Legalities & Warnings

The following story is based upon characters and places own by Viacom and MTV. Daric Lynn is mine and can't be used unless permission has been given. This takes place just after episode 513...I hate seasons 4-5, but I seem to keep writing stories in that time frame. Trent/Daria, Daric/Angel, and probably Jessie/Jane. I give no guarantees that all three couples will have a sex scene. Any music that happens to be mentioned isn't mine either. Only the plot is mine, I think...and the title is a play on the Papa Roach song, 'To Be Loved'. This will ignore everything that happened in Is it College Yet.

***

It had been a long time, too long of a time according to him. The streets of Lawndale hadn't changed since the last time he'd been here. Daric Lynn, twenty-five years of age, had returned to his hometown. He didn't care for the place too much, but the place did have one redeeming quality, the band he joined about seven years ago still played here. He made a promise to Trent, Jessie and Max that he would return to take his spot back and he was going to fulfill that promise.
'There it is, the place hasn't changed much.' Daric thinks to himself as he pulls in to the Lane's driveway. As Metallica's 'Harvester of Sorrow' ends, Daric parks his black Jag and gets out of the car. Knowing that the door is unlocked he goes in and finds the place to be dark and quiet. He lays back on the couch and waits to see if anyone would show up. About ten minutes later, he sees a just woken up Trent coming down the stairs. Knowing Trent like he does he allows him to go to the kitchen to fix that cup of coffee that seems to wake any sleepy member of the Lane family. Daric stands up and heads towards where Trent had just went to, and waited at the doorway. Once Trent gets his shot of caffeine he becomes more aware of his surroundings and notices the older boy standing outside of the kitchen.
"Daric?"
"Yeah, am I allowed back in? Or did you and the others attempt to kill each other?"
Trent goes into his fit of coughing and laughing at the same time bit. Once he recovers he manages to say, "You couldn't have come back at a better time."
"Good, now, feast your eyes on this." Daric says and pulls out what appears to be a burnt CD, but instead of the gold label there was a white label with a purple spiral design on it. When Trent read it his eyes bugged out for a bit.
"Is this..."
"Yep, our demo tape is now a demo CD."
"I'll get Max and Jessie over here and we'll listen to it."
"Are we going to play as well?"
"Yeah,"
"Should I get my four or my five string bass?"
"You got a five string bass?" Trent asks intrigued at Daric's new instrument.
"Yep, even got a new four string electric and a four string acoustic as well."
"Get the five string."

***

It took about thirty minutes for the remaining members of Mystic Spiral to show up, but both Max and Jessie were surprised and pleased to see him again.
"Damn, it's been a while hasn't it?" Jessie says slapping Daric on the back.
"All right! The original criminal is back!" Max says enthusiastically.
"Well now, shall we go listen to the digitize version of our demo tape?" Daric asks and the other three nod in agreement. The four boys go upstairs to Trent's room.

***

It was around an hour or so later when the Spiral had set up their instruments for practice. Daric was trying to adjust the sound board.
"Who's been the one setting up the board?" Daric asks.
"Nick usually does it." Trent answers playing a cord.
"No, still not right...and who the hell turned the bass guitar controls all the way down?" he asks making more adjustments to the board. Max quietly laughs nervously.
"Hehehe, I was the one who did that." Max says sheepishly.
"Man, you and Nick don't get along. I guess I should've looked harder for someone to fill in for Daric." Trent says hitting that same cord again.
"Perfect! Now, Jessie let me hear you." Daric says and Jessie lets out a cord. Daric shakes his head and adjusts the sound again.
"I still see you are a perfectionist, man." Trent says as Daric picks up his five string and makes sure it was tuned just how he liked it.
"It's a flaw I got from my father. Now gentlemen, let's make some noise."

