I own nothing in this story. Daria belongs to MTV and Viacom. Oh wait, I do own Daric and Angel. This starts just before our favorite duo start their senior year. that means that the events of IIFY have happened except for those scenes that take plaice at the end of the movie at LHS. Hopefully I'll be able to thread original plot with certain episode plots. That's why this isn't apart of the DT Files. It's not based on an episode nor either movie. This discards all of season five, and IICY. Enough babbling, on with the fic!

"Moooom! Do we really have to wear these ugly uniforms?" Quinn complains looking at the school uniforms in the box.
"Unfortunately...,if I ever get my chance to..." Helen Morgandorffer says fuming at Ms. Li's apparent changes to the school that the school bored had unanimously adopted because of that tyrant's bullying. "You girls arranged for your rides since I know neither of you want to ride the bus together?"
"Yeah, I'll be getting a ride from one of my many admirers." Quinn answers.
"You mean your male slaves?" Daria asks.
"Oh ha-ha Daria. Tom giving you your ride to school or will you have to ride the bus?" Quinn asks.
"Actually, Jane is arranging our transportation to our prison." Daria replies.
"Go try them on girls. If they don't fit I'll make sure Ms. Li gets the right size." Helen states. The two leave to go upstairs and come back ten minutes later. The shirts were blue and the skirts were similar to the cheerleader uniform with the exception that they were solid yellow instead of having the blue stripes. Quinn seemed fine in her uniform, but Daria was quite uncomfortable in hers.
"I know I've got hot legs, but guys don't need to see them with goose bumps when it gets cold." Quinn complains.
"The shirt's too tight." Daria states.
"That's because you wear shirts that hide those." Quinn answers.
"Yeah, well I don't need the idiots of our prison to be drooling over me because of my chest." Daria retorts.
"I'll see what I can do about the shirt Daria, and if you don't have a long coat in that closet of yours we'll get you one Quinn."
***
"If you don't stop laughing and get your ass out of bed I'll make sure you can't play guitar ever again." Jane growls at her brother.
"Alright, I'm up. Why are they making everyone who doesn't have a ride to and from school ride the bus anyway?" Trent asks.
"Something about Li getting more money. C'mon, we've got to pick up Daria."
***
He tries to keep his eyes open as he waits for Jane to retrieve Daria. He sees the two girls heading for the car. It had been funny to see Janie in her uniform, but seeing Daria was stirring something in his lower extremities.
'Why did I say 'yes' to that stupid project? That was my first mess up, my second was letting Tom get too close too Daria. If he hurts her...,'
"Ok, get this jalopy rolling. You can sleep when you get back home." Jane says after Daria gets in the car. Trent shakes his head and the Plymouth gets rolling again.

A black Jaguar XF(1) smoothly navigates the turns of Lawndale. The superior sound system blares out Within Temptation's The Heart of Everything. Daric smiles hearing Angel singing along with Sharon Den Adel. The songs fades the moment Daric pulls into a driveway.
"Looks like they're here. Let's go reclaim our spots." Daric states.
"This dark day has been coming for some time." Angel states as she follows her boyfriend into the Lane house.

"I'm telling you that your base playing sucks." Max says to Nick.
"No, it's your drumming that sucks." Nick counters. Trent rolls his eyes while Jessie puts his guitar down and waits for the fireworks to begin.
"How can you tell if my drumming sucks anyway? Your bad base playing drowns everything else out." Max shoots back.
"Well if you were able to keep a beat...," Nick says getting louder.
"Gentlemen, the question isn't whether one of you suck...,because both of you do, but which one of you sucks less." Daric says coming down the basement stairs. Trent and Jessie start laughing.
"Oh shit...," Max says in awe.
"Well, look who drug himself out from the college rock he was under." Jessie says and slaps Daric on the back.
"Hmmmm, that college rock was much larger and heavier than the LHS rock, and more expensive." Daric quips and the three laugh while Nick still had his mouth open in shock.
"So, what ya doing back in Lawndale anyway? I thought your father wanted you to be a lawyer?" Trent asks.
"I have too much of a soul to be one of the soulless." Daric answers.
"Doubt you still can play though." Nick states glaring at Daric.
"Then I accept your challenge." Daric says smirking.. Which song shall we do?"
"Uh...,"
"C'mon, I'm letting you choose the song. You might pick one I'm not good at."
"Uh...," Nick replies again.
"Alright, then Trent will decide the song." Daric says. Trent thinks for a moment and then he smiles.
