"We have to talk..." the two said the moment they spotted each other.
"You first," Sentinal relented to the princess.
"Where's my father?"
"At the moment, I'm not sure, but Snively just told me that Naugus ain't the one pulling the strings. It's a guy named Mammoth Mogul." Sentinal explained. The moment Sentinal had said that name, Sir Charles's messenger came fly9ing by and Sally grabbed it and took the message.
"Looks like Snively was right, Mammoth Mogul is in Robotropolis. How much do you know about him?"
"Enough to know that he ain't someone a normal Mobian can tangle with," Sentinal answered and Sally sighed. The problems were quickly piling up.

His tails twirled as fast as he could get them to twirl as he followed the shadowy figure that was running through the great forest. The fox could tell that whoever it was, the person was no bigger than he was. He grunted and tackled the figure and the two tumbled to the forest floor.
"Get off of me," the figure said.
He jumped off of the figure, hearing a girl's voice come from the one he'd been chasing.
"Ick! I probably got girl germs!" tails shouted.
"Girl germs," she said after getting to her feet and dusting herself off. She wore black boots and a black vest similar to Sally, Tails noted. "That is the dumbest thing a boy has said to me," she said her hands on her hips.
"Who are you," Tails asked having finally recovered from touching a girl his age.
"Sasha, but where did you come from? I thought no one lived out here."
Tails looked over the blond ground squirrel, trying to figure out whether or not to say anything.
"There she is...get her!" a voice shouted.
"Uh oh, it's the weasel," she growled.
"Nack?" Tails asked.
"Yeah, got anywhere we can hide?"
"Afraid of flying>?"
"Hardly, but can you fly with extra weight?" she asked.
"I've carried Sonic before so a girl shouldn't be any problem," Tails replied. The sound of hover bikes came closer and instead of wasting time on arguing with each other again, Tails took to the air with her holding on for dear life.
"Damn! It's that fox friend of Sonic's! We'll get her later," Nack said and the gang of Mobians sped off.
"Why were they after you?" Tails asked.
"I don't know. They said something about holding me hostage and making someone named 'Sally' pay for my release, but I don't know anyone named Sally," Sasha bemoaned. However, Tails knew that Nack only knew one person on Mobius with that name.
'How could Sally know her?' Tails thought as he picked up speed. They flew through a cave and immerged out the other side. He puts Sasha back on her feet.
"Welcome to Knothole, Tails said.
"Knothole...I just came from...there was a second Knothole?"
Tails rubbed the side of his head. Now he knew how Sonic and Sally felt when they got their headaches. Hearing Sally's voice, he followed the source to find her and her father arguing.
"Who's the arguing pair?" Sasha asked.
"It's Princess Sally and her father, King Acorn. They've been at it like this ever since we rescued him from Naugus's slimy clutches," Tails answered.
'Acorn? Why is that name familiar to me?' Sasha asked. The two youngsters came closer to the arguing pair.
"Listen, I'm your father and..." King Acorn began, but the color in his face drained and he appeared to be quite ill.
"Father?" Sally asked and then saw that Tails had come back from patrol with a blond squirrel in tow. Before she could question Tails, Nicole started beeping and chirping at her.
"Nicole?" Sally inquired.
"Scan complete. Identity confirmed. Hello Sasha Nicole Acorn," the computer greeted.
"Father," Sally began, giving her father a look.
"She's...she's...your sister," he managed to get out before passing out.
"You're sisters? No wonder Nack was after you," Tails commented.
"Nack was after you?" Sally asked.
"Yeah, I guess I now know why huh sis?" she asked.
"I've got a headache," Sally moaned.
"Hey yo!" Sonic shouted coming up to the gathered Mobians. "Hey, what's wrong with the king."
"Sonic, get everyone together...we've got a couple of problems. Oh, meet my little sister," she said and gestured to Sasha.
"Sister?" Sonic asked confused.
"I was Never told...as usual. Nicole," she griped at the computer.
"The information on your sister was time locked, Sally," the computer replied, talking normally instead of talking like Sonic did.
"Wonderful," Sally remarked sarcastically. "Nack's been after her...we're going to have to increase security, again," she added.
"Oh man," Sonic complained. "Maybe we ought to take out that weasel," Sonic blurted.
"You know," Sally began, "that's not a bad idea."

"Y'all want us to do what Salligirl?" Bunnie asked.
"You and Sentinal go and send a message to that weasel Nack. I'd send Shadow with the two of you, but he's been lost in a trance with that emerald of his and can't be broken out of it," Sally said.
"He's bonding with that emerald. If' he's Chaos's replacement then he's got to bond with that black emerald. Should I bring the weasel in and give Snively a new cell mate?" the echidna asked.
"No. We've got enough problems just holding Snively here as it is," Sally answered.
"Understood," Sentinal said. "When do we leave?"
"Go after him tomorrow," she said.
"I've always wanted to go weasel huntin', sugah," Bunnie said and she and the echidna left.
"Now, what am I going to do about you?" Sally sighed. She'd have to wait until her father recovered before she got the whole story of her younger sister.

'I know you are there, I can feel you,' Shadow thought as he sat on the black emerald. His trance abruptly ended and shadow revved himself up, grabbed the emerald and quietly shot out of Knothole.
'I'm coming Maria,' he thought as he ran out of the great forest and into the Great Unknown.
