MaxJ1800: Hmmm, I guess I messed up on the first word thing a little. That's why they were doing their battle cry quietly, at least I hoped I wrote that they did it quietly. Hmmm, yes, that is funny, very funny, in fact...,oh just read on. No need to spoil it here.

Saturdays in the Botsford residence meant only one thing, laundry day. That and Mr. Botsford had that 'honey do' list. With both parents occupied, Sally Botsford, in an attempt to change TJ's attitude, had put him in charge of Carina while Carina's parents were out having a bit of fun. Sally carries the load of laundry to the washroom. Then something dive bombs her making her drop the clothes. Sally recovers and then hears giggling from above.
"Where's that laughter...,Carina!" Sally shouts seeing her granddaughter flying. "TJ!"
"What?!" he shouts and decides to see what his mom was fussing about and then sees Carina just in time to get out of her way as she dive bombs him.
"We've got to catch her! Make sure that all the windows are shut!" Sally orders TJ who doesn't complain for once and follows his mother's instructions.

"Aren't you nervous? this is your first time you've ever spoken to the board." Leslie comments as they ride the elevator up to the top floor of the main headquarters of Big Mama's empire.
"I'm not nervous. It's just a bunch of whipped dogs I'm talking to. After today though, they'll be my whipped dogs...,maahhhahahaha." Mr. Big gloats.
"Are you sure...,"
"Absolutely. They will have to fire my mother with all I've collected and once then I'll shall be named head of this entire empire."
"Then what?"
"Then Leslie, I will get my ring back and run that city with an iron fist."

Two teens speed skate down the sidewalk of the park. The boy follows the girl as she hops onto a railing and grinds her way down it. the monkey on her back shouts indignantly as she jumps off and continues down the sidewalk. Tim's super hearing picks up the sounds of at least half a dozen or so skaters coming from behind them.
"I think we've got company." Tim says. Becky turns her head slightly to see a group of older teenagers coming up from behind. In less than a minute the pair were surrounded on all sides by a group of shady looking teens. Some had their hair dyed odd colors, others had visible piercings.
"Is there a problem?" Becky asks not intimidated by the group of new comers at all.
"Yeah, little kids who think they can skate showing off baby tricks." the apparent leader, a guy with neon green hair, says gruffly.
"Is that a challenge?" Becky asks evenly.
"Haha, you two couldn't handle the Devil's Playground." the one with the green hair says amused.
"I've heard of that place. City's been trying to tear that place down for years now." Becky retorts.
"Yeah, well, they aren't going to take away our corner of the city without a fight."
"Alright, the two of us will go up against your best pair. We'll play in the Devil's Playground."
"Hehehe, I'll say this kid, you've got guts, or you're just plain stupid. Follow us." the leader says and the group of teenagers skate out of the park and head for the industrial district of the city.

"She's...,fast...," TJ gasps out.
"Carina! Get back down here this instant!" Sally Botsford orders. Carina obliges by dive bombing her again.
"Honey, I'm done with...,sweet honey melons! Carina's flying!" Tim Botsford exclaims.
"Don't just stand there...,help us catch her!" Sally shouts chasing after the flying baby.
***
"That went...,perfectly." Mr. Big says almost purring like a fat cat who'd just had a large meal of fish.
"You really gave them a blow to their collective egos, sir." Leslie says.
"I can't wait until four o'clock Monday afternoon...Mama's in for a rude awakening. Now, let's get the heck out of this city. I can't stand Trump or his ego."
"Sir?"
"That man is so arrogant...,just because he went bankrupt an then came back from it doesn't mean he's the best CEO on the planet. I hate this city."
***
"Whoa," Becky says in awe, "they don't call it 'The Devil's Playground' for nothing." the place was a skater's paradise. Pipes, halfpipes, quarterpipes, handrails, vert ramps, banked ramps, a pyramid, a fun box, and even a superpipe. "Well no wonder, the city wouldn't want to help clean a superpipe."
"You seem to know the language." the green haired on comments.
"I've been called a human dictionary. There isn't a term in the English language I don't know."
"Let's see if you're as good with skating as you are with words then."
***
"Finally," Sally Botsford says after they had caught a sleepy Carina, "she wore herself out."
"Mom, uh, I...,I'm sorry. My sister being WordGirl wasn't something I wanted to know." TJ says looking down at the sleeping Carina.
"It's not a situation covered in the parenting books. Believe me, I know. I've read all of them from cover to cover. You'll find someone."
"Yeah," TJ agrees.
***
"I've got to admit, they picked the best pair." Tim comments.
"show offs, that's all they are. C'mon, let's do a little showing off as well."
***
"I don't know who's crazier, the girl for coming up with this tandem trick, or the boy for being willing to do a tandem unity grind." one of the two who had preformed before Becky and Tim states. His hair was dyed purple.
"No kiddin', he has to completely trust that the girl won't let him falloff the rail prematurely. Grinding backwards is one thing, but to do a unity grind backwards is pretty damn cool." the second, who's hair was a bright orange says.
"They aren't a normal pair...,it's almost as if they can read each other's minds." the one with the green hair quietly comments as the Becky and Tim preform several more difficult tricks.
***
"Well that was fun, and looks like we've a place to really skate." Tim comments.
"Yeah...," Becky answers, but Tim sees the look and knew someone was causing trouble. "Who is it this time?"
"Energy monster."
"Energy monster?"
"Oh, that's right, we've not faced him since we've become Team Alphanumeric. C'mon, I'll explain on the way."
***
"We're home!" Becky calls out.
"Becky! Help!" TJ shouts. Becky comes running towards TJ's room to see...,
"Carina! Get down here!" Becky orders. Carina dive bombs her mother only to be caught.
"Thank...,you...," TJ pants out. "She's been flying all over the house all day."
"Oh boy." the pair say in unison. Their child was becoming more and more of a hand full as the days went by.
