'It ought to be intriguing to see how such a bright mind like Daria's reacts when under hypnosis." Dr. Millepieds thought while trying to put Daria under hypnosis. At first, to the doctor's surprise, it appeared that her mental strength was so great that she couldn't be put under hypnosis, but he then saw the signs that she had been put under.

"Mrow, what the hell?"

"Who are you?" Dr. Millepieds asked confused.

"You did this? You put her under hypnosis and brought me to the surface? Are you an idiot or...wait, I'm in her body!"

"Are you her inner rage?"

"Inner rage...mrowhehehe," the voice laughed.

"You are some sort of a cat."

"Well no duh Sherlock. Care to tell me what color the sky is while you're at it?"

"I see you've got Daria's sense of humor."

"Of course I do. We're the same, I'm just supposed to be dormant for a while longer until some idiot therapist decided to put my human self to sleep that is." she hissed.

"Why are you a cat?"

"Because that's the curse you silly man.I'm a werecat."

"A...werecat...?" he asked getting nervous.

"Yes, but since I'm in her body there's no way I can hurt you."

"How come you get the doctor with the accent." Quinn barged in with no warning.

"Get out of here beta female." Daria snarled.

"Whoa, what did you do to her?" Quinn asked.

"I put her under hypnosis and this persona came to the surface." Dr. Millepieds explained.

"Shallow beta female, prances around showing her goods off to every male at that school but all they get for dating you is their bank account drained." Daria replied.

"Ok, back you go." Dr. Millepieds said and snapped his fingers.

"Uh...what...what the hell..." Daria, now back to normal, asked confused.

"You have a very interesting subconscious." Dr. Millepieds said.

"I don't prance around!" Quinn shouted and left.

"I told her she pranced around?" Daria asked.

"You said that she pranced around showing her assets to the guys at your school." Dr. Millepieds explained.

"Well, that is the truth, it's not my fault she can't accept it." Daria countered.

'Mrow, I'm still ere.'

'Ok, what the heck are you?' Daria asked.

'When you get back on the computer, look up 'werecat'. That will give you a base to start with.'

'Werecat?'

'You were so concerned about the things that lurked in the Morgendorffer genes that you failed to thing about the Barksdale side of your parentage.'

'Great, now I am going crazy.'

'We ought to kill the beta female.'

'You've been silent for over two weeks and now you decide to speak?' Daria replied.

'She stole a boot lace, you're meeting Jane to go to some sort of warehouse store to get a new one, but you know damn well that it'll give your foot a blister and your back will be aggravated further.'

'Don't remind me.'

"Gummy bear?" Jane offered and Daria made a disgusted noise. "Should something this stupid would have happened."

"Yes you should have. Jane, sometimes I think subconsciously you create conflicts between you and Tom just because you are a sadist."

"And why would you say that?"

"Because, you ought to know damn well not to leave food lying around You created that situation knowing that Tom was going to be around." Daria explained.

"Ok ok ok, never leave food out when Tom's around. What's gotten you all Jake Morgendorfferred up?"

"Need...pain killers..." she let out.

"Back killing you again?"

"Yes." she hissed.

'Told you.'

'Shut up.' Daria spat out at her werecat.

'Mrow, hear that?'

'What?' she asked and then the sound of Tom and Trent arguing with Jessie laughing could be heard. "Uh Jane?"

"Uh oh, Tom road with Trent and Jessie and tried looking for me with them knowing full well that Trent can't function without 18 hours of sleep." Jane sighed. "C'mon, let's see if we cant stop them from killing each other in the dark." she finished with a smirk.

"Hey, if you had the foresight to check on what headlight you'd need then we wouldn't have taken so long. You're nothing but a lazy bum who isn't motivated to do anything that would better himself. Daria's crush on you must have been a sympathy crush because there isn't one redeeming quality that should even remotely interest her." tom spat. Jane bit her lip. Tom just aired out laundry that might not needed to have been aired out.

"Ok, you, let's talk," Jane said and drugged her boyfriend off to have a chat.

'Damn, he's right. Hell, why does she even bother coming to our gigs? Surely she's got better things to do than that..' he thought and quietly sighed. He had seen a emergency door at the far side of the store. He'd make his way there and head for his car. He didn't feel like dealing with anyone at the moment.

'He's leaving. Tom just ripped him a new one and told him about your crush on him. You gonna do something about that?' the werecat taunted. Daria sighed. Her amicable relationship with Tom had just changed back to annoyance.

Trent gave a sad smile to the sight of his car. He knew Jessie might get pissed for leaving him here, but right now he was in a black place at the moment. Tom had told the truth and Trent knew it. He'd blown that fucking assignment from O'Neil. He opened the driver's side door and was about to get in when he saw a figure running over to him.

"Daria?" Trent asked.

"We...need...to talk...damn...how the hell...does Jane do this?" she panted out after coming to a stop at the opened door.

"I don't think..."

"He crossed a line he shouldn't have. I don't know how he found out...guess Jane told him...,but it wasn't no damn 'sympathy crush' It was real, much to my displeasure since I felt like I was starting to act like Quinn."

"Thanks, but I still fucked up that project. You counted on me and I messed up. Then we had that conversation afterwards that felt like we were breaking up when we didn't even go out in that first place."

"I will agree on that point. Damn it, it was Jane's idea to ask you for the music. I wouldn't have asked you to do that. Hell, looking back on the whole mess I don't think anyone could have come up with proper music for that thing. The script wasn't up to my standards and was wrote while Jane was spending more time with Tom than focusing on her grade like she should have been. So, let's agree to forget about that damn project and that damn talk afterwards." she said. Tom's ability to point out when someone was acting stupid in his eyes had gone after Trent and she hadn't liked it. She also didn't like the fact that Tom thought her crush on Trent was out of pity?

"Really?"

"Yes. Having to look back on it I should have told you about the script first then had you try to come up with the music. Clean slate?"

"Yeah, clean slate." Trent said and hugged her. 'Not this time, I'm not going to fuck this up.' he thought while holding the auburn possessively in his arms.

Anyone tired of the whole werecat thing yet? I know it's more weird than spirits of holidays and singing during hurricanes...what were they thinking!?

Also I'm, for some damn reason, wanting to stick DeMartino with Defoe...yes, no reason just like the whole Stacy Ted thing I've come up with for some damn reason. I've been toying with creating a male counterpart of Quinn to stick with her, but I'm not too sure about that, but it would annoy Tom more since he'd be going to Fielding. I'll stop rambling here and let you guys review and let me know what you think.
