"So you want to join forces with me, do you?" asked Skeletor as he sat on his skull-topped throne. He stared down at the two gorgeous women before him.

The woman dressed in red stepped forward.
"Mrrowwwww, that is correct," purred Catra.

Skeletor suddenly stood up and pointed directly at her.
"You come to my world and enter my throne room and dare ask anything from me? Tell me why I should want to ally myself with you at all. Why should I not just destroy you both right now. You, Catra, were one of Hordak's elite, and you, Siryn, were former Force Captain. Might I remind you two that I hate Hordak. In fact I was almost happy when I heard he was deposed and went into exile."

"Skeletor, Catra and I, will prove ourselves to you if you give us the chance," Siryn said as she stood next to her friend. "We will defeat your greatest enemy the mighty He-Man to show you our loyalty. Once he is out of the way, you will have no problem conquering Eternia."

"Just the two of you? How are two women supposed to best He-Man when my entire forces cannot?"demanded Skeletor.

"We have brought along special weapons from the home Horde World that will take care of him, mmrrowww," explained Catra.

Siryn smiled confidently. "And we have certain unique abilities that will also aid us in this task."

Skeletor thought their proposal over. What did he have to lose? If they failed then he would just get rid of them. If they happened to, by some miracle, actually defeat He-Man then the greatest thorn in his side would be gone. "And if you two fail?"

"Then you may do with us what you wish. We only ask to borrow one or two of your men," Siryn said.

"Fine," sighed Skeletor looking bored. "But expect no mercy from me when you fail."

Prince Adam was just sitting down to dinner with his father and mother when a palace guardsman burst into the dining hall.

"I apologize for the intrusion, King Randor, but two of Skeletor's men were spotted wreaking havoc in a small village near the edge of the kingdom."

King Randor shook his head. "Curse that vile man. What a time for Man-At-Arms and Teela to be away on retreat from the kingdom."

"Don't worry, dad, I'm sure He-Man will be there shortly to put a stop to them," Adam reassured. "Let me see if he is anywhere close by just in case."

Adam excused himself from the table. "What could his henchmen be up to this time?" he thought.

When he was in the clear he drew his fabled Sword of Power, held it high above his head, and uttered the magical phrase: "By the power of Grayskull!" In a brilliant flash of light, Prince Adam instantly changed into He-Man- Champion of Eternia. He could feel the incredible strength that the transformation granted him course through his entire body.

Unfortunately He-Man's trusty companion Cringer had gone along with Teela and Man-At-Arms. That was just like his green and yellow striped tiger-like pal. That cat was always eager to get away from any sign of trouble. Usually, Cringer would transform along with Adam to become the mighty Battle Cat, but since he was absent, He-Man decided to take a battle cycle to get to his destination instead.

He would've much preferred to ride Battle Cat because then there was a second pair of eyes and some back-up for him if the need arose. This time the Prince of Power would have to go it alone. He climbed into the large three wheeled vehicle and sped on his way.

*************

The village was in shambles by the time He-man arrived. Cottages and huts were destroyed and on fire. There was debris and carts left out in the streets. Luckily it seemed that most of the villagers had escaped. As He-man dismounted his cycle to find Skeletor's minions, he heard a loud crash and the splintering of wood behind him. He turned just in time to see a large tree falling right toward him. Without a moment to spare, he caught the tree by its trunk, and with some effort tossed it harmlessly to the side.

"How did that tree just suddenly fall?" He-Man wondered. He didn't have to wait long to find out. Standing at the edge of a row of trees was one of Skeletor's henchmen, Jitsu. Jitsu had an oversized right hand that was encased in metal. With this he could chop down or destroy almost anything in his way. With another single chop to the base of a tree, he sent it toppling toward He-man. This time, He-man simply used his incredible strength and punched the tree sending it flying back out into the woods.

"I'll take chop you down to size this time, He-man!" shouted Jitsu as he ran toward him. The villain brought down his lethal golden metallic hand with all his might, but he hit nothing but air. He-man had simply side-stepped the attack.

"My turn now," he said as he punched Jitsu in the jaw and sent him flying back into and through a short stone wall. "That ought to take care of him for the time being," thought He-man. But why was he here? What was he doing? Skeletor's minions may not be very bright, but they always had a reason for whatever chaos they were wreaking.

Suddenly a bellowing shout was heard.
"He-man!!!" said the voice. He turned around to see Beastman emerge from behind one of the cottages. The hairy, orange man was holding a woman in his clutches. "Surrender now or this woman will be very sorry!" he growled.

