Later that day, Marinette had returned home as her mom and dad were in the middle of making dinner.

“Oh welcome back sweetheart,” said Sabine.

“You left pretty early today, did you have something to do with your friends?” asked Tom.

“I actually went to Kagami’s new place with Adrien, she had just moved in and wanted to show us around,” said Marinette who was blushing slightly as the embarrassment of what she had done earlier that day sat in.

“Um, but I actually have to tell you something,” she said.

“What is it?” asked Sabine as she turned away from the stove to give her daughter more of her attention.

“I… I’m dating both Adrien and Kagami,” said Marinette.

“What?” asked Tom.

“I think the three of us should sit down and talk about this a little more,” said Sabine as a timer went off. A couple of minutes later and the three were sitting down at the table.

“So the two of them confessed to you and you three decided to all date?” asked Tom.

“Yes, and I know that it sounds weird but I really do like them both,” said Marinette who was clearly worried about how the two might react to this news. 

“Mari we aren’t mad at you, if you truly like them both then all we care about is that you’re happy being with them,” said Sabine. 

“But we also want you to be safe, and not just because other people may not be alright with it,” she said. 

“What do you mean?” asked Marinette. 

“I mean that when it’s just you three alone I want you to be careful when you’re having fun, I don’t want any grandchildren so early,” said Sabine. 

“Mom!” said Marinette as she blushed even harder. 

“The three of us just started dating, we haven’t even thought of something like that,” she said. This only added to her embarrassment as she knew that it was a lie. 

“We trust you, Marinette, it’s just that we also know that you three are all teens who could get caught up in the moment and do anything,” said Tom. 

“But if something does happen we expect that Adrien will take responsibility,” he said. 

“And if the two of them are free this Monday we would love to have them over for dinner,” said Sabine. 

“I’ll call them later and see,” said Marinette.
