"Look," Axl begins seeing that Trent's female companion was out of ear shot, "I've never seen two people get that stupid while holding hands. And tell the truth, she wasn't 18, was she?"
"Uhhh," Trent says trying to find a way out of this situation but failing miserably.
"That's what I thought. How old is she and are you going to date her?" Axl continues to question.
"Errr...,well, she's still in high school...,"
Axl rolls his eyes at him. "You better let her know that crushing on you is a waist of time then."
"What?" Trent asks in shock.
"You are oblivious aren't you. The only reason that you were able to get a hole on her is because she'll do almost anything as long as your near her."
Trent lowers his head in real thought. "She's only 16."
"So? The girl has an attitude of an adult who's parents can't understand her. Besides, date her for two years and then shag her if you've still got the urge, bloody moron." Axl says getting frustrated with the Lane. "Either that or let her down very gently."
"She doesn't have that much experience does she." Trent says more as a statement of fact than a question.
"Nah, that's why she hasn't told you yet."
"Maybe I ought to try...,I could do worse."
"Yeah, like that one that walked in." Axl states.
"Monique...,we're like oil and water, we can't mix."
"So, what are you going to do about the red head?"
"Hmmmm, no harm in testing the waters."

It had been a pleasant shock when Trent had asked her to go get some pizza. Wanting not to end this excursion, she had readily agreed.
"What did Axl want to talk to you about?" Daria asks.
"He let me know I was being oblivious to something important."
"What was that?"
"Someone who was crushing on me. Someone who's too shy to tell me. Someone...," he continues and sits beside her, "who'd cool enough to date if she really can see past my flaws."

"Who's that guy with Daria?" Mac asks as he and Jodie watch the scene from across the Pizza King.
"Don't know, but he certainly know how to fluster her." Jodie comments. Then the two see Daria and walk out hand and hand.

I'm sorry for not updating this collection like I used to. Team Alphanumeric and The Snow White Queen are taking up all my creative juices. I suggest reading those stories. Team Alphanumeric can be found in the cartoons section of my profile, and Snow White Queen is in the Harry Potter section. I also apologize for the shortness of this one, but I believed that this was originally going to be a collection of drabbles and one shots.
