Voyeurism
PART 9
Ghost Command
Jake walked over to where Jessica stood by his bureau. He opened the top drawer. Inside, he pulled out three large scented candles. He lit one, setting it on the bureau, and then carried the other two over to his nightstands. The room was soon filled with the heady aroma of sandalwood. It had Jessica feeling a bit more relaxed. “So. I guess we should get started.”
Jake lit the last candle, then looked at her like he was fighting not to laugh. “Interesting way to approach the issue.”
She blushed. ‘Yeah, that was a bit impersonal.’ “Sorry.” She took a deep breath and exhaled roughly. “Okay look, I’m really nervous a’m r’m ruining this so why don’t you take over?”
He shook his head. “No. You’re nervous enough as it is. And you’re not ruining anything. Just do what you think is best and I’ll follow your lead, at least until you’re relaxed. Okay?”
She stared into his eyes, looking for justification for her uneasiness, but she could find none. In those bright baby blues, there was only kindness, patience, and not an insignificant amount of lust. “Okay. But you’re making this way too easy for me.”
“My pleasure.” He hoped she caught the double meaning. He was glad to help her out, but he also wanted her to know that he was doing this because he wanted them to. She smiled and caressed his cheek. It was clean-shaven, despite the late hour. She glanced up at him through heavy lids. His smile warmed her to the core. She stretched up on tiptoe and placed a hesitant kiss on his lips. He returned the gentressressure but did not lift so much as a finger to touch her. ‘I will follow her lead. I will follow her lead. Come on, Jake! Self-control!’