"Bell(2)." Trent states.
"Bell?! Why that one?" Nick complains. "We don't do their songs."
"Wanna try Orion(3) then?" Trent asks.
"Hell no! Alright, Bell it is." Nick says realizing that he probably wasn't going to beat Daric when the song was one of Metallica's.

She glares at the uniform laying on her bed. Daria's first day back was more annoying than usual. It seemed that those who couldn't get even a glimpse at her perky sister were looking at the newly displayed merchandise that the other Morgandorffer sister had. She was hoping that if she glared at the thing long enough it would spontaneously burst into flames. She had been so upset that she didn't notice the conversation between Jane and Trent about some old base player coming back and making Nick look like a novice, which was something that was quite easily done. Seeing no fire where the uniform laid, she folds it up and stuffs it into a drawer. She checks the time and goes over to her phone. Hopefully Tom wouldn't want to see her in it.
***
"So, how long will he chase her around anyway?" Daric asks Trent as the two boys and Angel sit in Trent's room as Jessie chases the still school uniformed clad Jane around the house.
"Probably once he catches her. Jess has been trying to think of a way to get back into Jane's good graces. Had to stop him from beating up Janie's last boyfriend when the power went out in that new warehouse store." Trent relays.
"Oh that must have been fun." Daric says with a smirk.
"Here," Trent says handing Daric a notebook, "that's all of the good lyrics I've written since you left."
"Good lyrics? That must mean there must be a shit load of bad ones then." Daric replies looking at the contents.
"Our next gig is next week...,think we can be ready to sound like ourselves again?" Trent asks.
"That depends if we can change the 'k' to a 'c' in Mystik." Daric states.
"damn. That's why that word never looked write." Trent comments.
"I won't hold it against you. The Lawndale educational system is to blame." Daric says and shuts the notebook.
***
"Why am I the defacto leader of this union anyway?" Mr. DeMartino asks.
"I would be the leader, but someone here thinks I would fold under Ms. Li's authority like a lawn chair." Ms. Bartch says glaring at Ms. Defoe.
"Now let's not start fighting amongst ourselves...," Mr. O'Neill placates, "We need to show a unified front or Ms. Li won't allow us to have what we want."
"Then I suggest that you prepare to go on strike then. That tyrant that is our boss won't give in so easily." Mr. DeMartino spits out.
***
'Great, three weeks in and look what's happened. All the students have to wear these stupid uniforms and now the teachers are on strike.' Daria thinks as the old woman at the front of the class writes her name on the chalkboard.
"I am Mrs. Stoller. As you can tell I'm not your normal teacher." she announces to the class as if they were 1st graders instead of seniors in high school.
"Unfortunately, these are the normal students." Daria quips.
"Now, there will be no sarcastic remarks made in this classroom." Mrs. Stoller says.
'Uh oh, those are fighting words.' Jodie thinks.
"Look, neither of us want to be here. We both have to be here because of that Hitler for a principal. So it would be in both our interests if you talk to us like we were eighteen instead of eight." Daria suggests.
"I think someone needs a time out in the corner." Mrs. Stoller replies.
"How about this," Daria starts to say and stands up, "I leave." and she marches out the door. Jodie and Mac turn to Jane.
"It's that uniform. She's being stared at by those who can't get a glimpse of Quinn. It's pushing her to the breaking point." Jane explains.
"Is it going to get worse?" Jodie asks.
"Oh much worse...,for Li." Jane says smirking.
***
Three days later finds Daria sitting in Ms. Li's office.
"Let me get this straight...,You want me to teach O'Neill's class? Would this have anything to do with the fact that it was my mother who blew the whistle on the one you had gotten to teach in the first place?" Daria asks.
"Do you think that I'm that petty? Besides, your behavior in Mrs. Stoller's class is...,"
"Fine, I'll teach the class, but I better be excused from all other classes, including gym."
"Done. You're easier to negotiate with than those fools outside the school."
***
The next day, the junior English Literature class was waiting on their teacher, but most were hoping that there would be no teacher. Then the class goes silent as Ms. Li along with Daria come into the room.
"Class, since I cannot find a competent teacher to teach you, I've found the most competent student that I could find at a very reduced cost. They're all yours." Ms. Li states and quickly leaves the room. Daria rolls her eyes and starts rummaging through O'Neill's desk. She finds the lesson plan and rolls her eyes.
