"Ugh, where am I?" Violet asks. It felt like someone had hit her in the head, but the last thing she could remember was going straight to bed. She notices that she was tied to a chair with a bright light shining over her head. She then notes that her right foot was bare and it was propped up on a stool, but her right leg was also restrained. She see and hears the door to the room open and several shadowy figures enter the room.
"Well well little Violet, you've got some answers to some questions we want answered." the first states.
"Did you guys trick Scoops?"
"Oh, she's already gotten that far. Looks like you'll have to stay until we get our hands on Team Alphanumeric." a second states.
"I'll never tell you!" Violet shouts.
"Oh, but you will, or you'll laugh yourself to death." a third says brandishing a feather and starts running it across her foot. Violet tries to hold in her laughter, but after thirty seconds of this, she breaks and starts laughing her head off.

"Kids! Get down here!" Mr. Botsford shouts upstairs. Caelum, Emma, Tim, and Becky quickly come down to see Becky's father holding an envelope. He hands it to Becky who notices the seal of the Alliance of Humanity on the front. She growls and violently rips it open.
Dear Team Alphanumeric:
You were able to escape our legal means of getting rid of you, but now it appears we'll be using unconventional means. We know that Violet knows Caelum and Emma, but she hasn't as of yet told us the identities of WordGirl and MathWiz. She's in our care and will be interrogated under lamp and feathers. You will not be able to find her. Once we find out who you are we shall expose you and make you out to be the government shame that you are.
Becky almost turns the note into confetti, but Tim stops her.
"Tobey's got to see that first. I'll take it to him. Calculate!" Tim shouts and flies out a window with the letter.
"What do we do?" Emma asks.
"We search every square inch of the city until we find her." Becky growls. "Huggy!" she shouts and the monkey comes bounding down the stairs. "Violet's been kidnapped. We'll need you in the search." she says and the monkey nods his head.

"This...,this...,this...,there isn't a word in the English language to describe this!" Tobey furiously shouts throwing the letter down. "Just who do they think they're messing with?! I'm joining the search." Tobey states.
"Uh, have you...,"
"My war machine just got an upgrade with very advance detection equipment. I installed it just after me and Violet got serious. I'll inform mother of the situation and join the search."
"Does she know everything?"
"No, but she does know that I'm a reserve member of Team Alphanumeric." Tobey answers and MathWiz leaves to join the search.

"Team Alphanumeric is looking for her." one of the figures states. They were letting Violet rest from her last bout of laughter.
"They won't be able to find us. This is an unused skyscraper and we're in the middle of the building." a second states.
"Tobey has joined the search. If he's improved that war machine of his then he might be here soon." a third states.
"We have their friend. They won't do anything too drastic." the first states. Now, let's see if she's recovered yet."

"Tobey, how goes the search?" WordGirl asks over the phone.
"I'm at an unused skyscraper in the business district of downtown. There are sever heat signatures that have been moving between the 20th and 25th floors of the building. There's one signature that hasn't moved since I've got here. Permission to get a better look."
"Granted, but don't do anything rash."
"Understood." Tobey says and hangs up. He takes out a small device from a compartment and activates.
'Large robots are easy, but small, spy bots like this one are more of a delicate thing to construct.' Tobey muses and launches the small eye shaped bot into the ventilation system of the building.

"Never...,hahahaha...,I'll....,hahahahaha....,aahahahahaah...,tell...,hahahaaaahaha...,you!" Violet laughs out.
"Oh, but you will." one of the shadowy figures states. Had he had the brains to look up into the vent, he would have seen a little round object watching his every move.

"Bingo! Damn them, they are trying to tickle the information out of her." He grabs his phone and sends a text message to all of Team Alphanumeric. Five minutes later, four teenagers and a monkey show up beside the hovering war machine.
"In there?" WordGirl asks.
"On the 23rd floor." Tobey reports.
"C'mon, let's go bust some heads." Caelum says smirking.

'I...,don't know...,how much...,more I can..., take.' Violet thinks. as she was given yet another break from the feather. The one holding the feather approaches her foot again, but he hears commotion outside the door. He goes to check it out when he is clubbed upside the head by Caelum. WordGirl comes running into the room to find her friend.
"Hi...,guys...," she gasps out.
"Guess they didn't want to use more sinister methods of getting the information they're looking for." Tim states.
"Probably doesn't want Tobey destroying every single hideout they've got." WordGirl states untying Violet. The four find the nearest window and fly out of it. Tobey comes over in his machine and WordGirl gently deposits Violet into Tobey's arms.
"You ok?" Tobey asks.
"Yeah, but I don't think I'll be able to comfortably walk on my right foot for some time." Tobey growls but restrains himself from destroying the building. Instead, he flies himself and Violet back to his place.
'Don't ever try that again, or you'll regret it.' Tobey vows.

"Gaaah!" Scoops shouts as Caelum flies into Scoops's room.
"Ok, punk," Caelum growls and presses Scoops into a wall, "The next time you contact or get contacted by those fools you will tell them you've found out WordGirl and MathWiz's identities and would wish to tell them personally due to the fact that Tobey possibly has bugged your phone. You've got that?" Scoops nods and Caelum flies out. Scoops falls to the floor a nervous pile of goo.
