Sickness and Whipped Cream

The next morning when I woke up, I temporarily forgot where I was. Then I suddenly remembered the events that had occurred a few hours ago. If it weren’t for the fact that Dib’s arm was tightly wrapped around my waist, I would have thought that it had all been a dream. I lay there, marveling at how just a few years ago, I had been no more than a miserable Irken misfit, and now look at me. Then, I fell back asleep.
When I woke up again a few hours later, I no longer felt Dib’s arm around me. I rolled over and saw that he saw he was laying on his side, facing away from me. I carefully lifted myself up on my elbows and lowered my head down to his ear. Smirking inwardly to myself, I began gently nibbling along the outer part of his ear, occasionally licking. Sure enough, he soon rolled over. When he saw me, he smiled. “Well, I see you’re finally awake. I was worried you were dead.” I smiled. “No, just tired.” Suddenly, a unexpected wave of sickness came over me. “Shit, hang on a minute,” I said and quickly ran into the bathroom (Fortunately, Dib had shown me it’s location the second time I had came over). I leaned over the toilet and threw up. I gazed in shock at the icky substance that had just come out of my mouth. I immediately rinsed my mouth out, and headed back to Dib’s room. When I got back in his room, his eyes were full of concern. “What happened? Are you okay?” he asked, voice full of worry. “Yeah, I’m fine,” I lied. Something about the way I said it must have made him realize I wasn’t telling the truth. “C’mon, you can tell me anything.” he encouraged. “Well, I don’t know why, but when I got in there, I freaking threw up,” I said. “I don’t know why though, because as I far as I know, I’m not sick or anything.” He looked at me with concern. “Well, are you sure you’re not sick?” he asked. “Yeah, pretty sure.” I replied. Suddenly, the sickness returned. ”Fuck, it’s back,” I said, and raced back into the bathroom. I returned a few minutes, this time with a sudden craving for strawberries with whipped cream. “Okay, for some freakish reason, I feel like stuffing myself with strawberries and whipped cream,” I said, as the craving increased. “Uh, Luna, it’s October; I don’t think there’s gonna be any good strawberries,” he replied. “Aw, but I really wanted some. Are you sure?” I asked. “Yeah, pretty sure, unless you wanna go to the store and buy the ones with all the crappy preservatives and stuff in them.” he said. “Although we do have some whipped cream, if you’d rather just eat it plain.” “Okay, sure!” I replied eagerly. He looked at me like I was crazy. “What? Whipped cream’s good.” I said in my defense. “He was still looking at me like I was crazy.
After putting our clothes back on, we went down into the kitchen and opened the door of the refrigerator. Sure enough, on the bottom shelf, there was a whole tub of whipped cream. My eyes widened, and my mouth watered. “Well, there it is,” Dib said, “I’m sure Gaz won’t notice if a little bit is gone.” “Sweet!” I said happily. I grabbed container, ripped the lid off, and in a matter of seconds, the container was completely empty. It was then that I realized that Dib was looking at me with a look that was half amused, half stunned. “What?” I asked, my mouth full of whipped cream.
“You are so crazy.” He said, shaking his head. “Well, what can I say? After all, I AM an alien.” I replied. He just smiled.

A/N: Sorry, I know it was a little short, but I was having a bit of an uncreative day. I’ll try to make up for it in the next chapter.