"According to this you are reading Romeo and Juliet. Unfortunately, that was O'Neill's plan. If I have to baby sit...,I mean teach this class then I'm going to pick the play." Daria states.
"And just why do we have to be taught by a four eyed brain like you?" sandy asks haughtily.
"Well, I guess we need to clear the air right now. I know exactly why you had quickly let my sister...,yes I said 'sister...,in to your club of shallowness. Quinn by herself could rule this school with her popularity. She doesn't need you to boost her status, but you needed to neutralize a threat to your own popularity. Quinn doesn't need the Fashion Club, but you need her."
"What...,that's ridiculous!" Sandy shouts.
"Your reaction to my statement is proof enough, but let's take a survey. All those of the male gender...,that is if you are a boy...,would you still go out with Quinn if she weren't apart of the Fashion Club?" she asks and all of the boys raise their hands. "I thought so. Now, we will be reading Much ado About Nothing(4). And there will be no snide comments about the character of Beatrice. And if there is, you'll have to write a paper on her character."
***
"Y'know, you're putting a lot of work into something you were forced into." Tom comments as the two sit in Daria's room.
"If I must be tortured, then so must be the rest of the masses as well." Daria replies.
"Guess i better brush up on my Shakespearean English then. So, when can I see the monstrosity they are making you wear?"
"When can I drive your car?" Daria quips back. Tom bites his lip and says nothing more.
***
"You're teaching Quinn's class?" Helen asks at dinner later that night.
"It's the price you pay for getting rid of that pedophile." Daria retorts.
"I guess we won't have any trouble setting up parent teacher conferences huh kiddo?" Jake asks smiling.
"Daaaad!" Quinn whines.
"I suggest you focus on reading Act I of Much ado About Nothing, I'm going to grill the class about it and I will grade everyone's in class participation." Daria states picking at the unknown food that her father had prepared.
"Moooom!" Quinn cries.
"Now Quinn, Daria's being fair under the circumstances. Besides, Mr. O'Neill is a wet blanket. Your class might benefit from a stricter teacher. And Daria, don't turn this into another opportunity to embarrass your sister." Helen says.
"Don't worry mom, I'm only going to be hard on her because I know that somewhere she's got potential." Daria replies. Helen smiles at her daughter's answer.
***
"Look, you can't...,can't...,scare me by threatening to picket naked." a tired Ms. Li states.
"This is Good Will polyester I'm sweating in. I want to picket naked." Mr. DeMartino loudly replies.
"You don't have the guts. Besides, Ms. Bartch won't do that." Ms. Li replies.
"Not if DeFoe and Bennett strip her." Mr. deMartino says smirking evilly.
"Just why are you their leader anyway?" Ms. Li asks.
"I was voted their leader." Mr. DeMartino retorts getting annoyed at Li's apparent stall tactic.
"And Bartch let that happened?"
"She had no choice! I seem to have a very good ally in Claire."
"I wonder how good." Ms. Li says under her breath.
***
"People of Mars...,I mean students of Lawndale High. This is your leader...,I mean principal. The strike is over!" Li announces over the intercom two weeks later.
***
'Much ado About Nothing? That wasn't the play...,oh dear, Ms. Li had Daria teach the class. Hey, no one failed. Everyone passed the test. How did she do that?' Mr. O'Neill thinks looking over his grade book. 'I wonder if she'd want to...,nah, better not ask.'
***
"Did you actually threaten to have us picket naked?" Ms. Defoe asks Mr. DeMartino as the two teachers make their way out of LHS.
"I most certainly did. Don't know how we would have gotten that battle axe...,I mean Ms. Bartch out of her clothes.
"I doubt anyone would have wanted to see that rash of hers." Claire says and Anthony chuckles. "By the way, two old students helped Timothy come up with lyrics for a strike song."
"Who?"
"Trent Lane and Daric Lynn."
"Lynn?
"Yes. Y'know, Lane and Lynn remind me of a current pair of students that go to LHS."
"Hah, Daria is a female version of Lynn and Trent and Jane were the best Lanes that went here." Mr. DeMartino states.
"Does Ms. Li know about...,"
"She has her suspicions, but she can't prove anything about the two of us."

It was now late October. Mystic Spiral had now become the most popular act in town, but that wasn't saying too much. Although, they did pack both the Zen and McGrundies every night they played. Tonight was no exception. The return of Daric and Angel to the band had re-energized Trent. Currently, the band was at the bar taking a break between sets.
"Uh oh, guy in shades coming this way." Jessie states.