***

"Jane, who in your family owns a black Jaguar?" Daria Morgandorffer asks of her friend as the two walk to her house from the prison known as Lawndale High.
"Black Jag," Jane Lane says coming over to the car in question and giving it a once over, "this car belongs to someone who hasn't been seen since he graduated from our prison of a high school. Come on, he'll be inside with the rest of Mystic Spiral, minus Nick."
"Who's this ex-student you speak of?" Daria asks as the two enter the house. They hear a bass guitar rift that sounded like the player new what he was doing. The two girls come down to the basement as the rest of the band joins in and they start playing 'The God That Failed'.
"Man, that felt good. Hadn't had much time to practice since after our last gig together." Daric says after the song ends.
"Law school that bad?" Trent asks finally noticing that Jane and Daria had come to watch their old bass player in action.
"I've never thought anything could suck your soul more than Harvard did to mine."
"Well, for someone who's soul was sucked out you've turned out pretty well." Jane says to Daric.
"Well, the baby of the family isn't much of a baby now is she?" Daric says smirking.
"And I see you are just as much of an ass as you were before you left Lawndale." Jane retorts smirking as well.
"Why should I change? Well, looks like you've gotten a partner in crime there, Jane."
"Daria Morgandorffer, meet the first bass player of the Spiral and now probably Mystic Spiral's legal department, Daric Lynn." Jane says making Daric's introduction as over the top as possible.
"You went to Harvard only to return to another place that sucks your soul?" Daria asks as Trent laughs again.
"Ah, me thinks someone who is too smart for the state thinks I hang around the wrong company. To tell you the truth I never wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father. Music has been and forever will be my ultimate passion. I was forced to go to Harvard on the promise that I didn't have to become a lawyer. being the gifted child that I am I was able to do nothing but study out of that den of up and coming sharks and now I'm back with my real friends."
"We playing or what?" Max asks.

***

It was several hours later. Trent and Daric were up in Trent's room going over all of the material that the two wrote during Daric's absence. He didn't have the time nor the practical place to play his bass, but he did manage to write at least a good half dozen notebooks full of songs.
"I see you're still writing grunge type lyrics." Daric says reading over the lyrics of 'Ice Box Woman'.
"That's Jessie's song. Care to guess who it's about?" Trent says putting down the notebook he was looking at and smiling at Daric.
"Would it happen to be the girl living in the room down the hall?" Daric says with mirth in his voice.
"Ok, what's the story on the smart little red head? And, why aren't you dating her? She's your type, right down to the outlook on life." Daric says looking briefly at the lyrics to 'Psychic Refugee'. Neither of the older boys knew that the door was cracked opened and the red head in question was listening in on their conversation.
"That's my fault," Trent says looking thoughtful.
"Uh oh, that's never happened before." Daric states putting the lyric notebook down.
"I stupidly agreed to give Daria thirty seconds of music during a time when I couldn't write a damn thing. To make matters worse I tried to justify my stupidity and well...I believe I've left a bad impression on her."
"Hm, usually you leave a bad impression on the parents and then the girl breaks up with you not you give the girl a bad impression before you even date her."
"I shouldn't have agreed to that, but I won't live in the past. I can't let that bring me down even if she's better than anyone I've dated after I had graduated from that dank hole known as Lawndale High."
"Is there a way to redeem thyself Lane?"
"Nah, she's seeing Tom Slone, a kid who goes to some rich kid school."
"Fielding?"
"I guess, you know that side of town better than I do."
"Well now, since I'm here I'll be able to keep you on the straight and narrow, or we'll fall further than before." Daric says and Trent laughs and goes into a fit of coughing.
"I knew Janie was trying to hook me and Daria up, but I was waiting for her to turn eighteen. I sort of figured she could possibly stand up against her parents or even hide any relationship we had from them. Maybe I shouldn't have waited so long or have said yes to that damn school assignment. I just couldn't say "no" to her."
"If you've been kind to the universe, then it'll eventually pay you back. Now, you seemed to be more relieved about me being back..."

