Swollen Years

Note: Chapter 4 now, ^.^ I guess im updating quickly, oh well.





~*Chapter 4*~



Tak could be barely see through the green liquid she was being tested in. She felt so weak. She completely naked, with wires attached to her Pak, thighs, arms, and chest.



A couple of bruises were being formed on her body as she was given several zaps of electric waves into her body from the wires attached to her. As she was being tested, she imagined herself strangling every human she could think of- besides Dib. He was the only human who didn't want to do shit to her, even though he was forced to send those waves into her body.



Tak, being sick of having several different tests on her body, began to shove her fists as hard as she could into the glass tube she was currently in. " WHAT DO YOU THINK IS SO AMUSING IN SEEING A NAKED FEMALE BEING NEARLY SHOCKED TO DEATH?!"



The green liquid began to fade in color, soon being perfectly clear, allowing Tak to see her surrondings.



"It's obvious if we don't allow her to see, she'll get even more violent." A male said.



She could see Dib, and many other scientists behind a row of computers, and machines. Everyone except Dib was taking notes on the results of Tak's body reactions to their cruel tests.



A purpled hair female stepped into the room, she looked familiar to Tak.. purple hair that grew out, with two peices of hair sticking out to the side of her face. Extremely narrowed eyes, and a death threatning look on her face. She, to Tak's surprise, wasn't wearing a lab coat. She was instead, wearing very dark, and gothic clothing with a skull necklace around her neck. Professor Membrane soon followed behind her.



"Now Gaz, I don't want you and your brother causing any trouble here what-so-ever."



"Whatever. When Dib and I are in the same room, you can almost garantee I'm gonna kick his ass." Gaz poked open an eye at her father. "Don't worry, I won't break anything more then his neck." She said that with a happy tone in her voice.



Her father only glared at her, with a 'you better not!' look. "Just remember, he's not that crazy son I always thought of him to be.. He has proof of aliens now Gaz! Isn't it wonderful?..My son."



"Yeah, yeah Dad. That's SO wonderful." Gaz said in a sarcastic voice. She obviously did'nt care about the sudden change in popularity for her brother, or the fact aliens were found. She knew about them ever since Zim came. Dib was still her brother who pissed her off. Nothing changed to her but the fact that humans actually knew about Irkens.



"Hey, pussy-dope! Dad wants to see you." She immediantly stuffed her hands in her pockets and took out her hand-held gaming system, and walked away near Tak's testing tube. Gaz began to chuckle- what a rare moment.

"So, you're back, huh? How are you enjoying the tests? Having fun?"



Tak snarled, she really wished she wasn't kept in the glass prison. "Shut up, human. While I busted my ass off to keep alive up in space, you're still the same gothic nerd."

Gaz's eyes grew wide, and her left eye twitched. "WHAT did you just say? At least I'M not in the glass tube, naked!"

"Well that's not my fault is it?!" Tak barked back.

Gaz only smiled. She reached into her other pocket and took out a nice big bag of potato chips. She opened the bag slowely, and let Tak watch her as she put a chip in her mouth and chewed slowely. The crunching noises sounded like torture to Tak's antennae. Her stomach was begging for a chip.

"Bet you wish you could a chip now, huh? Too bad you're stuck in there. I would've shared. I know how Irken's love snacks.."

Tak's purple eyes narrowed, antennaes twitching with each crunching sound. "You're a bitch.. When I snap one day, you're the first to go!"

Gaz only smiled again. "Nice tits."

"Fuck off!"



Gaz shrugged and went over to stand by her father, still chewing her chips, and sending taunting glares at Tak.



The scientists all nodded as Professor Membrane instructed them orders. Tak couldn't hear him, but she was able to catch only a few words. 'Assembly'...'questioning'... 'famous'. Everything else was blurred to her hearing.

All the scientists began to leave the room, one by one, Gaz and her father leaving first. Thank Irk Gaz left.



All the humans left, besides Dib. He was left behind, organizing all the notes and papers.



Tak huffed. " Aren't you going with them, Dib? And are they leaving me in here?!"



Dib looked back at her, and began to step forward to her tube. " I am. We're all going to a World Scientist Meeting, for me and my sister to be questioned about your race, since we both know a great deal about your kind. And no, you'll be kept in this tube till tommorow. Sorry."



Tak could hear someone come in this room.



"Oh! I didn't know Dib was in here." It was a male voice. It relieved Tak actually, female humans seemed to like to torture Tak.



Dib turned around to see a young, male scientist standing at the doorway. "Um, hello, can I help you?"

"... You can, actually."



The male began to step closer to Dib, and Tak's tube. The closer he got, the more clearly Tak could see him. He was quite the peice of hot ass. He looked about 18 years of age, and had a nice, too skinny body. He had green eyes with a ring of crimpson around the pupil. He has three golden peircings on his left ear, two on his right. His hair was also crimpson, with blonde highlights. The hair flipped over his head, and dangled over his left eye.



Dib examined the handsome young man for several moments, and spoke. " Yes, what do what?"

"Oooh nothing. I just got orders to pick up the papers of the results on the tests. I believe some other scientists would like to look it over and blah-blah-blah."



Dib stared at him for several moments again. " Certainly, the papers are over by the computer desk. I filed them, so it'll be easier for you to see them.

"Thank you so much sir, that makes my job so much easier."



As the young male began to pick up all the papers with notes on them, Dib and Tak stared at him, as if he was another alien.

