Playtime With Blythe

It was a normal day at the pet shop.

Pepper Clark was doing her usual comedian routine, albeit to little applause.

"Alright everyone! My shifts over! Have a good night folks!" Blythe Baxter announced, coming out of the bathroom.

Pepper couldn't help but notice that Blythe was wearing a schoolgirl's uniform.

She wore a white buttoned shirt, a red and green plaid skirt, long white socks, black Mary-Jane shoes, and she had her hair tied up into a ponytail.

"Um... Excuse me Blythe?"

"Yes, Pepper?"

"Pardon me for asking, but why are you dressed so... Extravagantly tonight?"

"Oh. I'm... going with my new boyfriend tonight." The brunette replied, nervously.

"At a costume party?" Pepper jokingly asked.

"Um... Yeah. That's right, a costume party!"

"Oh! Can I come? Ive never been to one of those before!" Pepper replied enthusiastically.

"Well... Oh, what the hell? Sure, you can come."

"Alright! Just let me change!" Pepper replied, before racing to her room.

"Oh no, Pepper, you're fine! You don't have to..."

Too late. The skunk had already stepped out, wearing a princess outfit.

"Wear a costume." Blythe finished, with a look of annoyance on her face.

"Come on! I got it as a gift from my owner last week! I might as well try it out."

"Fine." Blythe replied, as she picked the skunk up, left a note for her owners, and headed off.