***

She knew it had been wrong to listen, but they were talking about her, so the deed wasn't that wrong. The problem was that she now regretted it.
'Eves dropping is never a good thing but I just had to learn my lesson the hard way. There's only one person that can help me now.' Daria thinks as she enters the front door of her house and heads up for her room. She picks up the phone and listens to see if the line is clear. Once she hears the familiar dial tone sound she starts dialing a number. the other phone rings twice until someone picks up at the other end.
"You have reached the phone of Amy Barksdale...if you are trying to sell me something..."
"Aunt Amy,"
"Daria, how's my favorite niece?"
"I'm starting to believe that I may have been a little harsh on my judgement of someone."
"Ok, shoot. I've got the time." Amy says and Daria begins to tell the whole story about Jane's brother.
"...and that is the entire mess," Daria says finishing up her story.
"You're probably feeling this way because of the circumstances that you and Tom got together under. While Trent did blow a commitment, he for some reason couldn't say no to you. Do you think that Jane might have stumbled onto this information and tried to yenta even harder? Don't you think that Jane might have thought that you would have spent time with Trent to hammer thirty seconds of music out? That might have been some of the justification for her ditching you during the project."
"Damn, I've never even considered that. I just figured she wanted to spend time with her new boyfriend."
"That might have been true as well, but that gave Jane a second excuse in order to cover up any suspicion of her yenta act."
"How did you get so wise?"
"Life experience. You are as gifted if not more so as I am, but you lack the years like I have. You'll get there. Your only enemy is time."
"That, and getting into a good college without breaking the bank."
"Listen, I would watch Tom carefully. He kissed you while still in a relationship with Jane. There's no guarantee that he won't do it again. Some men have the ability to make the same mistakes over and over again."
"I will." Daria says and the two exchanged their good-byes.

***

It was like nothing had changed. Daric was watching as Trent hit every single makeshift target with his throwing knives.
"I didn't know you still did your knife throwing exercises." Daric says watching as Trent pulls out the throwing knives.
"I stopped after graduation. I just didn't feel like doing them anymore. Of course, I think after you graduated I started not caring about much. It happened slowly at first, and then after I graduated I just decided that I could sleep most of the day and work with the band later on in the day. I guess that's another reason that I blew it with Daria."
"So, ready to kill about five hours at the nearest pizza place as we gorge ourselves on greasy fast food and work on our lyrics?"
"Cool, we taking your car?"
"Ah, anything not to drive that beat up car of yours."
"Yeah, I've gotta find time to attempt to fix that thing." Trent says and the two leave.

***

The think tank of the Spiral had gone through six notebooks of lyrics and four pies in about five and a half hours. The two were now talking about the big event coming up the following Friday.
"Now let me get this straight...,the Zen is holding a battle of the bands and by some miracle there will be talent scouts out in the crowd. I wonder how they pulled that off? I mean, how would they get scouts to come to this dank hole?" Daric says and Trent goes into another fit of coughing while laughing.
"Yeah, don't know how they did it, but they did and now we have our best shot at making it big."
"Then it is quite beneficial that I've come back." Daric says taking another slice.
:"There you two lyricists are...and gorging on pizza like old times as well." Jane says as her and Daria come to the booth that the boys were occupying. Daric moves to sit by Trent to allow the girls to take his seat.
"So, you two coming Friday night?" Trent asks slurping down his soda.
"I'll be there, and as long as young Thomas doesn't have any other plans then my silent but angry friend will be there." Jane says steeling a slice from Trent.
"What's wrong..." Trent tries to ask, but Jane interrupts him.
"Don't try it Trent. Ever since Ms. Li called Daria into her office this afternoon she has been moody. She hasn't even told me yet." Jane says now sneaking a slice from Daric's pie.

