Tenderness

 

 

Leo left his home....trying to cool off after another argument with his hot headed brother.

 

Normally they would get in it, physical, but Raphael was severely injured after a battle with a new order of the foot.........now under Dejin, the Shredders number two command.

Shredder was gone, so was their father Master Splinter.

Both lost their lives fighting together.

So here was Leo, roaming the sewers trying to calm his anger.

Leo above all had the most control when it came down to self control, but after losing his father.

All seem to slip through his fingers.

He did some meditation, flips, and jumps but nothing helped.

Thinking  to him self....he thought that it might help going to the surface, maybe stopping a crime....would help.

Doing good always felt good, something their father valued and  made Leo feel closer to him at heart.

He always remembered his father's wise words, "An honorable being, always stands for what is right, even when the graduated is not given."

    30 minuets later-------------

Leo reaches his favorite ally......were there were always less people........

He climbs up one of the man holes on 2nd and Raymond street, in the ally way.

First, he poked out a mirror to see if anyone was there.

They had to stay hidden....their enemies thought they all were died.

Seeing nobody, he climbs right out of sewers, then gently closes the man hole, breathing in the fresh air.

"awe.....the fresh air feels good on my face.....its hard staying underground, inhaling the ground air," Leo said softly as he stretches his arms and legs.

It is dark out, when he left the lair, it was half past 8 pm.

He could hear the roaring of cars passing the road, sound of voice in the buildings above him, a distant siren of a police car.

"What a busy city...the city were nobody sleeps.' he said to himself

All of the sudden he hears screaming, then yelling.

Sounds like a two men and a women arguing......

Women yelling......stop!!!!    Leave me alone!......don't you dear tough me......never again!

Leo looks around trying to pin point were the voice is coming from....all of the sudden he sees were.....it's on the 6 th floor of the building right behind him, but before he is able to climb up to see.

He sees a black cloak that is covering the person climb out of the window and onto the stairwell....

Leo hides behind a trash dumpster ......observing ......the person who attempts to climbs out of an open window........but before he is able to can climb down......a hand grabs the him.....yanking the person back in.......then Leo sees that the person pulls out a shiny object, but it's not clear for Leo to see what it is.......then he stabs the other persons hand and.....he falls down on the stairs.....griping it before falling over to the ally's pavement.

Leo watches.....wondering what he should do.

"Should I help," he whispers to himself

But the person quickly climbs down the stairs....almost slipping at multiple steps....

Leo sees a man climb out of the window...calling out to the person....as the man starts to follow the person.

By the name the man calls out.....he knows it's a girl......Serena.

Serena.....reaches the floor and sees the man after her.......she looks down to the man hole.....and it's her only escape.....she runs to it....desperately trying to pull it open.......it's heavy.....yet manages to pull it slide it half way, just enough for her to slip inside, before looking up at the man who is at the 2nd floor......then looks down at the dark sewers and slides in......

The man reaches the floor.....but does not go in.......Leo sees another man rushing down the stairs.......yelling to the man on the bottom....."go after her......hurry.....don't let her escape"

While climbing down...

"No way am I going down there......there are alligators in the sewers" man on ground says to other man on stairs.

"Damn......she's probably long gone now.....get the others well go down there together....."

As the man on the stairs starts to climb back up the stairs...the man on the bottom walks to the stairs and starts to climb back up as well......

Leo watches until the men are in their home....then he walks to the half covered man hold...moves it wider for him.....still watching to see if he is not being seen....then climbs down and closes it behind him......

Meanwhile......the women (Serena) is running....along the wall....sliding her hand against it so to not fall down....its dark....and she can not see were she is going....at the same time she listens for anyone fallowing....but it's hard for her to hear.....her heart is pounding so hard....she is shaky....full of adrenaline....the noise of the cars above and the dripping of water clutters the noise.......the darkness can play mean games to your mind....especially if your on the run and alone.

    about 20 minuets of her running.......

She trips on something, falling and landing on her stomach....she rest her head on her arms....and tries to calm herself down and to listen.........laying her ear on the ground, trying to hear the vibration of foot steps........of the men......with no sounds, she feels that all is safe for her to move on, but to be on the safe side since it is dark, she decides to craw on her hands and knees.

A few seconds later....while crawling on her hands and knees........ she feels water....a drain and she crawls into the.....cold.....mucky....water....she shivers at the feeling.....slowly swimming....hoping that it will lead to another safer place.....in the back of her mind.....she knows that the men will not step into the water if they were following her.....so...... in that she knew she was safe....for now at least.....

At the same time....Leo caught her vibrations....being a ninja....he could hear the slightest sound.....and distinguish it.....he also has good night vision enabling him to see in the dark....years of living down here....his eyes had adapted.

He planned on follow her....to see if she was safe.....the sewers are dangerous...

Then he spotted her in a small drain...swimming silently....then he sees that she climbs out of the drain and crawls on her hands and knees to a corner on the other side of the tunnel....were she rests her head....and stays still...

Should I approach her....Leo thought, as he creeps close to her....but not to close....crouching down watching the women at a distance......

A few minuets later....Leo noticed that women lifted her head up and sits down...leaning against the wall.....she pulls out what Leo can clearly see as a knife.....he sees that she holds it up toward her self....then he sees that she lifts up her shirt from her stomach....and takes the knife and slides it on her abs....cutting into the flesh....the women let's put a sigh of relief...as the the blood pours out.....the women slides it over another section of her stomach to cut herself.....but this time Leo decides to stop her.....

"Stop!.....don't hurt yourself".  Leo yells startling the women.

As he approaches her trying pull the knife away.

The women unable to see him....puts up a fights fearing that it is one of her captures she pushing him down trying to get back her knife and protect herself with it, killing him if she needs to.........Leo grabs her on the right shoulder and pins her to the wall.....then she loses consciousness......and Leo holds her slowly letting her lay down on the floor.

