“Malevolent one! I did it! I did it!” Scared Stiff ran into the throne room to tell Prime Evil the good news.

“We did it, you buffoon,” Mysteria corrected.

Prime Evil looked up to see the two female ghosts and the robot ghost approaching. “What have you done, you metallic moron?”

“We’ve broken through the anti-psychokinetic wall! We can see inside of Ghost Command! We can see what Jake is doing!”

“Is this true Mysteria?”

“Yes, great one. It’s true. With my magic.”

“Oh! And my magic!” Apparitia protested.

“And my technology!” Scared Stiff added.

“Fine,” Mysteria muttered testily. “Through our combined efforts, wicked one, we have broken down the protective psychic shield around Ghost Command. And we already have news. We have found out that whatever secret Jake Kong is keeping from the other Ghostbusters, Jessica Rhea seems to be in on it.”

Prime Evil’s eyes widened, and then narrowed. That reporter woman again. She was always interfering in his affairs. She was very bright, as much as Jake or Futura, and had thwarted a few of his plans all by herself, making her a formidable enemy. If she and Jake were plotting something together, it was a very serious matter. “I see. Continue to monitor Ghost Command. If Jessica Rhea ever shows up there, I want to be notified at once. We will find out what they are hiding. Perhaps it will be the undoing of those dreaded . . . Ghost-bumblers!”
