon X."
"Phantasma is holy uncomfortable in her natural form. How in the hell did you get her to become so comfortable in her own skin?" Tim asks.
"Well, if Becky hadn't turned me down then should know the answer to that question."
"I can't believe you know...,what are you going to do?" Becky asks.
"Like anyone will believe me. Just remember, I now know who you are and I now know just where I can use my robots to do the most emotion damage." Tobey and walks away laughing.
"If that isn't the oddest couple ever then I don't know what is." Tim states.
"A couple of what is the question." Becky adds.
"A couple of annoyances is what they are. They would stand no chance against all four of us." Emma states.
"This is the last time I do you a favor." Caelum states. "This playing the overly good guy who fights crime isn't me."
"Oh c'mon, you know you're staying because of Carina, uncle Caelum." Tim taunts.
"Just for that I'll make damn sure I don't go easy on you during our training session."
"I expect nothing less." Tim replies.

"Who are those two?" Violet asks Becky as the two sit in homeroom."
"That's Caelum," Becky says looking at X². "He's actually X²," she whispers in her friend's ear.
"Ooooh," Violet replies.
"While he's going to school with us, he's Tim's cousin."
"And the girl?"
"That's Emma. She's a Botsford while she's here. She's actually X³."
"Wow, the city's election has attracted the most powerful people in the universe."
"I wouldn't say universe, but the galaxy would be less of a stretch."
"Oh no," Violet says taking on a scandalized tone, "what's she doing in our homeroom?"
"You've got to be kidding me...," Becky says and motions for Tim to come over.
"What?" Tim asks.
"See that girl eyeing Caelum?"
"Yeah," Tim says not knowing where this was going.
"That's Eileen...,aka the 'Birthday Girl. Anytime she gets greedy she turns as green as the Incredible Hulk and can become as tall as a house."
"Fuck...,Tobey and her in the same homeroom...,luck isn't on our side at the moment." Tim says rubbing his forehead.
"Right about now I'd rather be trying to get off of Lexicon." Becky complains.
"Why do you think she's eyeing Caelum?" Tim asks.
"Probably discovered guys since the last time I fought her. Great, she'll anger Emma and the two will fight over Caelum."
"That'll cause more destruction than our fight did." Tim states.
"You got that right. We better make sure they don't come to blows before all this election stuff can be settled.

'Oh, he'll be all mine.' Eileen thinks looking over at Caelum with hungry eyes.

'I'm in a homeroom with freaks! Maybe I should've stayed at that boarding school after all.' Tobey ponders. 'Nah, there's too much fun in destroying stuff to be had.'
