Tubing looked at the readouts of the X weapon's brain wave activity. He was perplexed on why the Decimalian wasn't back on his feet. Then, an idea came to him and he ran a deeper scan on the brain.
'As I suspected,' the doctor thought as he heard WordGirl coming into the lab.
"He's not up yet?" WordGirl asked.
"I ran a deeper scan of his brain. The ones that engineered him are far beyond human science."
"What...?"
"His normal brain wave activity only seems to control lower brain functions. He's alive, breathing, pumping blood, but his speech center, and all motion controllers are tied in with his quantum brain waves. Until I can figure a way to get his brain to..." Tubing began, but a beeping noise alerted the professor. He turned and found that there was a quantum wave signal coming from somewhere in the city.
"There seems to be a quantum wave transmitter somewhere around Mr. Big's building," Tubing reported.
"Grrrr, what are they trying to do? He can't move at all!" WordGirl snarled.
Then, the two turned to see the X weapon sitting up. WordGirl came over to Tubing said and WordGirl launched off to go after him.

The X weapon landed and Mr. Big and Dr. Two-Brains started laughing in glee.
"Is he under our control?" Granny May asked.
"X weapon, do a back flip," Two-Brains ordered and the X weapon did a perfect back flip.
"I think we need to get rid of two birds with one stone. Have him attack that cyborg of Titan's. That will get rid of all but one crime fighter," Granny May said.
"Ok you, bring us back the dead hulk of that robotic cop that Titan let loose on the Copperhead Road district," Two-Brains said and the X weapon took off just a few seconds before WordGirl landed. Granny May fired off her yarn, but found herself, along with Mr. Big and Dr. Two-Brains, all tied up. She lifted the strange looking contraption that had been putting out the quantum waves into her arms.
"You are going to jail," WordGirl growled.
"You're too late WordGirl, we've sent him on a suicide mission," Two-Brains bragged.
"Suicide mission!" WordGirl shouted and took off yet again.

"I've got to go after him. That cyborg may be good at shooting it out with those thugs in the Copperhead Road district, but if the X weapon attacks it'll kill him," WordGirl said as she deposited the machine in the lab.
"I'll try my best to figure out a way to bring him out of this," Tubing said and WordGirl launched off again.

The X weapon brought his foot down upon the head of the cyborg. The cyborg raised his weapon and started shooting. The X weapon dodged and tried to kick the gun out of the cybernetic cop's hand.
"Stop!" WordGirl shouted. "He's under mind control. Don't kill him!"
The cyborg didn't seem to comprehend as it continued to fire off, bullets raining out in an attempt to take out the X weapon.
"Calceon!" she shouted, trying to get the X weapon to respond. Then the cyborg got in a shot, hitting him in the chest. However, the armor protected him from the bullet.
WordGirl charged, got into his face, and started slapping him in the face.
"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" she shouted on every slap.

"Increasing quantum wave output...now," Tubing said and the device hummed loudly as the quantum wave output rose.

"Wake up!" she shouted and shook him.
"Becky?" the X weapon asked, confused by why he was in the Copperhead Road district.
"Calceon," she said in relief and hugged him. She turned to the cyborg and said, "it's ok, he's back to normal."
The cyborg was about to raise it's weapon but it caught the sound of another gang shoot out. It walked slowly off to deal with the new threat.
"How do you feel?" WordGirl asked, not realizing that the cyborg had just picked up on Calceon calling her by her real name.
"I have a massive...headache," he replied.
"C'mon, let's go back to Tubing's lab."

"Your quantum brain waves aren't at the level they should be...this might hurt..." the professor said and increased the output once again to the quantum wave device.
"Shit!" Calceon shouted. He was in pain for several minutes until Tubing shut the machine down.
"Well?" WordGirl asked.
"Quantum brain wave activity...normal, but I suggest that you come in so I can check your levels once a week for a little while," professor Tubing said.."
"I'm not going to disagree with that," Calceon said and got off the
metal table he was laying on. "I'll also will take a long bath in some X weapon DNA"
"Bend this please," Tubing requested, handing over a bar of metal. The X weapon bent it with ease. He then had to catch an attack from WordGirl.
"He's fine," WordGirl informed.
"You bet princess," the X weapon said with a grin.
"Now I know you are fine," WordGirl said in exasperation.

"Are you serious?" the CEO asked.
"Yes. Apparently, when the X weapon came out of whatever mind control he was under, he said WordGirl's real name," the VP said.
"Well, we find this 'Becky' and blackmail her to help us change this city into what we want," the CEO said with a grin.

Tobey rubbed at his eyes. He had been going through more data than he thought a company should ever have. He then saw something, read it a second and third time.
'So, that's their game. They want to turn the copperhead Road district into some sort of privatized district, throw out all who live there, and make billions on charging rent to those that would want to move into a beautiful new district,' Tobey thought sarcastically. 'I'm getting close...Titan, I'm going to take you out.'

The X weapon climbed into the tank and relaxed. His head was still throbbing,, but it was starting to go away. Before he fell asleep, his eyes widened, realizing that the cyborg probably picked up on him saying Becky's real name while she was WordGirl. He closed his eyes, feeling a pain in his chest. Had he made another mistake?