***

Tom pulled into the parking lot of the Pizza king about 5 minutes later. He saw a Jag in much better condition than his beat up old car. He saw that the license plate read "Mystc-Sprl". This didn't sit well with Tom. He knew he couldn't keep Daria from hanging out with Jane, but her brother and his band was another story.
'Who in the world knows the band that would be rich enough to own that and know Trent?' Tom thinks as he goes inside and spots Daria with Jane, Trent, and someone new. The boy had straight, dark brown hair and had amber eyes. Since he was wearing a sleeveless shirt, Tom could see aTatoo of a dragon that had a serpentine body which coiled around a sword on his upper arm. Tom guessed the new comer might be a little older than Trent. Tom waves Daria over to a booth that is some distance away and Daria comes over.
"Hm, definitely from the other side of town. If he really wanted to piss his parents off he would have demanded to go to LHS." Daric says turning back in his seat after getting a look at that Slone kid.
"You are worse than Daria when it comes to ripping into people." Jane says spotting Jessie heading over as well.
Hey guys, having a pizza binge like in the old days?" Jessie says sitting beside Jane who scoots closer to him.
"Yeah, and we actually got some work done." Trent says as he notices that Daric was looking out of one of the windows.
"That black sedan that we passed on the way here is parked outside." Daric says quietly to Trent as to not get Jane or Jessie's attention.
"Can you tell who's in the car?" Trent asks looking out as well.
"Not yet. I don't like this Trent."
"Neither do I. The car looks like it's been stolen." Trent says as he spots an even more angry Daria leave as Tom sits at the booth looking like he just got chewed out.
"The guy just got out of his car. He's following Daria." Daric says seeing Trent tense up.
"He is a knifer...I'll take care of this." Trent says about to get up.
"Are you sure about that? You haven't been in a knife fight in at least five years."
"It'll come back to me. Besides, I've never lost before," Trent says and slips out.

***

'Damn it! This day couldn't get any more stupid. First that tyrant that dares to call herself a high school principal calls me into her damn office and informs me that my Highland credits aren't worth the paper there printed on, and I now have to go one more year in that prison. Now, Tom wants me to do something else with him this Friday instead of me being there for what could be Trent's biggest moment. I'm only around him because I'm Jane's friend...what kind of crap is that? I've got to calm my temper before I reach...' Daria thinks to herself but her thoughts are interrupted by a voice from behind her.
"You haven't grown much have you?"
Daria turns to face the voice, but wishes she hadn't. There, not standing ten feet away, was Todd. The man that had almost molested her almost ten years ago.
Todd...what the hell are you doing in this part of the country?" she asks with fear evident in her voice.
"It took me a long time to find you again, and this time I'm just going to leave your bloody body on the sidewalk." Todd says withdrawing a sharp switch blade from his pocket. He approaches her with a malicious smirk on his face. Daria is so gripped with fear that she is frozen to the spot.
" "Hold it!" a voice says from behind Todd. He turns to see that someone had been following him and had his own switch blade out.
"And just what do you think you're going to do with that, skinny?" Todd asks Trent.
"Let her go man. I don't wanna get my hands dirty, but if you wanna hurt Daria, then you'll have to go through me." Trent says glancing in Daria's direction. She seemed to be shaken up but unharmed. Todd charges at Trent hoping to catch him off guard, but all Todd felt was a blade buried in his chest. Trent had pulled out his other knife and had swiftly stabbed Todd in the chest. Trent frowned as he realized what happened.
"Damn it, why the hell does that always happen every time I'm charged at like that? You okay, Daria?" Trent asks coming towards her. Daria, however, was emotionally drained and Trent finds himself catching her. "I'll have to get her home, but I'll have to call Luigi to come and clean this up."