"I'll handle this." Daric states. "Can I help you?"
"I'm representing a bunch of unsigned bands. We've gotten together and are touring up and down New England. What I've heard tonight would be a very good edition to our line up."
"Interesting...,let's discuss it further over here." Daric states and leads the guy out a side door.
***
"Alright, what was up with that guy you were talking to?" Max asks as the band sits down in the basement.
"We need to quicken our plans on refurbishing the tank. That guy is one of several that represent a bunch of unsigned bands. They are going to tour during the early winter months. They start in Hartford in mid November. We would be back in time for Christmas and then play a few more dates up to New Year's." Daric explains.
"Think we can do it?" Trent asks.
"To get that van fixed we'll need to focus on it more and less on the music." Daric explains. "But, I think we can do it."
"Max?" Trent asks.
"Let's get the tank fixed." Max states with a smirk on his face.
***
"Stupid car, doesn't have heat. Ya think Trent would notice if we were to trade it in?" Jane asks as she drives.
"You'd only get fifty bucks to not trade it in." Daria replies.
"Yeah. Damn uniforms. What, does Li want us to get the flu?" Jane complains.
"It would be the easiest way to get rid of those students that are a threat to her dictatorship. When are they coming back to Lawndale?"
"They'll make a stop here to pick me up for the rest of the tour on the day we get out for the winter break." Jane answers.
"You must stay near your male concubine?"
"He gets lost without me. I don't know what I was thinking dumping him."
"You wanted someone that could have an intelligent conversation with you."
"Yeah, ya think I wanted to date you." Jane says with a smirk and Daria rolls her eyes.
"Think there's room for one more?"
"You wanna tag along?"
"I've got to get out of this town. Li has pushed my buttons too much this semester. If I don't get away for a while then I might get myself suspended or expelled. And I don't want to give Li that satisfaction."
***
The Lane house was a bustle of people getting clothes washed and guitars re-stringed. Making sure everyone stayed on time was Daric.
"Hey Trent!" Jessie calls from upstairs, "There are two bags on Janie's bed!"
"Hold on!" Trent says finishing re-stringing his electric guitar. He heads up the stairs and into Jane's room. He sees a note on Jane's nightstand, and after reading it Trent smirks.
"Looks like Daria's coming with us." Trent states.
"Hey Trent!" Daric calls up from the stairs, "Where's little Lane at?! School let out fifteen minutes ago!"
"She probably had to let Daria change out of her uniform! She'll be coming with us!" Trent shouts back. "My Guitar is ready to be loaded back in the tank!"
"Right, I've got it!" Daric shouts back and retrieves Trent's guitar.
"You get Janie's bag, I've got Daria's." Trent says and he and Jessie leave Jane's room.
***
"Took you long enough." Daric comments as Jane gets out of Trent's car.
"Hey, the way you drive fifteen minutes is nothing." Jane shoots back. Hey Trent, catch!" she says and tosses his keys at him. Trent catches them.
"Who's driving?" Jessie asks.
"Trent did the last six hours of driving, so it's my turn." Daric says and climbs into the driver's seat. Angel quickly takes shotgun while Jessie, Jane and Max take the middle row of seats while Trent and Daria take the last row of seats.
"Can he drive a van?" Daria asks.
"Yeah. So, how did you get your mother to let you come with us?" Trent says leaning back in his seat as the tank gets onto the highway.
"I informed my mother that I was going to be unbearable to live with over the holiday. Plus, I finally made it perfectly clear that I'm not having or have had sex with Tom."
"Uh, why...?"
"I believe that she's afraid that somehow me having sex will give Quinn the idea that physical contact with a guy isn't all that bad and she'll start sleeping around with every guy in school."
"Your mom is crazy."
"That's what I've been trying to tell those nice men in lab coats for years." Daria says and Trent laughs and stifles a coughing fit.
"At least you have the effect of making both me and Tom stupid."
"I think I know what stupid thing you're referring to with Tom, but what stupid thing did you do?"
"Saying 'yes' to that damned school project. Had Janie asked I probably would have said 'no'."
"Why would that matter?"
"I'd probably do anything if you asked me to do it."
"You knew...,didn't you?" Daria says turning her face away from Trent for fear of him seeing her blush. "You knew just like you knew that Tom was getting interested in me."
"I did. I didn't like the way Janie played with those feelings though. Wait, was it her idea to ask in the first place?"
"Yes." she quietly replies.
"Younger sisters are too much work to deal with."
