Inside, Violet was nervous, but she knew that she had to be the one to tell Tobey's mom about this. Tobey would be skinned alive if he was the one to tell his mother.
"Now let me understand you correctly, you are my son?s girlfriend?" she asks Violet and Violet nods. "And you were suspicious that you might have gotten pregnant during that last incident with the lust ray?" she asks and Violet nods again. "And you are now telling me that you are pregnant?" she asks and again Violet nods. "If it were just the two of you doing it without thinking I would be furious with the both of you, especially my son. However, I've gotten my hands on the designs for that thing and it's insidious." Violet inwardly sighs. It was more likely than not that she had gotten pregnant during one of those times in Mrs. Drakesford's barn. "Alright, Tobey, come out of that hiding spot." Mrs. Mckalester commands and Tobey comes out looking quite nervous.
"Mother, uh, you see...,I know I should have...," Tobey begins losing his fake accent as he stutters but his mother stops him.
"It's alright, Tobey, but I hope you'll be responsible for this child."
"Oh, I will, I will." Tobey agrees quickly. He didn't know why he loved Violet but he did and would take care of both her and their child.
"Y'know, you've been good for him. I'm glad you've managed to change him. Now, before I take the two of you to school, let's have some breakfast shall we?" she asks and the couple nod thanking whatever was watching over them that it had protected them from Mrs. Mckalester's wrath.

The classroom was mostly empty save for Caelum and Emma. The two had gotten to school early enough to try and avoid any attention that they would draw. Unfortunately they did, but to their surprise most everyone that came up to them wanted the two more rougher members of Team Alphanumeric to let WordGirl and MathWiz know that they were supporting them.
"Why hasn't their been a backlash against them?" Caelum asks.
"Becky told us about that last incident with the Arabian Bomber, remember?" Emma asks and Caelum nods.
"Yeah, I guess all the kids were quite appreciative of those two saving their asses." Caelum quietly comments.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm not used to this, Emma. I'm not used to be worried for someone like this. What if they are thrown in jail?" Caelum asks. "What if they come after us next?"
"WordGirl and MathWiz belong in jail, but You don't, my Caelum." Eileen states coming into the room.
"How many times must I tell you, he's my boyfriend!" Emma rants.
"Hey you two," Scoops greets coming into the room. Caelum had never been more glad to see Scoops than right now. "Where's Becky and Tim?" Emma and Caelum bite their lips. If anyone would be able to figure it out it would be scoops.
"Hi guys," Violet says coming into the room with Tobey. "I wish Tim and Becky were here to hear this, but oh well, we're going to have a baby!" Violet says smiling. Forgetting Scoops question, Emma, Caelum, and Todd enjoy the good news with their friends. Eileen growls wondering if Emma would be next.

It was a made house as Clair led Team Alphanumeric's founding members into the courtroom. Press people kept asking questions and taking pictures of the two. Then there was the mob that was the protestors. WordGirl was quite touched that some many people had shown up to support them. Hopefully this would blow over soon.

"Tis tape has shown you all that they have done for their sense of justice." the DA states. "MathWiz's battles with MinusMan and WordGirl's battles with The Whammer have caused property damage. Not to mention the time when Mr. Big used Chuck to get a key to the city found in the basement of City Hall. The damaged was extensive! And she didn't even help to repair the damage. Plus, the beef jerky of supreme power disappeared after she and her monkey side kick stopped the Butcher. None of these facts can be disputed. It is obvious that they don't care about how they catch the bad guy just as long as they do."
"Your honor," Clair begins. "These two between then have over ninety keys to cities they've saved. Together, they've saved this city more times than most of us here in this court room can count. They even saved the planet one time from being destroyed by their races."
"How do we know those planets actually exists? These two might just be failed experiments of the federal government."
"I object to my colleague's statement." Clair retorts.
"Sustained. You'll not speculate in my courtroom." the judge states.
"All my colleague is trying to do is twist the facts. These two are heroes. They don't deserve to be treated like the villains they have fought against." Clair finishes.
"And I maintain that they are just as harmful to the city as the villains they fight." the DA states.
"Ok, I've heard enough. I shall now consider this. Court is adjourned until nine o-clock tomorrow morning." the judge says and slams his gavel down. Clair sighs to herself. The judge was going to take his time to think it over. That in the long run was a good thing.

Dinner was a quiet affair that night. Then the doorbell rings. Clair gets up to answer it to see someone she thought wouldn't ever show up.
"Clair?"
"Mother? What are you doing here?"
"You were right. I was being an old, stubborn woman. The more I thought about it the more I realized I was behaving just like my mother." Miranda says. Sally now comes over and listens as well.
"Then what are you...,?" Clair asks.
"I need to apologize to you, my grand children, and my great grandchild. I behaved exactly like someone I'd never wanted to. Never get like me Clair." she adds and Clair smiles and hugs her mother. Carina comes flying out and Miranda catches her in a hug as well.
"I'm sorry darling, I'm just and old woman that needs to change with the times." Miranda says to Carina who smiles and continues to hug her great grandmother. "Becky, Tim, I'm going to spoil this one rotten." she says which gets Clair chuckling and then in a minute everyone was laughing. The rest of the night became a family celebration. The families were now finally one.