***

Trent had sneaked himself and Daria into the Morgandorffer residence and now had Daria laying in her bed with her glasses and boots off. He was about to leave when he heard Daria sit up and look around confused.
"Trent?"
"Yeah, I managed to get you home without anyone knowing what happened."
"I sort of tuned out the fight...what happened to Todd?"
"He came running at me with his switch blade, then I pulled out my other knife and pierced his heart."
"He's dead?"
"Yeah, His body is probably stuffed in the trunk of that car he drove to get here, and the car will find itself a new home at the bottom of the rock quarry."
"You weren't scared of dyeing?"
"Daric and Jessie can tell you how many knife fights I've been in. This town wasn't the typical suburb it is now. There were a bunch of rich and poor kid gangs that fought all over the place. Max got the three of us involved when he was attacked by one of the rich kid gangs. It was Luigi's gang that bailed us out along with Daric's martial arts skills. We owed Luigi so we joined up with his group and that's when I found out that I was good with a knife. Problem was that any time I was charged at I usually plunge my serrated knife into the chest of the guy I was fighting. eventually, Luigi became the top boss and he went underground with all of his operations. Most of the cops are in his back pocket and he's got enough dirt on the mayor that he would have to leave office if half of the stuff is leaked out."
"It sounds like your fight or flight instinct leans heavily on fight."
"That sounds right, but I never completely understood the concept."
"Can you come and pick me up on Friday for your big moment?"
"Is that what you and Tom fought about?"
"Yes, and he was being an ass about it." Daria says sighing.
"I'll come get ya at 6:30, but you might wanna plan on sleeping over."
"I intend to, and I will tell Jane what Li told me."
"Cool, I'll see ya on Friday." Trent says and sneaks out of the house.

***

"Unbelievable! That's more unbelievable than the Spiral sounding good tonight." Jane rants as the two girls stood beside the tank outside the Zen.
"I've got to go for one more year or I will not get a diploma that is only useful for toilet paper." Daria fumes.
"What about your mother?"
"She's trying every lawyer trick in the book, but I think Li's won this time. There's only one thing I can do now."
"An assassination?" Jane asks in a bad Russian accent.
"No, that female Hitler would see that coming. I've got to bring back my bitch persona."
"What...?"
"I was a sheep herder at Highland High. I let that part of myself rest when we moved to let Quinn have the spotlight. I decided to control my tongue and not try and shepherd this flock of useless sheep. I didn't believe it to be a challenge for me. Now, Li has pushed me too far. I'm going to act so defiant towards those who dare call themselves teachers that Li will have to suspend me or expel me, but she'll be giving me what I want, my freedom. Li won't want to give me what I want. She'll stick me in classes with a bunch of freshman who don't know the pecking order and that will be her down fall."
"One senior and a bunch of freshman are going to take down their principal...,sounds like a movie for bad movie night." Jane says smirking.
"And Lane, if you stay in this town and not go to college just to support me I'll have to find a slow, painful way of killing you."
"I don't think...,"
"I'm the one who does the thinking around here, Pinky." Daria says smirking.
"Hm, I guess I better ask for some recommendations from my favorite teacher."
"Hey you two, vans all loaded up." Trent says and the girls plus the Spiral climb into the beat up van and leave.