"I tend to agree." Daria replies.
"Come to think about it, I made two mistakes, the second was letting Tom get too close to you."
"You seemed to think that I was too young for you."
"It wasn't your age I was worried about as much as it was your mother. Either she didn't like the fact that I'm in a band, or she could tell you had some sort of feelings for me and thought she could either try to make me improve myself for your sake or try to show that I was no good for you."
"None of those outcomes would've surprised me. So it wasn't the fact that I was seventeen, but it was my...,"
"Wait, you were seventeen at the time I stayed at your place?"
"Yeah. You didn't know?"
"Didn't think to ask. I thought you were sixteen and had been skipped a grade."
"My mom would have a fit had I skipped a grade during elementary school. At times though I thought I was turning into Quinn. I had never had a crush before and I didn't know how to deal with it."
"You'll never turn into your sister. You're too cool for that."
"Um, thanks. Gawd, you make me stupid too you know."
"Really?"
"Yes. You were the one to convince me to get a piercing. That was the first stupid thing I've ever done because a guy convinced me to do it. In the beginning I tried to watch what I said to you. I didn't know if you could tell if I were being sarcastic or not."
"Glad you got over that."
"Me too."
***
The group had been on the road for several hours. Daric had pulled into a rest stop and was meeting with other members of the other bands to plan out the route to the next gig. Jessie and Jane had vanished off to do things only they knew, and Max was looking over the tank. Daria and Trent were hanging around the vending machines.
"Why did you let him kiss you?" Trent asks.
"I really don't know. I think I wasn't thinking at the time. Had I, I would have not gotten into that car."
"He shouldn't have done that. Karma will come back to haunt him."
"The universe will make his life a living hell eventually. The universe already owes me big time anyway."
"Then...," he says and leans down and kisses her on the lips.
'Not again! Wait...,this isn't exactly like kissing Tom. I'm doing the betraying this time. Damn it, nothing but drama. This would be just as bad of a start as I had with Tom. Problem is that I couldn't completely purge those feelings I still have for Trent.' These thoughts only take a matter of seconds to run through Daria's head. While her logical mind was dealing with what Trent was doing, the part of her that was Barksdale was quite stimulated and wanted more of the stimulation when Trent pulls away from her lips.
"Why?" she breathes out.
"Trying to steel you away from Tom."
"Aren't you worried that another guy will kiss me to take me away from you?"
"Nah, they'll have to do more than just kiss you." he replies stroking the side of her face.
***
All but two people were asleep in the somewhat crowded hotel room. Trent and Daria were on the floor sharing an inflatable mattress. It wasn't the fact that they couldn't sleep that kept them up, it was the fact that they didn't want to sleep. Quiet sighs of pleasure come from the auburn haired girl as their making out turned into Trent teasing her nipple through the fabric of her night shirt and bra. The shirt and bra were quickly disposed of and Trent's mouth replaces his teasing hands. Her eyes roll to the back of her head as she feels warmth building between her legs. Trent feels her grinding up into his growing erection.
"I guess I don't have to ask what you want?" Trent teases. In response, Daria flips them over and she kicks off her shorts and panties. Seeing the hard long thing in Trent's boxers that she wanted, she tugs the offending garment off with help from Trent. His lust filled mind doesn't allow him to see that her eyes were now slits and catlike. She purrs at her new toy. She lifts herself up to position her self for penetration. "Careful, it'll hurt first." Trent warns.
"I know." she says in a husky voice. She grabs his shoulders and impales herself onto his cock. Trent groans in pleasure feeling her tight walls squeezing him. He'd had anal sex before, but he had never had access to the front door. He had for some reason or another abstained from any sort of activity with Monique. His thoughts are brought quickly back to the task at hand as Daria's riding was demanding of him to orgasm. He bit his lip and focused on lyrics, the route to the gig, anything to not cum too quickly. He hears a sharp gasp and a loud purr as he feels her pussy start milking him. Now it was Trent's eyes rolling into the back of his head as his cock starts covering her walls with his seed.
'Why didn't you believe our aunt?'
'It sounded too weird to be true, and I live in Lawndale. Your a horny thing aren't you?'
'It's part of the Barksdale curse.'
"Our ancestor must have pissed someone powerful off then.'
"Mrow, stupid self centered shallow fool. Now, will you stay with that rich boy, or have you been convinced otherwise?'
'How long will I have to share my head?'
'For the rest of our lives.'

"Me too."
