"Mom! Becky and Tim used all the hot water!" TJ complains.
"Well if you wouldn't sleep in then you'd have hot water." Becky retorts poring up the formula.
"Ok, that's enough. You've got the entire summer to be on each other's nerves." Mrs. Botsford states. "Tim, honey, I think I've been able to convince your mother that it would be a good idea for you to come with us on whatever trip we decide to take."
"I appreciate that." Tim says fixing his and Becky's breakfasts.
"Ok, emergency stop for fuel." Becky states and Mr. Botsford gives Carina back to her mother. "Now you don't fly around the house today."
"Mama!" Carina complains.
"Was I this bad as an infant Huggy?" Becky asks. Huggy shakes his head in the negative.

"Hey Scoops." Becky greets.
"How does it feel to be covering your first graduation?" Violet asks.

As the principal makes his morning announcements over the intercom, the students of room 144 weren't paying much attention. They were either engaged in conversation, or were throwing paper airplanes or spit balls. Tim smiles to himself realizing that this would be their first summer together.
"Uh, Tim?"
"Yeah Scoops,"
"Look, errr, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have started that fight. I was upset and I thought I really had a chance to get with Becky, but she was right. I didn't notice her when we were ten. I regret that. As a reporter I'm to be observant of my surroundings at all times, but I wasn't. You then came along and she and you quickly built up a friendship that led into what the two of you have now. So, I apologize for trying to get in the way."
"Thanks Scoops." Tim replies accepting the other boy's apology with a smile. Then the bell rings and the students file out.
