A black streak raced across the Great Unknown. Shadow was heading for the structure in the distance. He didn't know what it was, but had someone who did know been with the black hedgehog, they would have told him that he was heading for the temple of Order.

His footsteps echoed off the walls as he made his way through the cool, darken temple. Then, he came to a chamber with a sleeping kitsume laying underneath the light of a white emerald.
"I can't believe he's my replacement," a rough, gruff voice said.
"That seems to be the only thing you're able to do, complain. That and bring destruction," a female voice replied. Shadow turned to see a black echidna and a white nine tailed kitsume.
"I guess you are responsible for bring me here to this reality?" Shadow asked.
"Yes. It is time for us to go to another plane of existence, but we must make sure are emeralds are in the right hands," the white fox explained.
"Then, I must assume that you are Chaos and Order?" Shadow inquired.
"Bah, at least there's something of brain in his head, but he can't even tap into the powers of the emerald he has," Chaos complained.
In a flash of gold, there stood super Shadow. He glared at the echidna, wanting him to say something else.
"He has the pure form...something you care not to find yourself," Order quipped.
"Purity is your speciality, Order, not mine," Chaos retorted.
"Shadow?" the sleeping kitsume, now awake, let out.
"Maria?" Shadow asked, coming over to her after transforming back to his normal state.
"I'm Mobian now..." she said, stroking the side of Shadow's face. He leaned into the affection touch.
"Will you two leave and not torture us with your disgusting display of affection?" Chaos complained.
Shadow growled, but the now sitting up Maria kept him from attacking the echidna.
"Head on back for Knothole, this world is now yours," Order said and the two faded out of existence. Wishing to test his limits in his new super form, Shadow transforms, scooped Maria into his arms in a similar fashion he'd seen Sonic carrying that squirrel, and launched off back for the great Forest.

"If I knew we weren't going into a combat situation, I'd go after him, but I'm going to need everything I've got left if I'm going to face that piece of trash Naugus and Mammoth Mogul," Sentinal let out. Sally sighed, but before she could say another word, a loud sonic boom was heard. Knowing that Sonic was standing beside her, Sally knew exactly who had blasted back into knothole.
"Sorry it took me so long," Shadow said, his gold fading from his body to be replaced by the familiar black.
"I'm guessing Chaos and Order have left us then?" Sentinal asked.
"We are their replacements, I am Maria," the kitsume said.
"A nine tailed fox?" Sonic asked, arching an eyebrow.
"Multi-tailed foxes are kitsumes...I believe you have a two tailed one amongst your number?" Maria asked and Sally nodded. Everyone had thought that his two tails was some sort of mutation, but it appeared that that had been an incorrect assumption.
"Sentinal, you distract Naugus, Sonic, you've got the SWAT-bots and hover units," Sally instructed. "The rest of us will take out the factories."
"We shall handle Mammoth Mogul, Princess," Maria said and Sally nodded.

"She's dead, you can't bring her back by killing me," Naugus rasped out.
"I will avenge Andora, and killing you is the only way to do that, you piece of gutter trash," Sentinal said and Naugus used a force spell to back the echidna off of him.
"Do you think you can help them? Mammoth Mogul is the new ruler of this world," Naugus rasped out.
"We'll see who rules this world!" Sentinal shouted and lunged at the sorcerer again.

"So, these are the replacements for Chaos and Order. Am I supposed to be impressed?" Mogul asked.
"No," Shadow said and transformed, "you are supposed to shut up."
"You are a foul, evil, contemptuous, creature," Maria said, her body getting a silver sheen to it. Mogul took a step back. He could feel the magic radiating from her, but the magic's power was being fed by the emerald of Order.
'I shant underestimate either of these beings. To do so would be a mistake,' Mogul thought and took to fighting the two.

Robotnik watched via his monitors at the battling that his bosses were engaged in. He knew that they were just distractions, but with the damn hedgehog running about the city, distracting his robots, he couldn't be certain where the rest of those pesky rodents would be striking.
However, the moment he heard explosions, he knew that several SWAT-bot factories had just been blown up. Robotnik sat in his chair, fuming at the loss.

"Y'all ok?" Bunnie asked.
"Yes, I'm just fatigued...I need to start my recharge cycle," he muttered and Bunnie helped him over to the bed and laid beside him as his technological systems shut down and went into recharge mode. The partially roboticized rabbit hoped that the echidna would open up to her more and tell her what had happened to Andora that made Sentinal hate Naugus so much.

Sally paced back and forth in her hut. Sonic had almost killed himself having over half the city's forces chasing him.
"Psst,"
"Sally turned to locate the source of the sound.
"Over here," the voice said from the shadows.
"Manic?"
The green hedgehog came out into the moon light that was coming through the window.
"Y'know, you could get into trouble for seeking into my hut," Sally said, her hands on her hips.
"Cool it, I've got some stuff you need to know about Nack's gang."
"Go on," Sally said to her informant. She wouldn't trust the royal treasury to the green hedgehog, but his information about Nack and the other criminal rings across Mobius had always been spot on.
"They are coming here to burn this place down just like he did to your sister's village, which by the way, was also named Knothole," Manic explained.
Sally bit her lip, "So, we've got to be ready for a fight then?"
"You've got it, Princess," Manic said.
"Thanks, we'll be ready," Sally said and Manic seemed to slip back into the shadows and vanished from her hut. She was slightly amazed by how the hedgehog could get himself in and out of any place he wanted to get in or out of. She sighed and decided to head for bed. Odds were good that Nack was gong to show up within the next day or two. She hated having to fight her own people, but Nack was going to force the issue and she was going to meet that force with as much force as she could get together.
