((First. Fic. EVAR! I hope the OC warning doesn't turn too many people off. :) Anyway, please read and review, and try not to tear me too many new ones. Hope you like!))

An uproarious growl resounded against the walls of the Condor. That was Junko's stomach. "I'm hungryyyy." He whined.
"Well, maybe if you hadn't cleaned out the pantry TWO HOURS AGO, we wouldn't have that problem." That would be Stork, the biggest pessimist in all of Atmos. He was currently guiding the Condor across the endless skies of Atmos, just as he did every other day before. Today, however, was different in that he had to deal with a hungry Junko on top of everything else. The Wallop had stomped onto the bridge and started complaining to the carrier pilot, as though he could solve all the problems of the world.
"But I was hungry then, too." Junko replied, like the answer was obvious. Stork's eye twitched.
The door hissed open. On the other side was Aerrow, the young and charismatic leader of the Storm Hawks. "Stork, did we blow a gasket or something? I just felt the entire ship vibrate."
Stork turned from the controls to address his boss, "That was Junko. He's eaten all the food on the ship, and he's hungry again." Junko just looked sheepish.
"Well then, we need to resupply." Aerrow replied, "Where's the nearest port?"
Stork shook his head, "Unfortunately, we left Terra Atmosa at least five days ago, and there's no other major terra around here." His eyes narrowed, "We'd starve long before we got anywhere. We'll probably have to resort to cannibalism to survive." His eyes strayed to Junko, who started fidgeting nervously.
"Not necessarily." Piper had been listening in from across the room. She looked up from the sky-chart she had been studying, "According to this, there's a small farming village on a terra not far from here. Terra Palos. If we make a stop there, we should be able to buy enough food to make it back to one of the Major ports."
Aerrow smiled at his navigator. He knew he could always count on her. She smiled back, a tad more softly.
Stork rolled his eyes, "Great. Here's hoping they have enough. It's bad enough Junko's eating just us out of house and home."
Aerrow looked over to the Wallop, "Junko, go tell Finn we're making an unscheduled stop."
Stork turned back to the controls and banked the Condor to starboard.