"Man....what should I do with her now.....should I bring her back to our home,"

Leo decides to take her home....he gently picks her up....and  swiftly walks home....she is wet from being in the sewer water......and he could feel the warmness of liquid pouring down his side.....it's her cut....he thought.....Donny should be able to help her.....

As Leo walks...caring her, he can only wonder why she cut herself.....why she was running away from those men......

As he arrives home....he is greeted by his younger brother Mikey.....who looks very interested with what his oldest brother brought home.

"Wow.....who is she" Mikey asked as he follows Leo who is taking her to Donny's room.

Donny was already getting the exam table ready.....he saw Leo coming 5 miles away....

Donny was always prepared with surveillance cameras for their safety....they had lost 3 other homes due to attacks from the foot....so he had to be prepared this time..

Leo laid her down on the table....while Donny exams her pulse...then shins a light at her eyes...

"she sure is out of it" Donny said.

"So what is her story?  Were did you find her" Donny asks Leo as he lifts her shirt to exam were the blood is coming from.

At the same time Donny hands Leo a towel to clean the blood of his Plastron and legs...blood from the unconscious women.

"Long story bro....she cut her self with this knife" Leo says as he shows Donny the knife.

"She did this to herself" Donny says looking shock.

"Well it looks like she has been cutting herself for some time" Donny's says as he lifts the women's shirt higher towards her covered cleavage.

Both Leo and Donny look at her wounds horrified....

She had long slash cut marks all over her stomach and side.....old cuts...some barely healing....most were 3 inches long....they looked like she was slashed by some tiger...that is how bad they looked.....Donny counted about 20 of them...

"Why would she do this to herself".  Mikey asked as he popped  out of nowhere...looking at the women.

"I'm not sure why Mikey.....but looks like she is holding in a lot of pain."     Donny replies as he starts to clean the new cut.

"Poor girl.....she looks so nice to suffer" Mikey says as he puts his hand on her forehead, gently stroking her  black curly hair out of her face.

"Hey Donny what do you think this is" Mikey says pointing to an old diamond shaped marked on her forehead and hair line.

"Hum....looks like some kind of tattoo or something not sure.....but that is not a concern right now" Donny said as he gathers his kit.

He alone.......understood how pain can tear you apart from the inside out.....how it burns deep inside as if fire is being stated and the only way to kill the fire is to hurt yourself.........

"Her name is Serena....I heard the men who were after her call her that name" Leo tells Donny.

"Serena...beautiful name for such a beautiful yet broken girl" Donny says as he starts to clean and bandage up her wound.

Hey Mikey can you get some of your cloths, the ones you use to go to the surface, a long shirt maybe shorts or something for her legs......these cloths are very wet...

Sure Donnie....but they are to big for her....Mikey replies

"No worries it's not a fashion show.....I just need something dry to cover her up" Donny tells Mikey......

"okay sounds good Donny I'll be right back" and with that Mikey runs out of the lab.

Meanwhile, Leo  helps Donny take off her wet cloak and then shirt......should we take off her bra?    Donny.......

Donny did not say a word he was dazed looking at the scars on the women's arms.....while holding her right arm Donny sadly looked over at Leo.....

"She has scars all over her arm......poor thing what horrific incidents accrued for her to do this.....if she did them to herself....or if someone has......looks like she has been tortured....years of scares.

Leo handed Donny a clean towel to dry her arms.....

"I don't know bro....but let's just clean her and make her comfortable.....at least she is safe here with us.

While Leo and Donny cleaned her top part.....Donny reluctantly removes her bra...being so wet.....and covers her with a towel......Mikey arrives with a basket full of cloths...

"Sorry man....I could not choose...........so I decided to bring them all".  Looking at his brothers with a sweet smile.

Leo looks at the cloths and pulls out some sweets and a long sleeve shirt.....

Then he starts helps Donny remove her wet jeans......but stops....

"Um.....should we removed her underpants too?

They are wet?       Leo says to Donny

"Ya....otherwise there is no point in changing her right?"  Donny says

Leo then starts to remove her underpants, while Donny lifted her butt a bit......Leo slid his hand down between her thighs as he lowered her underpants.........bring shivers of excitement with the touch of her warm thighs.  Leo looked up at Donny who noticed Leo's excitement. 

"Leo...chill....if you can not do this then leave......"

"No im sorry im okay.....lets get this done...."

All three of them looked at each other then the women's legs..........

Apart from all the cut marks on her arms and stomach, she had lots of burn marks and cut marks on her outer thigh........

Mikey could not help himself but let out a tear of sadness.

Why would someone heart her so badly Donny....as Mikey looks over at Leo.

Humans can be more animals then animals itself Mikey, Leo told him, but she is safe with us.....we will do our best to heal her outside.....inside is a different story......she might be beyond our help there......

"Some of these marks look like they are self inflicted," Donny tells his brothers......

"What do you mean," Mikey asked

"looks like she has done some of them herself, maybe a way to subdue her pain..........however........the burn marks on her arms and the marks on her back looks like someone has done them to her,"  Donny says

Mikey sighs and gently rubbed the women's head in a caring sympathetic manner.......

With the help of Mikey....all three change the young women.

Then Donny gently lifts the women up and walks over to his bed and lays her down...and covers her up.

"I'll keep first watch okay Leo, you guys go get some rest, Serena is heavily sedated, she would not wake up for some time." Donny said.

Great thanks Donny.......Leo says as he takes one more look at the sleeping beauty.......then wakes out of the lab.....but before closing the door, he looks at Donny......

"Goodnight Donatello" then turns and closes the door behind him......leaving Donny alone with the young women.
