Becky and Huggy collapse on the bed exhausted. As she thought, the ring was back to its old tricks and had run her and her monkey ragged across the city. She tries not to cry, but the loneliness she feels without Tim.
"This hurts, Huggy. It was just the two of us a couple of years ago, but then Tim came. I don't know how I'm going to continue without him." she says sadly. Huggy hugs her trying to comfort her. Somehow they would find Tim. And heaven help the one who had taken him away from her.

Well, there it is." Caelum comments watching the transport land in the distance. The humans are here."
"I still say this is breaking the non-interference clause...," Belstran begins but Caelum gives him a dirty look.
"Don't quote Lexiconian regulations to me. I know what Decimal and Lexicon agreed upon, but this ain't no normal colony. So I would appreciate you shutting your fucking trap." Caelum growls. 'I've really got to find a better line of work.'

She smirks to herself seeing the additions to Tim. He now was sporting a collar with two chains. the first was a leash and could choke him when he was misbehaving. The other chain was connect to a sniper rifle mounted on the wall direct in front of the bed. This was if WordGirl, or Tim's wife were to show up. She looks over at the ring with disgust. She smiles hearing Tim waking. She takes the small pie pan with the hot candle wax. Tim's screams echoes off the walls as she lets the super hot liquid burn his sack.
"It's your fault, it's your fucking fault! You're making me do this!" Sherreah screams. After he passes out again, she takes his glasses and ring and puts them in a small box.
"Now, you can have these back, Becky Botsford." she says to herself.

"We're on this rock alone. What could those eggheads from our colony and the humans find here? There isn't any life that has sprang up except for us." Caelum says laying beside Emma.
"That's eggheads for you...,they always have to figure out things that already have been figured out." Emma comments. "Have they found...?"
"No. Becky is handling the ring almost on her own. The robot versions are off-line while Tracie and Tobey try to run maintenance on them that they so badly needed. If she finds the one that took him, she'll kill her."
"Do you think she'll crack?"
"No. She'll want to be there when Tim is finally found."

Claire sits alone in the kitchen. She takes another sip of the brandy she had pored for herself. Sally comes into the room.
"She's got every right to be mad at me. Hell, I tried to stop her and Tim from happening by sending him away that first summer." Claire states.
"You were acting like an overprotective mother. Now, who is she?"
"Sherreah Stone, forever will I regret letting Tim do that tutoring job for the high school. I needed him to do something after school and I thought that would be good since he loves math so much. Shereah got obsessed with him. Tim was put in a position where his true identity would be discovered. That's why he got hurt the last time he encountered her." Claire explains.
"Is that why you didn't want Tim hanging around Becky?"
"I didn't want him getting into another situation like that...,or even worse than Sherreah. Then he was put in the hospital and then the murder of that pregnant girl drove him into your daughter's arms."
"And the rest is history." Sally finishes.
"Can she for give me?"
"If Tim is found alive, yes, but if he's...,"
"No Sally, don't say it. If Tim is...,I'd never be able to forgive myself."

"Give me some good news." WordGirl requests.
"Robo-Team Alphanumeric is ready to go again." Tobey reports.
"Good, have them do my and MathWiz's normal patrol routes." WordGirl states.
"And what...?" Tobey begins but WordGirl stops him.
"Tim's out there and I think I know where." she quietly says.
"The slums?" Tobey asks.
"It's the only part of the city where she'd be able to hide him."
"Uh, this was dropped off at Tubing's lab." Tracie says handing over a box to WordGirl. she opens to see Tim's glasses, the ring, and a black lotus.
"Word up." she says gritting her teeth and taking off.
"Uh?" Tracie asks confused.
"There secrets about the Team that I'm not at liberty to tell you yet. The long and short of it is that something has happened that is effecting WordGirl personally. Anything else and I'll be breaking confidences."

"Why have you called at such an ungodly hour?" Caelum growls. Emma was asleep and he had gotten a call from Belstran.
"We might not be as alone as we thought." he begins.
"What the fuck do you mean?"
"The human colony has report several women missing."
"Missing? Are you sure? Are they sure?"
"That's the problem, several of our people have picked up the shadows of creatures with tentacles."
'Fuck, increase the patrols and make sure that no one goes into a darken area alone." Caelum orders. He lays back down and spoons Emma. 'Looks like this rock wasn't as dead as we thought, or Calisto's people woke something up.'

The door is kicked down. Sherreah turns to see that WordGirl had found her. The crazed girl quickly climbs into the WarGirl suit.
"Leave us alone! He's no longer Becky Botsford's." Sherreah growls.
"Don't think that suit will save you. If you've done your homework, then you know that I've killed before and I will do it again." WordGirl growls. She sees the condition Tim was in and she starts seeing red. "Bitch!" she shouts and attacks violently/.
