Here's another one. I think the next couple will be from season 5.

"Gotta be somewhere we can get some food..." Trent said as he drove down the road of the hick town they were in.
Might have to get back on the highway...I think...wait a minute...civilization." Jane pointed out a small place whose parking lot was almost full.
"What about that country store across the street?" Trent asked.
"Nah, I wouldn't trust that place to have anything edible. Besides, we may find someone that can tell us where we can find some decent to eat around here if the health inspector in this small place has told them not to serve humans." Jane commented and Trent shrugged and parked the tank.
"Think this place even has a health inspector?" Trent asked and got out of the tank. He noticed that the car he had parked beside didn't seem to belong with the other rest buckets that had filled the lot.
"Probably does, but he's probably been bought off or is apart of some good-o-boys network." Jane replied and noticed her brother's lack of movement. She then saw what caught his eye. "Well, that certainly doesn't belong here."
"Who'd be rich enough around here to own it?" Trent asked.
"C'mon, let's see if we can find said owner of said sports car inside." Jane suggested and the two head inside.

The smell of Brunswick Stew and BBQ assaulted their noses the moment the siblings entered.
"Well, got to be better than the Pizza King." Jane joked. Then, a bass guitar along with a keyboard started playing. Trent's head whipped around to see a pair on stage.
The boy looked around Trent's age, maybe older, and was playing the bass. Trent could see the fire and passion the player had for what he was playing, even if it was a cover of Anesthesia(1).
The girl that joined in was even shorter than Daria. Her skin was as white as a ghost and her hair was the blackest Trent had ever seen.
"Wonder what happened to the rest of the band." Jane joked with a smirked as the two Lanes took a booth. Trent didn't respond as he kept watching. "Yo Trent!"
"Huh? Oh, sorry Janie. That music..."
"They are much better than the collection of musicians you've got." Jane quipped.
"You order, I'm going to see if I can join in." he said and rushed to get his guitar.
"More for me then." Jane said with a smile.

'Four hours and it looks like my slacker of a brother has found whatever inspires him to be such a slacker muscian.' Jane thought while listening to the conversation.
"Your prime? If you aren't known outside of Lawndale then you haven't hit your prime." Daric said taking several fries and shoving them down his gullet.
"Jessie thought we needed a sitar..."
"A sitar? You don't use an instrument like that in grunge rock. What are you wanting to sound like in the first place?" he asked.
"Don't know. Here, see what you think we should sound like." Trent said and handed over one of his lyric notebooks that he'd decided to bring with him in case his muse came out for some fun.
Daric looked over the lyrics and lightly shook his head. "They don't teach poetry there at LHS do they?"
"You seem to be very familiar with Lawndale." Jane spoke up.
"I should, I went to Fielding." Daric remarked.
"So you drive that black car that is emanating the scent of money." Jane said with a smirk.
"What the hell are you doing out here?" Trent asked.
"We were heading home from college, but got a speeding ticket and I've had to earn enough money to pay off the speeding ticket along with all the other fines they decided to heap upon me. There's a speed trap about six miles if you're heading out that way." Daric pointed and Trent shuttered remembering the last time they had a run in with the law.
"Need a band to join?" Trent asked.
"You offering to kick your bass player out?"
"He's one of the problems we've had ever since we've been together. Plus, you have this fiery edge that we need." Trent said.
"Yeah, they do need an edge to their dull sound." Jane joked.
"It's a package deal." Daric said.
"Hmmm, yeah, that will definitely give us a unique sound." Trent said.
"Good. So what are you doing so far away from home?" Daric asked and the two Lanes explained their reasoning for being out in the sticks.

"Told you she was the darling of the camp." Jane quipped.
"Daria popular...that'll take some time to get used to." Trent commented.
"I'm not popular I tell you." Daria complained. Before Jane could make another remark another voice shouted out.
"You!" Skip shouted charging towards Daria and Amelia. Daria bit her lip. She didn't like that manic look on Skip's face. The angry former self-proclaimed boss of the camp pushed down Amelia to the ground, snatched Daria's glasses from and smirk triumphantly.
"You blind little girl...why didn't you go to blind camp if you can't see you little blind girl." Skip teased as Daria tried unsuccessfully to retrieve her glasses from Skip.
"Leave her alone!" Amelia shouted but Skip but her back down on the ground. Jane was about to march over and kick the boy where the sun didn't shine, but Jane saw Trent stocking over to Skip holding his switchblade and the blade was out.
'Thought he stopped carrying that thing.' Jane thought.
"Give them back, or your not going to like the consequences." Trent growled.
"Oh really? You didn't even go..." but his statement was cut off by Trent slashing into Skip's left check. The sight of his own blood freaked the boss camper out. He dropped the glasses which Trent swiftly caught in his other hand and Skip ran away.
"Here," Trent said putting Daria glasses back where they belonged.
Thanks," she quietly said.
"Wow, you got a boyfriend?" Amelia asked and to Jane's amusement, Daria blushed.
"C'mon, let's go." Daria growled and stormed off to the tank. Trent laughed all the way to the driver's side door and the three left.
