Lena loved her brother. She loved him very much. She loved him more than she should have. Sure he was klutzy, arrogant, and childish. That’s what she loved about him, and only qualities of that nature. That’s what she told herself. She loved other things about her brother, too. Things she knew she shouldn’t love about her brother, she found herself loving about her brother. Love, brother, should, not. Her thoughts were occupied by conjuring that based themselves on those words. She shouldn’t love those things about her brother, but she did.
