The two sit on the bed not saying much to each other. Their training was at a stand still due to the fact that they couldn't match the teamwork of Fire and Ice. The power was their, but comparatively speaking, Fire and Ice were a million miles ahead of Becky and Tim when it came to the teamwork department. Oh sure, one could argue that Fire and Ice were far older than Becky and Tim, but because Chaos was looming over them on the moon, they didn't have the luxury of time.
"I think we need to talk." Tim begins quietly. Carina was off with her uncle and aunt so that the pair would have a chance to have this long talk.
"Are we just out classed?" Becky asks.
"Without the Heart of Knowledge, yes, but with it we are just as good as Fire and Ice. It seems that no matter how much we've grown as a team and as a couple our differences, don't seem to fully mesh together. You dodge better than I do, but that's because I've used my reflectors for so long. I've cut back on that, but I still lean on them a lot. You wait most of the time until the criminal makes a move. I'm good at striking preemptively." Tim explains. She smiles at the use of the word 'preemptively'. "But none of that means that we suck as a team."
"Then, what do we do?" Becky asks.
"I think I may have an idea. C'mon, let's go to professor Tubing's lab." Tim states and takes Becky by the hand.

"Now where did those two disappear off to?" Emma asks.
"Don't know, but they've been gone for most of the day now." Caelum states.
"Heroes of Earth!"
"Uh oh," Both Emma and Caelum say together. Chaos was making a planet wide announcement to get their attention.
"I tire of playing with Team Alphanumeric, their underlings and especially you, Fire and Ice! If the lot of you have the guts, come up to the moon castle and fight me. If you don't, I shall send my entire army down to overwhelm your precious little planet. II doubt you can handle the billions of soldiers I can call forth! You've got one standard Earth day to decide what you will do." Chaos announces.
"C'mon, I think I might know where they've gone." Caelum states.
"What do we do about...?" Emma asks and motions towards Carina who was watching TV.
"Bring her along." Caelum states.

Six heroes meet outside of professor Tubing's lab. They all knew what was now at stake.
"You heard right?" Caelum asks.
"Then entire planet heard that fool." Fire rants seeing a child was within hearing distance so he toned down his language. "Can the two of you fly in space?"
"No, we're not at your level." WordGirl states.
"I mean with the Heart of Knowledge." Fire states.
"Never tried it." MathWiz states.
"Then now is as good of a time to test it." Ice states.
"We're coming as well. We won't fight Chaos, but you'll have to fight your way through foot soldiers." Emma states.
"Carina, go into the professor's lab and stay there." WordGirl says.
"Awe mom, I can fight the bad guys too." Carina complains.
"This ought to be interesting...,having an argument with a two year old." Caelum states.
"Oh Carina," professor Tubing calls out, "I've got some new toys for you to try."
"Toys...,yay!" Carina exclaims and flies into the lab. WordGirl gives the professor a thumbs up and he nods and heads inside.
"We've never tried carrying someone while flying through vacuumed of space." Ice states.
"well, as Fire Said, then now is as good of a time to test it." Caelum states. WordGirl and MathWiz link hands after putting on the necklaces.
"Team Alphanumeric!" they shout and the golden glow surrounds them, brighter than ever.
"Let's go!" Fire states as his element swirls around him and Caelum and Ice's does the same thing with Emma and the six head for the moon.

'So, they are coming.' Chaos muses seeing the little blue, red, and gold lights leaving Earth's atmosphere. He smirks to himself and readies a good number of his troops to greet them at the front door.

"How many do you think he's got in this room!?" Caelum asks as the six fight their way through the entrance hall of Chaos's castle.
"I think he's gotten at least five hundred to block our path!" Ice replies.
"Only that many?" Fire replies.

'Only that many...,Fire your ego has always gotten in the way.' Chaos thinks watching the fight as he sits on his black throne. Soon, this would all end.

"What are mama and daddy doing?" Carina asks.
"Well, Chaos has challenged your parents to a final fight." Tubing explains.
"My mama and daddy can win, right?"
"After what they showed me while they were here for most of today, I think your parents have a very good chance of finishing off Chaos." Tubing replies.
"Can we watch?"
"I wish we could." Tubing says sadly.

"Darn it! We can waste our powers on countless minions!" WordGirl shouts.
"Then don't! We'll give you an opening to run through. You go deal with Chaos, we'll handle these fools." Fire states.
"Are you sure?" MathWiz states.
"This is your world to protect, we're just the supporting cast." Ice says and the two elementals carve a path that Team Alphanumeric quickly dash down and head for the throne room.
'Good luck you two.' Caelum thinks.

"I see you left your friends behind to do battle with me. You're either brave or stupid." Chaos taunts.
"You are a vile creature. You destroy just for fun. You turned a whole planet against its heroes. We're not going to let you continue your reign of terror in our galaxy." WordGirl growls.
"Oh, I've heard similar words from similar heroes in the past. Do you want to know why Fire and Ice hate me so? I'll tell you. I destroyed their home planet. For years those two have planet hopped becoming the saviors wherever they go. I decided to turn their last new home against them. They certainly did my job pretty well, didn't they>? Enough chit chat...,let's begin." Chaos states and throws an energy blast at the pair.