***

"You know, I almost regret that those two are together." Daria says to Trent. She was in his room waiting for the activity in the other bedroom to end.
"I wouldn't have let them do that until Janie was eighteen. Now that she is I'll let her make her own choices when it comes to...," Trent says but stops as a cry of pleasure could be heard from behind the far wall.
"I hope she wasn't doing that...,"
"Nah, Jessie would have killed Tom after you and him kissed."
"You were right about Tom being interested in me. I guess...,I guess I didn't want to consider the possibility that my best friend's boyfriend was now getting interested in me. Had I listened to you I probably wouldn't have gotten into that car in the first place."
"Hey, the past is the past."
"Yeah, but he is getting possessive. He didn't want me coming tonight. I don't know why he would object."
"He probably feels threaten by me, I guess. He probably thinks I'll do what Jessie almost did to him when the power went out in that warehouse store."
"What did he almost do?"
"Probably beat him up and leave him there in the dark."
"That wouldn't have done him any good."
"Nah, that's why I stopped Jessie and the two of us left Tom all alone in the dark." he says coughing and laughing.
"Why would Tom feel threatened by you?"
"He probably thinks that I'll steal you away from him." he answers going into a fit of coughing and laughing.
"Jane better not have..." Daria begins to say but closes her mouth.
"What?"
Daria begins to blush and looks down at the floor. 'This shouldn't be hard to admit now that I'm in a relationship with Tom, but it still is!. What power does Trent have over me? Well, I guess it's safe to tell him now. It's not like we'll end up naked and throwing ourselves at each other.' she thinks to herself. Taking a deep breath, Daria says, "Jane might have told him that I had a crush on you since I met you."
"That shouldn't have worried him while he was still with Janie, but he's with you now so he doesn't have to keep you from going to our gigs just because he thinks I'd move in on you. I don't go where I'm not wanted."
"You wouldn't have done it. You just see me as another little sister."
"If I thought I had a chance I would, but I know I don't. I couldn't say no when I should have, but I didn't. I don't know why I agreed to help you with that project in the first place. I told Janie I was having trouble writing."
'Amy was right. Jane did want me to hang around Trent while she went out with Tom. I should kill her for that.' "That sister of yours didn't know when to leave well enough alone. You were to oblivious to know that I had feelings for you."
Trent looks right at her with a half grin on his face. "Sometimes I tune out the world, but I sometimes just play like I'm not paying attention. That way I can hear and see things that I wouldn't if I were actually paying attention. So, I knew you had feelings, but after I met your mother I decided to wait."
"So, you were being serious when you said if I were a little older you'd take me out?!" Daria explodes.
"Well...,yeah." he answers seeing her father's temper coming out. "I know if I can keep your father calm and cool he's all right, but your mother is another story. With her, the best thing to do is nod and agree with her."
"I...,I...,heard the conversation you and Daric had about me."
"I know that you're with Tom and I've left a bad taste in your mouth."
"Well, Tom is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth too."
"Just tell him that I'm no threat to him and if he's that jealous then you need to leave him. If he thinks that you can't handle yourself around others then he's no good for you."
"Thanks." she says blushing. "But what am I going to do about you?"
"Do you still have feelings for me?"
"I don't know."
"Then," he says coming towards her, "let's see if there's anything there." he finishes and presses his lips to hers. Trent raps his arms around her and pulls the girl closer to him. Daria doesn't resist. He pulls back a little to catch his breath.
"If you don't...,do that again...,I'm going...,to hang you...,by your guitar strings."
Trent smiles and pulls himself and Daria towards the bed. He sits down and pulls her into his lap and kisses her again. She could feel her body heating up as the two continue to lock lips with each other. He pulls back again to rest his forehead against hers. "You want to let Tom know its over before we go any further, or should I take care of him later?" he asks smiling.
"No need for that. You've spilt enough blood for me. I'll tell him, but if you don't continue what you were doing I'll rip those lips off myself." she replies and Trent resumes kissing her. The two end up falling onto the bed with Daria on top. Trent could tell that his other head wanted to take control. He hears her grown feeling his arousal press against her.
"Uh,"
"It's all right, but I wasn't expecting to excite you or anyone that much."
"It's...,errr...,ben a while for me. I didn't know who else Monique had been with plus we fought more than anything else.
"Do you think...?"
"It's up to you. I won't force you to...""
"I want this." she says squeezing his manhood. "It only felt good when I kissed Tom when he was with someone else. This feels right." she adds pulling off her shirt to reveal a black bra. Trent reaches out and cups her ample chest in his hands. His thumbs start to rub her nipples through the lacy fabric. She lightly moans feeling the guitar Callas fingers making her feel good. She grips his hands in order to stop him. She guides them to the clasps and helps him unhook them. Once that was done she slips her bra off and lets it drop to the floor where her shirt was now. She returns his hands back to the soft flesh where Trent continues to rub her hard nipples with his thumbs. Rolling over now, Trent takes the top position and lowers his head to her left Breast. His other hand stimulates the right tit as he begins to suckle on the left. Hearing her moan louder spurs him on as he switches breasts and lets his hand play with the saliva coated breast. He then feels her grinding her pussy against him. Knowing what she wants, he slides her pajama shorts and panties down her legs. She raises her hips to help him in the endeavor. He takes in the site of her now naked body. He notes the fact that she keeps herself shaven between her legs. He gently slips in one finger into her warm depths. He wiggles it around to gently stretch her out and adds a second. Eventually all four of his fingers are sliding in and out of her while his thumb plays with her clit. Her hips raise off the bed as she cums for the first time. Trent removes his fingers and begins to lick them clean. He smiles at her as she basks in the afterglow of her first orgasm. He pulls down his pants and lays his body atop hers.
"This is going to...,"
"I know that pain is involved in the breaking of that membrane. Just don't get too wild for the first few hours." she says smirking up at him and he laughs at the joke. With one quick thrust of his hips, he buries himself in her depths. He holds himself inside her until she calms down.
"All right?"
"Yeah, it'll feel better when you start to move."
Trent slowly withdraws from her warm sheaf until only the head was the only thing still in her. He then thrusts back in. He grits his teeth trying to control his body's need for release. Her walls were so tight that they threaten to drain him dry. Setting a moderate tempo, he reaches down between them to rub her clit with his thumb. Her cries of passion drives him to thrust faster into her clinching pussy. Then her pussy gives one hard throb and she cries out in orgasm. Her pussy squeezes his cock and his seed spills into her pussy. He rolls over onto his side and pulls her to him.
"Want to see if Jane's room is free now?"
"No, I'm fine here." she replies and falls asleep.