Dib turned himself to the man. " I don't recall seeing you here in the labs before. Have we met? Or are you new?"



The male smiled, and looked at Dib with a cheerful, peppy look. "Oh, how selfish of me, to not introduce myself."

He stepped up to Dib and held out his hand for a handshake. "Nice to meet you, Dib. When I found out an Irken was found to be tested, I just had to meet you."



Dib took his hand firmly, and stared into his green-red eyes. " Yes thank you. But really, what's your name?"



The male's eyes shot open, and began to think, as if he didn't have a name. "Oh, uh, my name is...uh.. Nathan! YEAH, Nathan!" He began to shake Dib's hand at a rather quick pace, as if he was in a hurry to get out with his papers.



Dib stared at their quickly moving hands in confusion. "Ooo..kayy.. Anyway I'm happy to meet a new scientist working here. If you want, I'll be your guide if you need help."



"Oh, uh... thank you sir." He still didn't look go of their hands. Dib stared at their hands again.

"Nathan, you can let go now."

Nathan looked down at their hands and guickly jerked his hand away. "Now, I've gotten my papers, so I guess I'll.... be going now!"



Nathan quickly turned around and ran out of the door, leaving Dib looked dumb-founded. " Well then Tak, I guess I'll be on my way..."



"Yeah, you should." She wasn't in a good mood. Another scientist is here. Another human to run tests on her. Wonderful.



With that, Dib exited out of the door, leaving Tak in her test tube.

Several hours passed, and Tak was bored out of her mind. She began to look at her surroundings, trying to find a way to escape. She noticed a few bolts that screwed on into the tube. If Tak could unscrew those, she could be free!



Tak began to toy with them, trying her best to unscrew them with her weak fingers. "Come on...come on!" Soon the screw began to turn, making Tak gasp with happiness. She just might get out! A few more minutes of unscrewing, and the blots latched off, slowely sinking to the bottom of the long tube.

"Yes! This is my way out!" She began to unscrew more of them, only to interrupted by a human staring at her.



Tak could hear an 'ahem!', causing her to gasp, and look who suddenly came and saw her attempt at escaping.

Nathan looked up at her, with a smile on his face. His hands were behind his back, and he rocked back and forth on his heels. "Trying to escape, EH?"



Tak snarled at him. "Fuck off! If you were in this fucking tube, you'd be doing the same thing!"

"You're right. I would, but I'm NOT in there, am I?"

"Please, just let me go. You have no idea how badly I need to get away from here!" She surprised her own self. She was begging to escape.

Nathan only shook his head 'no' and made several, 'tsk tsk tsk', noises on the tip of his mouth. "I'm surprised, Tak, I really am. Begging to get out.." He stressed his tone when he said her name.

"How do you know my name?"

"HAH! How do I not?! I am very smart, as you should know.Oh yes, so very very smart. And other then that obvious fact, everyone here says your name is Tak."



Tak rolled her eyes at his first statement, he didn't seem very smart to her. She barely knew him. "Whatever, I don't care! Now, are you gonna help me out, or are you just going to stare at me smiling?!"

Nathan shrugged. " I don't know. Im getting a good amount of amusment by watching you in there. I think I like you there."

"You're just plain evil!"

Nathan rubbed his knuckles on his shirt, smiling. "Heh, I guess I am!"

"You take that as a compliment?" Never before has Tak heard of a human who was proud to be called evil. "You're a strange human.."



Nathan rolled his eyes. "Whatever. I make a wonderful human! Don't deny that! And to think I came all the way down here again to be nice to you, and for what? Having you shove hating insults at me? Why, I'm offended. "



Tak stared at him with wide eyes, only to narrow again. "Fine, sorry. So, why did you really come to see me?"



The male looked up at her and smiled warmly. " I figuered you must be sick of being in there for so long, that I decided I should take you for walk around the lab. It's so big!"



Tak was shocked. A human was actually willing to let her out? "Why are you being so nice to me?!"

Nathan shrugged. "Oh I also brought you clothing if you want take a walk with me." He held out clothing that was violet-purple, like Tak's eyes. " I know Irkens like wearing clothing based on their eye color."



Again, Tak was shocked at this human. He was being nice, and he knew a very detailed fact about her race. "Ok, maybe you're smart after all." She looked into his eyes again, but only to stare at the crimpson ring around his pupil. "Fine, I'll take a walk with you. I'm sick of being in here!"



Nathan smiled. " Very well then!" He walked behind a long desk of computers and machines, and finally found the 'Release' button.



Several seconds after the button was pressed, the liquid began to drain, leaving Tak surronded in the tube only by air. The tube then opened at the top, an released her of the attached wires. She was free at last.



As she climbed out, Nathan waited for her. When she was finally out, her offered her the clothing. " Here, these should fit you. Although I feel dissapointed, I won't be able to see that yummy body of yours, eh?"



Tak felt uncomfterable instantly. It felt weird for a human to be hitting on her naked body. She didn't know if she should be flattered, or disguisted.

" I don't care what you say, Nathan. You're a terrible human."



Nathan rolled his eyes. "Whatever, Tak. The sooner you get your clothes on, the sooner we can start walking.



When Tak was done dressing herself, Nathan had a delighted look on his face. "Good! Now lets go." He grabbed her by the hand and started to lead her down the halls. Tak began to blush as the human kept a firm grip on her hand.

"Now, Tak. Don't think about running out on me. I'll make sure you won't get out of my reach."
