Again? Yes, again. Episode would have been better had it been during the time when she still had the crush, but a lot of us believe that it never went away. Anyway, warning, the smut returns! Yes, that's right, the smut makes its semi-triumphant return to this collection! Now, I'm going to earn that damned 'M' rating for this thing, or not...we'll see.

Her shoulders slumped as she headed back to Penny's room. The paranoid artist with the drill needed to lose the paranoia. The door to the bathroom opened and out walked Trent in only a pair of black boxers. He seemed to be oblivious to Daria's presence as he walked back to his room. He was humming a song that she didn't recognized, but the identity of the tune wasn't what was on her mind. She had never seen him in so less of dress. Seeing her chance to flee, she quickly retreated back to Penny's room.

'Damn it damn it damn it damn it!' Daria furiously thought. The site of Trent nearly naked had stimulated a part of her that hadn't been stimulated before. She could feel that her nipples were as hard as diamonds and she found her panties were starting to get a little wet. Needing something to distract her mind she quickly goes for a book and starts reading. Of course, this is interrupted by a knock on the door and Tom coming.

'When it rains...at least it wasn't Trent...' Daria thought to herself.

He could hear the two talking. He shook his head wishing one of them would realize what he knew to be true.

'Damn, those two don't see it. Or, Tom sees it and wants to see if Daria would be interested. But, shouldn't he break up with Janie...of course, if I were to become sort of buffer between them until Tom's brain got working again...better send him to Janie. That way there will be no trouble, for now.' Having made his decision, he peaked in the moment the conversation stopped.

"Hey," Trent greeted, "If you had a date tonight, you better let Janie know you're here." he continued and motioned for Tom to look at the clock. Seeing that it was ten 'til six, Tom quickly retreated out the room. Trent nodded his approval as the boy left and Trent gently kicked the door shut. He locked it and smirked to himself. That had gone quite well in his opinion.

Daria noticed none of this. In fact, the moment Trent spoke, the higher brain functions that normally controlled her actions had been replaced by those primal urges that she had tried to ignore when she had seen him almost naked. Sure, he was mostly clothed now, but the image wouldn't leave her alone.

"You ok?" he asked.

"Huh?" she replied her brain starting to function again.

"Distracted a little?" he asked with a half grin on his face.

"Yeah..." she replied. 'Leave...in the name of everything leave!' Daria shouted in her mind.

"Tom gets distracted when he's around you." Trent commented.

'Dear god no! Why won't you leave!' "What do you mean?" she managed to say. Trent smirked. He didn't know why, but that steal reinforced concrete barrier that seemed to protect her true thoughts and emotions wasn't up at the moment and Trent was going to take advantage of that.

"Any time you're alone with him, he seems to lose track of time. Another ten minutes and Jane would have found him in here." Trent began.

"And the paranoia would have continued."

"Riiight." Trent replied with a smile. She was seeing the light, hopefully.

"Do you really think he's interested in me in that way?" she inquired.

"He's getting board with Jane. Jane can't keep up with his brain and Tom is tiring of that. You can, though. That's probably why your magnetizing him to you."

Daria bit her lip. Since he was forcing her to focus on their conversation, her brain was able to analyze with better clarity. She closed her eyes and decided to accept the truth that Trent had already accepted.

"I can't say that you're wrong, but I just don't want it to be true, I guess." she went quiet at the end.

"Hey," he said and came closer to the bed, "It's not your fault. Tom's the one getting board and not informing Jane before he started roaming."

"Then..."

"She can hold on to things a little too tightly. Things she likes a lot she can choke the life out of with the grip she puts on them at times." he replied. Silence fell upon them for a moment and those primal urges were starting to overwhelm her brain again. Fortunately, Trent spoke again.

"I disappointed you didn't I?" he asked.

"Huh?" Daria replied in confusion once again.

"That whole project thing. I let you down and whatever trust you had in me I destroyed by not coming through on that promise. I don't know what was dumber, saying 'yes' to it, or not being able to come up with thirty damned seconds of music." he finished.

'And I'm judging any sort of deeper relationship that I could have with him by that failure.' she thought. 'And now Tom is around. Which one do I really want.?' she asked herself.

"I just wish I knew how to repair what I destroyed." he continued. He shook his head and silently decided to leave. Before he could take another step, he felt her small hand grip his wrist. It was surprisingly strong to Trent seeing that she was so short compared to him.

"Why are we letting a stupid class assignment from that wet blanket O'Neill effect us like this?"

"Should we?" Trent asked. This was going in a direction that he hadn't expected, but if it kept going...

"I don't think that O'Neill should have that much influence over us." Daria replied and he came to the edge of the bed with her hand still on his wrist, but the grip had loosened.

"I don't think anyone at that school should influence us." he said and looked down at her. She sat up and he leaned and kissed her. He joined her on the bed as they continued to kiss. The two broke part hearing the doorbell ringing and then hearing Daria's mother calling from downstairs.

"Let's not schedule dates like normal couples would. That way You don't have to worry about keeping track of time and that will keep you from having to face my mother every time you come over." she said after pack king up.

"Cool." he acknowledged with a smile. he watched her leave and heard a minute later her mother starting in on her. He shook his head and decided to get out of Penny's room It was starting to creep him out a little.

"Hey," Daria greeted Trent after he had opened the door.

"Janie's upstairs...with Tom." he said. "Wanna wait in my room until they are done?"
"Best not disturb them." she said and Trent stood aside in order to let her in. He followed her up the stairs and Trent quietly closed the door behind him. She sat on the end of the bed and Trent took a position behind her. She was about to question him when he put pressure on her spine and something popped and the feeling of relief came over her body.

"You carry too many books." Trent commented.

"That's....not the...only reason...I've got a slight chronic...back pain." she let out as her back popped again.

"Really?" he asked with an unseen smirk.

"My height doesn't support my bra size." she replied not realizing what she was admitting.

"Then, lay across my lap and let me do this properly then." Trent offered. Daria sighed, tossed her jacket aside and unsteadily did what he requested of her.

Jane smirked to herself coming back up the stairs. Hearings strange noises from Trent's room, she went to investigate. She opened the door to find her brother, sitting at the end of his bed with her best friend laid sprawled across his lap with her jacket and shirt off. Her bra was still on and his hands seemed to be giving Daria's back a deep massage.

"Uhhhh...." Jane began wondering if she was still a little light headed after the make out session she had with Tom after showing him her latest work.

"Hey Janie." Trent said with a smile.

"When..."

"Had a talk that last night I stayed over while the house was being painted. We came to an understanding." Daria replied with her voice being muffled by the mattress. She was blushing, but she really wanted o hide the smile that was on her face.

"Ooookay, I was going to request a favor of you, but I'll wait until your love slave finishes." Jane said and left. She shook her head wondering if she should even bother asking Daria to help her dye her hair.
