When Water is Fire's Needs

Zuko had just started to sail out of Fire Nation waters with his just-banished sister, Zula. It was like a rewind in time, because Zula was banished for disrespecting the Fire Lord, and he ordered her to travel with Zuko and help capture the Avatar. Zuko and Zula didn’t fight as much as they used to, they both matured. But that doesn’t mean there were no disputes…

‘What the hell Zuko? Where do I sleep?’ a frustrated Zula scowled. Zuko was becoming very irritated with his younger sister. ‘I’M BUSY RIGHT NOW!’ Zuko screamed. Iroh chuckled at the memories of them fighting, it was no different. ‘Where are we going?’ Zula asked. Zuko’s face was becoming red from anger. ‘We are on our way to the south pole because we are after the Avatar, don’t you listen?! If we don’t catch this kid, we can’t go home!’

With that, Zula sighed and headed toward her room. She wouldn’t admit it, but after Zuko was banished, she was very lonely.

Iroh walked in with his same chipper face. ‘Are you comfortable Zula? Do you need anything?’ Iroh asked. Zula sighed and shook her head politely, the old general then smiled and walked out. She needed some sleep, she had a long journey ahead of her.

Aang, Katara, and Sokka were getting ready to leave the south pole in a couple days. The two siblings were arguing and for once, Aang was annoyed. ‘Please’ Aang pleaded, ‘We are leaving in a couple days, if you guys are fighting now, I can’t even imagine the ride to the earth kingdom will be like.’ Katara and Sokka nodded, it was a pretty long trip, even on a flying bison.

Aang was getting very bored. He decided to play with the children of the tribe, while Katara prepared for the trip. She was spending a lot of time with her grandmother, since she wouldn’t be seeing each other for a long time. Sokka was supposed to be gathering food for the trip, but he was probably just goofing off like always. Either way, they would be off to the earth kingdom soon.
