I originally started this story before this website changed servers. I decided to repost it myself. I also rewrote Chapter 4. I felt the original chapter was to long and boring. I wanted something that was more spicey and bold. I hope you like it.
THE STORY:
A murderous howl of frustration and rage. Amber colored eyes flashed in anger. A curved sword raises in a strike position. The deafening roar of thunder, drowning out the startled cries of the men behind him, as a wall of ice and snow, crashes down onto them. The slender, near feminine physique of the soldier desperately trying to scramble out of the path of the fatal sword swing.
Something touches the massive leader's consciousness. Amber colored orbs widen as they gaze upon the petite framed figure staring up at him with an expression of surprise as a slight touch of recognition passes between them. The spark between was faint, but strong enough to cause the sword hand to waver. Thoughts of revenge and his men being buried behind him fade. The rumble of the avalanche was a distant sound. The scene around him melted.
