MaxJ1800: Sorry, I guess I'm not all that great in creating villains. If you think I should, he could disappear within one to two chapters. No! No Elvis impersonators! Lol! Yes, the numbers game will be obviously used against the Team during this trying time. I think I'll go with Scholastic Kid as Carina's alias. She's got both skills with numbers and words just like her parents.

" I don't think that'll work as a costume, Carina." Becky comments. Huggy starts laughing uproariously. Carina makes a face at Huggy and Tim chuckles. Carina had found a pair of goggles, a towel, and a pair of rubber gloves.
"I think it's time to excavate our closet for something a bit more proper for her." Tim states picking up his daughter.
"Uh, I don't think...," Becky begins.
"I know we've both probably got horrid costumes in their, but maybe laughing boy can help us." Tim says directing his last comment at Huggy who stops laughing and rolls his eyes. Huggy follows The four come into the bedroom and Becky opens up the closed and the two grab several boxes.
"She'll need a name." Tim comments.
"Little Princess?" Becky asks.
"Alphanumeric Girl? Tim offers.
"Nah, to much like the team name. Power toddler?" The two don't notice the angry look on their daughter's face.
"Mom! Dad! I'm Scholastic Girl!" she shouts mad at the names she had heard her parents toss out.
"Hmmm, I think she's on to something." Tim says scratching his chin in thought.
"Yeah, ok, Carina, Scholastic Girl it is." Becky says smiling at her daughter who relaxes her angry look.
"I want to keep the goggles." Carina states.
"Well, your father does wear prescription goggles when he's MathWiz." Becky states starting to open the boxes of costumes.

"Good work as usual, robot." Tobey states after it had come back from another Violet craving run. He sighs to himself. Mr. Big probably had his hand in making things difficult for him. His classes were coming along ok, but trying to get his business off the ground was hitting obstacles. 'The trial of the century will begin tomorrow. If I know Two Brains and the others like I do, they'll make the rest of Team Alphanumeric's life quite difficult. I guess I better be on stand-by just in case they might need me.' he thinks seeing Violet eating like she hadn't eaten in days.

The press were out in full force. Cameras were snapping pictures as the city's hero, WordGirl, made her way into court. Beside her was her partner and lover MathWiz. And holding his other hand, wearing a blue costume with silver trimming and the shield and star logo of her mother, but the star was silver, was their daughter. Reports scream out questions as Clair Drakesford leads them into the court house.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this case might just be the most difficult for any jury to come up with a verdict. We have a hero who has protected the city for over half her life. Her child was kidnapped, and like any good parent, she wanted to do anything to protect that child. WordGirl, however, went too far and killed the mad man. In her mind she wanted to bring her on justice instead of letting the courts decide. This was murder. Plain and simple." the older DA, that was first chairing the case, finishes his remarks.
""The prosecution is correct about one thing, she was trying to protect her child. This wasn't a normal act of terrorism like at the school. Nor was it an attack on MathWiz. No, this was about an innocent girl that was nabbed from her home and was used against Team Alphanumeric in a vicious trap. We intend to prove that WordGirl was justified in her actions. That any parent, faced with the same circumstances, would do the same exact thing. The prosecution will have you believe that the letter of the law was broken and that is the only thing you need to look at. I say go farther than that. A mother, angered by one of her enemies, in a rage, kills this mad bomber. She was trying to protect that little girl who is here in court today. She wasn't young enough to properly fight the Arabian Bomber. She didn't realize the seriousness of the situation. And that's what you need to on. What would you do if you were in WordGirl's position." Clair finishes her opening remarks.

"Opening statements were on today's agenda in the most important case this city has ever seen. It appears that the entire family, WordGirl, MathWiz, and the daughter only known as Scholastic Girl, were present in the courtroom. The prosecution will try to focus on the fact that WordGirl didn't allow a jury to determine the Bomber's fate. The defense will counter with the fact that this was a case of a mother protecting a child." the anchor reports on the evening news.

"Ok, everyone, you know what needs to be done. We've got the numbers and we've got the fire power. Let's clean out this town and wear out the remaining members of Team Alphanumeric!" Two Brains rallies and the other villains cheer his sentiment. They would rob the city blind and the team that had been a thorn in everyone's side for almost three years wouldn't stand a chance.
