Hun, if my only interest was Karis, I wouldn't be reading this. I wouldnt put out the effort to read a story I didn't like just for one character. Which is not to say that I think he's totally hawt and droolable and will make many happy fangirl squee's when he does play his part. ^_^
But really, I love reading good fanfiction, and this is a good story, its fun its interesting, it has great art and a totally yummy Dib, and the irkin smexing is very yummy. Not to mention you actually understand things like spelling, grammar and story line. Something that seems to be rare in the IV fanfic world. -_-

As for this newest chapter, much happy fan girl squee's, as promised, and the whole 'host' idea is totally awesome, and I'm thinking maybe Zim planted his 'host' in Dib for more purposes than just to have a backup plan, after all, Meg isn't quite irkin so she absorbed some of Dib's human-ness soo.... in that way, she really is their 'child'. I'd like to think that part of Zim didn't think he would get of things alive and wanted to give Dib a little bit of him, rather than doing it to be selfish and give himself a second chance like that. But thats just me. ^_^
Now waiting happily for next chappie!

(once again too lazy to get into my own account thingo)
Despite how crappy this review is gonna be, I really enjoyed this chapter ^^ Verm was adorable with the baby Meg cuddles, though the death of the Meekrob was all... vivid and stuffs. maybe it's just that word 'rip' that always makes me HEAR stuff being ripped off like a paper being torn in two XD Anyways, blast, grr at senseless violence! Still nicely done, though ^^
Aww, more Verm/Meg snuggles in current time XD They're gonna keep reading, though, right? I'm hella anxious to see how the reunion between Dib and his family peeps on Nirvana is gonna turn out, though it's obviously not gonna be pleasant ._. I'm just betting I'm gonna hate a looot of people when that come about XD

Arr, I didn't get to review chapter three, so this is for both of 'em.
Being the fan of slapstick that I am, I couldn't help but laugh when Dib zapped himself in the face and started freaking out. That was the shit. But I like that it explained the purpose of those metal bits on his face.
Your ideas for the Meekrob's city are interesting, it's a neat interpretation of the attitude that they have towards their, well, superpowers. I'm having a hard time imagining them, though. (Maybe 'cause I haven't seen the show since last June...) But they way you describe them makes them seem different from the canon Meekrob. Not sure why.
Neat fight scene, I miss readin' those. It's also nice to see some positive interaction between Dib and Vermeil. Meg and Verm's conversation was well thought out, too. Good stuff, thar, good stuff.

I really enjoyed this chapter, and I agree with that other person (again, too lazy to go look) that your writing is indeed getting better ^.^ Oh man, I can't wait until they get to Nirvana, because I just have this inkling that that's not gonna be a happy reunion of any sort. Not by Gaz's and Membrane's future bitchy-attitudes toward Dib and all that whole mess XD Whee for angsty hang-ups!

I sort of pictured something like this happening with the Dibbers @_@ Like, I wanted him to be all saved like, and be all with the mechanical arm replacement because mechanical arm replacements just pwn. I don't remember the rest of that little fantasy, though, because that was from way back when I was working that the Dollar General a year and a half ago when I first read Megami XD I do think it had something to do with more pwnage with the mean ol' humans and their mean ol' experiments on the cute little Irkens XDD Okay, I'm done being a stooge now >3

Hey... My review DID get cut off! (and at such a place, too) Hope it doesn't happen to this one. Well, I had said something to the effect that he was teh sex, I think. You know, you know. Your stories make my Dib fangirliness quadruple. I think I also wrote something about excusing my kiss-ass-ness, but that kissing ass is usually more appreciated than shitty on-liner reviews like 'kool, keep writting'. I hate those.
AAAAnyway. A review for this new chapter that made me all excited to read.
This seems like an error that I would make in Dib's situation. Like, what is it they...? 'With great power comes great responsibility'. Yeah, that one. Maybe not as grand of a scale in this case, but it still rings true. When you get used to doing something that used to be hard (say, driving) you start to forget that anything can go wrong.
Something I've been wondering... if Meekrob have no physical bodies, how oh how did Ninnehla come to be? I suppose that brings up the question: how do Meekrob reproduce? But still. I know she's not super-main-character, but will we hear anything about her past?
And you ended it on a cliff-hanger. *shakefist* Well, I shall be patient. I'm sure the next chapter will be all action-ful...ific...ish. Mmyes. *sleepy*
