How it happened
Note: I'm seriously mad XDD I almost had this chapter COMPLETELY finished, and BAM my computer shuts down. So I had to re-write this chapter, which is very important for you to understand.
If you're reading this story, and have the ability to review, PLEASE do so. I want to know how my progress is.
Anyway, I just recently when back to Chapt. 1 and 2 to check for errors of my typing. I found a nice amount lol XD So, again, don't whine about my errors, just tell me, M'k?
~*Chapter 3*~
Tak looked at Dib to see if he was listening to her. "Oh yes, you don't know anything about the Irken Race's doom, do you?"
Dib shook his head. "No.. care to tell me about it?"
"Hm, I don't know Dib. Should I? It's really long and-"
"- Don't waste my time Tak, PLEASE tell me. I told you mine!"
A smile stretched across Tak's face. She loved it when people beg, or nearly beg to get what they want."Ok, fine Dib. But it's long, so don't ask questions till the end, or interrupt me, or I won't bother to tell you."
Dib nodded, and allowed her to start.
Tak smiled and began. "A long time ago, during Operation Impending Doom 2, a group of rebelling alien species joined together to stop the Massive, and put an end to Operation Impending Doom 2. They called themselves, the 'Resisty'." Tak rolled her violet eyes at the stupid name, as did Dib.
"Their first attempt to stop the Massive failed because the leader was an idiot. They ended up fleeing, and destroying their ship.
Well, during Operation Impending Doom 3, the Tallests became.. terrible leaders. They've became lazy, and didn't care about what happened to others. They believed everything would go fine with having the Invaders, and Bounty-Hunters do their job. They didn't care how more and more Irkens were found dead from rebelling aliens, or strange explosions that occured for no reason. Soon, the Irken population began to drop."
Dib stared at her, stroking his chin with fascination. He wondered if the Tallests were still those red and purple eyes leaders he once got to speak to. Tak went on.
"The Tallests didn't know that the Resisty had formed a large group, about 120 members or so. They also gained a new, very clever, and great leader. No one knew who he was, like his name, and race. It was completely unknown.
Over time, the Irken Race began to despise our leaders. We hated how we were under their rule, and how bad of a job they were doing. The control brains did'nt do anything! Soon the guards who looked over the Tallests also hated them, so they did not guard the Tallests, leaving them vulnerable for assination."
She looked up at Dib to see if he was still listening. He was, so she found the need to go on.
"One day, the Resisty's unknown leader murdered both the Tallests, and got away, leaving no trace of how he got in, how he did the murder, who he was, and how he got away."
Although Tak requested Dib not to interrupt, he did anyway. "Your race must have been devestated, I mean, having your leaders killed. That must be the reason your race failed to stand.."
Tak interrupted him with a hysterical laugh. "Devestated? We were overjoyed! Our terrible leaders were gone! But yes, you're correct. That was the reason for the downfall of the Irken race. With no leaders, we were vulnerable as well.
With no leaders to protect us, Vortians began to kill, or enslave Irkens with no one stopping them. Rebelling aliens also began to do the same. Thus, making the Irken Race's population drop terribly! But that's not what caused the main fall of the Irken Race.."
Dib looked at her, waiting for her to go on again. Tak closed her eyes, and clenched her teeth together in anger.
"Domists...The main reason of my race's fall. Sneeky creatures actually, impossible to stop."
The human looked at her, and spoke. " What are they like?"
"I was just going to get to that. They're not like any other creature. They're the size of an Earth pencil, and they're clear, and impossible to see."
"That's very interesting.."
"Oh, that's not the interesting part of them at all, Dib." She was getting kinda pissed at his interruptions, but let them pass her. " They take Irken bodies they want to have as their own. They sneek themselves into the Irken Pak, and shut it down, leaving the Irken to die in 10 minutes. LITTLE BASTARDS!"
Tak began to punch her fists in the floor with anger. It didn't scare Dib, though. He didn't tell her to calm down. He sat there only looking at her until she finally calmed down.
"Ugh.. i'm truely sorry, Dib. It just..pisses me off..."
"It's alright. I'de be pissed off too." He then shut up, waiting for Tak to go on once more.
"Alright then Dib." She took a few deep breathes and went on. "After the Irken is completely dead, the Domist will re-activate the Pak, somehow reviving the Irken body. It in a matter of seconds, the domist will attach itself to the Irken brain, and take full control of the body."
Dib began to stroke his chin once again. He had to admit, it was interesting how the Domists did their way of killing off Irkens. His thoughts were interrupted when Tak went on again.
"Not only do they get the body, but the memories and knowledge also. That is why Domists go after Invader, Ex-Invader, somewhat like myself, and Bounty-Hunters. They go after Irkens who have great knowledge of planets, where they are located, and the species who inhabite them. Using that very knowledge, they can inform their species of a new planet to take over..." She didn't speak for several seconds, leaving Dib to ask her a question.
"So, is there anyway to know if an Irken is taken over, or no..?"
"Not really. Only difference is change in behaviour. Domists are either too nice, or too insane... which means you can only tell if a Domist have taken control if he is too nice, since Irkens are basically only too insane."
"Aw, I see. Is there any other species like a Domist, or no?"
"To my knowledge Dib, no. And I hope to Irk not." Her eyes snapped open. Irk.. the main planet of Irkens. That led to anything thing. "Planet Irk, our main home planet began to destory itself. We had no way of stopping it.
After our planet was destoryed, and Domists took over, Irkens are now found completely dead..."
Dib started to shake his head. He couldn't believe how unlucky the Irken Race has been. It was near impossible..
His thoughts led back to Zim. He could only pray to his Earth god that he was still alive somewhere. Perhaps hiding, or being with the Domists, trying to act like one of them. The Irken was lucky. No matter what, he was always found alive, no matter the situation.
The door to the room began to open, leading in a male scientist. Tak couldn't remember if his name was Jeft, but she couldn't remember.
"Excuse me, Dib sir. Uh, we would like to see you, and the..er...alien if you don't mind."
"Hm, why?"
"We would like to test her body reactions to different stimuluses."
Dib scowled. "And why do you need me?.."
" Your father wishes for you to be the one conducting the experiement sir."
"Well," Dib barked. He was obviously not happy with his father." Tell my Dear sweet father I do not wish to conduct it."
"I'm sorry sir, but you have no choice.. We will be waiting for you in the test tube testing area." And then the male was gone.
Dib's eyes were filled with hate. " I'm sorry Tak. I really am, but if my father is going to force me to do this, I have no choice.." He looked down at her, only to see her face had a mix of emotions. Anger, fear, confused. All those emotions locked into one look.
"It's alright Dib. It's not your fault." She stood up and began to head to the door, waiting for Dib to follow.
The human got up, and grabbed her by the elbow. "Follow me, then." He began to lead her down the hall, to the Test Tube Room.
"Dib, this is gonna suck isn't it?..."
"As much as I hate to say it, yes."
They then entered the testing room, and began.