***

An alarm clock buzzes loudly displaying the time of 6:30. A hand comes out from under the covers and hits the off switch. Daria stretches and yawns.
'Damn it, summer felt like a night in Trent's bed, pleasurable, warm, but not long enough. Well Li, you wanted me back for one more year, you've got it.' she thinks pulling out a black shirt and jeans.

***

Helen Morgandorffer could see the look in her eldest daughter's eyes. It was the same look that her youngest sister got when she readied herself for defiance of authority that she believed was oppressive.
"Daria, I know...," she begins to say but is cut off.
"Don't, you tried, but you can't even fix this one with any lawyer trickery. She wants me back then she'll have to deal with me convincing all the new freshman that the principal and her whipped teachers shouldn't be listened to. If she suspends or expels me I'll have gotten what I wanted." she responds heading to the kitchen. Helen bites her lip realizing that Li might have let loose a monster that she might want to put back in it's cage.

***

She was the new Spanish teacher. Fortunately she was going to have freshman in her homeroom so she wasn't going to confront any of the older students that may have the bad habit of tricking the new teacher. She looks at her roll and notices that she was missing one. Then the door slams open and an auburn haired student walks in.
"I know that it's your first day, butt...," she begins to say but is interrupted.
"I'm not a freshman, and what are you going to do to me for showing up late?" Daria asks sitting down and putting her feet on the table top. The teacher looks at the roll to notice the name and the grade she was in.
'Uh oh, this one is a senior.' "I don't think that's how a senior is supposed to behave."
"I don't think that I should behave like a senior while Li is the dictator of this school." Daria fires back. The teacher winces realizing that this was the student that Ms. Li had warned her about.
"Will you be taking...?"
"I already know how to speak at least seven different languages fluently, so you don't have to worry about having me in one of your Spanish classes. Now, I believe that the dictator wishes to speak to us." Daria says and on cue Li's voice comes over the intercom.
'This Morgandorffer girl will give the teachers trouble this year. The freshman may follow her example. Li should have graduated her last year.' she thinks as the freshman in the room continue to watch Daria to see if she would lash out again.