"Let her go you foul monster! Its me you want. If you think you are strong enough to beat me then prove it!"

The woman Beastman was holding looked terrified. He hoped that his challenge would be enough to goad the furry man into a fight without harming the woman.

"Heh, alright. I'll take you on," Beastman agreed as he tossed the woman to the side.
He then brandished a large spiked club and started charging toward He-man.

He-man drew his sword and in one smooth motion cleaved Beastman's club off at the hilt. Beastman stared dumbly at his now useless stub of a weapon. He angrily threw it down and took a swing at He-man. His fist ws promptly caught in mid-strike. The Prince of Power returned the favor, landing a thunderous blow that sent his opponent crashing into the wall of a storage shed several feet away.

"That was easy enough," He-man said as he returned his sword to its sheath. He looked and saw the woman running toward him.

"Thank you for saving me!" she said throwing her arms around his neck. She was an incredibly beautiful woman and that fact didn't escape He-man.

"You are welcome. Just glad you're unharmed."

There was something slightly strange about her though. He-man noticed that she was dressed rather oddly for a villager. She was wearing knee high black boots and a skin-tight black and silver bodysuit. The outfit couldn't help but show off every curve of her flawless figure. There was also some sort of utility belt around her waist with some contraptions connected to it.

"You're not from around here are you?" He-man deduced.

"No, I was just passing through this village when those mad men started attacking. My name is Siryn," she said flashing a brilliant smile.

"I am He-man."

"Yes, I've heard of you. I see that your legendary strength was not exaggerated. Please, let me thank you for saving my life."

Siryn leaned forward and pressed her soft lips against He-man's. It caught him slightly by surprise but he was not about to stop her. She then darted her warm tongue into his mouth and found his. Before long they were locked in a passionate kiss that He-man found himself lost in. This was something new to him. He wanted her- badly.

As he was distracted, Siryn reached behind her back and detached a short cylindrical rod from her utility belt. It looked similar to a cattle prod with two metal prongs at the end. She then thrust the tip of it against He-man's bare abs, unleashing a stream of magical red energy into him.

"Gaahhhhh!!!" screamed He-man as pain seared through his entire body. He stumbled back a few steps- stunned by the attack. Before he could recover Siryn pressed the weapon against his rippling bare chest. Another stream of the evil energy went through him almost like electricity.
"Aahhhhh!!" he yelled out.

"Does that hurt, He-man?" Siryn smiled as she kept up her attack. The red energy from the rod flashed brightly as it did its damage. He-man could barely think through the pain he was experiencing, but he refused to give up.

"Fall you big, dumb brute! Fall to your knees!" Siryn commanded as she pressed the weapon even harder, really laying it into him.
"Gaaahhhhhh!!!!" He-man cried out once again. If not for his magical strength and degree of invulnerability he would have been in even deeper trouble by now.

He-man struggled valiantly, but eventually the pain was getting to be too much. He sank down to one knee.
"Thats right. Get on your knees, hero!" said Siryn excitedly.

The Prince of Power knew he had to do something now or else be defeated. Through sheer willpower and strength he forced his arm to move and batted the rod out of Siryn's hands. "No!" said the villainess. The weapon landed harmlessly a few feet away from them.

He-man, still somewhat weakened and disoriented from the attack, struggled to get to his feet. But before he could do so, Siryn landed a hard kick to the side of his head.

"You will be defeated this time," she said as she planted another kick into He-man's stomach. He felt the air rush out of him from the blow, and as he doubled over the former Force Captain connected with another boot to his jaw. He fell over onto his side.

"Why are you doing this?" He-man asked.

"Because I can. And because we have a deal with your nemesis, Skeletor" answered Siryn. "See, this was all a set up. Beastman and Jitsu were sent here to lure you out, and it looks like you took the bait."

This was all He-man needed to hear. He should have known that Skeletor would be behind this attack. Siryn smiled as she pulled her leg back-aiming right for his head. As her boot came hurtling at him, He-man caught her leg and threw her onto the ground.

"The fight is over. This ends now," said He-man as he stood over his opponent.

Siryn looked up at him with fear in her eyes. "I'm sorry. Please don't hurt me," she pleaded.
"Skeletor made me do it. I didn't want to attack you. He said he'd destroy me if I failed." She pouted her sultry lips for added effect.

He-man couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for her. As he reached his hand out to help the fallen villainess, he felt heat on his back right before he was knocked to the ground by some unseen force.
