Yeah I know, I'm doing this again. A reviewer asked what if Trent had been able to come through, so here is my answer.

The auburn sighed as she looked over the script for their multi-media project. Writing for the project seemed to be the only thing that would distract her from Jane's budding relationship with Tom.
'Am I that possessive of Jane? She's starts liking a guy and I get as jealous as some jilted lover.' Daria bit her lip on that thought. Having Sandi quietly spreading a rumor that Jane and her were lesbians was one thing, but to actually be attracted to Jane was a whole other thing. He thoughts stopped hearing a knock at her door.
"Enter at your own risk." she called out and the possible killer of all those lesbian rumors walked into the room.
"Hey Daria, thought I better drop by since we got interrupted Saturday." Trent said after closing the door.
"You didn't have to come over, you could have called." Daria said hoping like hell her parents or Quinn hadn't been the one to let him in.
"I couldn't get through." Trent said.
Daria sighed, "Quinn."
"Your sister is a phone hog. Now, are you looking for something to set some sort of mood?" Trent asked and Daria became thoughtful. The music had to match what she was writing and if it didn't, it would just make the scene seem awkward.
"I didn't think about that." she admitted. "Jane's new interest in Tom..."
"Janie's your first friend, isn't she?" Trent asked. Daria hesitates in answering Trent's question.
"Comparatively speaking, Highland is more brain dead than Lawndale, but not by much. I'm so used to spending all my free time with Jane that when she starts spending it with someone else I become a jealous ball of anger." she said and Trent sat beside her.
"You've got to get used to Jane's flighty attitude. A boy that she likes can easily distract her. I know, I've seen it happen over and over again." Trent explained. The two moved from the topic of Jane to the topic of the project with Trent reading over the final script that Daria wrote. By the time Trent left, he had informed her that he might have something before the end of the week.
"That's fine, we've got two weeks to work on this thing, but with Jane spending time with Tom I question whether or not we can make a good enough grade to keep Jane from failing. Trent, my parents didn't..."
"No, I came in with no one noticing." Trent answered with a grin.

"That music..." Jane began after their presentation, "that was Trent's wasn't it?"
"Yes." Daria answered.
"No wonder you weren't worried."
"It was easy to keep it from you because you were spending time with Tom."
"How did you get him to produce something on time?"
"He actually came over the night I'd finished the script. I didn't realize until he asked whether we were wanting something that was going to fit the mood of the scene we were doing."
"Well, this is a pleasant surprise."

Daria sighed to herself. twenty dollars to go and get toilet paper...it sounded easy, but then something struck her...
"Uh dad, there's that homecoming parade..."
"Make it fifty!" Jake shouted.
"I'm on it." Daria replied. She sighed. Going to brave that mob alone wasn't something she really wanted to do alone. She went over to the downstairs phone and dialed a number.
"Hello,"
"Trent?"
"Oh, Hey Daria," he greeted and Daria felt her toes curl in her boots. After the project, She and Trent had decided if Jane was going to invite Daria along with her and Tom on their dates, Daria would bring along Trent. It started out as more as a way to annoy Jane, but Daria found herself enjoying spending the extra time with him.
"Listen, for some unknown reason I've been assigned to go purchase some more bathroom paper. I don't want to brave that sea of humanity that has gathered for the Lawndale High homecoming parade." Daria began.
"I'll come get you. I need to get out of the house anyway." Trent replied and the two hung up.

It had been a trying task. The pair had gotten Jake's needed bathroom supplies, but that had turned out to be the easy part. Having to get passed Ms. Li who didn't want Daria to leave had been the first obstacle. The next one had been more trying as Daria ran into Tad. The boy had been separated from his parents and Daria couldn't leave him in such a spot. The trio would then encounter Mr. O'Neill in a lion suit. Then, she had been brought up onto the Fashion Club's float and Tad had mouthed off to Sandi, calling her old. That had allowed Daria, Trent, and Tad to escape. Then the two heard a pair of familiar voices arguing.
"Lovers spat?" Daria asked from behind Tom and Jane.
"Daria, Trent, what are the two of you doing braving this horrific gathering of humanity?" Jane asked.
"I needed to run and retrieve bathroom supplies...uh..." Daria stopped realizing that her chance to make fifty bucks might have gone up in smoke.
"I got it Daria." Trent said with a smirk and Daria relaxed.
"Who's stranded in the Morgendorffer bathroom?" Jane asked with a cheeky grin.
"My father," Daria answered. But before she could go on, Trent pulled her out of the way and the paint that would have hit her hit the pavement.
"That was close." Tom remarked.
"Ah, she knows not to fear paint." Jane replied.
"Trent, get me out of here, now. I'm not in the mood for anymore of this." Daria said. Trent could detect her frustration under her monotone.
"Hey, wanna meet back up at the Pizza King?" Jane asked.
"Alright, yeah, sure, we'll be there," Daria said and looked over to Trent who nodded. The two managed to get back to Trent's car and the two headed back for the Morgendorffer residence.

If you dear reviewers have anymore ideas let me know. I'll be watching season 4 this weekend so I might have more to come.
