She needed to get out of the virtual reality hell she was in. She was about to get out of the but to the shock of Ted and the other boys, the scene changed. to a dark, stormy graveyard. The sky was a a deep, dark purple with lightning flashing. Lightning struck a nearby grave and a figure, decked out in black arose from the grave.
"Game on," the figure said, it's voice hidden like the rest of the unknown's features. To the three popular boys' surprise, they found their game quickly come to an end as their virtual reality selves were killed by blades made from energy.
'Ok, what the hell is going on around here?' Daria pondered.
"What are you?" Ted asked trying to figure out what the being before him was.
"You think you are strong enough to protect her? Then, let's just see how strong you really are," the figured challenged.
'That isn't a computer controlled character, but who is it?' she wondered. 'Ted doesn't stand a chance.'
Daria was right about her assessment of the situation. While Ted held his own, he didn't have the energy attacks or the speed that the one in black had and Ted's game quickly ended when his virtual self died.
"Remember, he can't keep you or your heart safe." the figure quietly commented and went back into the grave and lightning struck the grave just as before.
'Ok, that's it, I'm never getting into another virtual reality machine in Lawndale again.' she vowed.

'Wimp,' Trent thought watching as the one that had been with Daria quickly left, scared to death from what he had experienced. 'And unworthy of her,' he added. 'That was fun, hadn't done that in a long time,' he mused and left before anyone noticed him.

Yeah, short and it probably sucked, but if you read the review of this episode on Outpost-Daria then you'd understand.
