The plan

Silver Fox Rose you are the best!! *hugs* I am so happy to have you as a reviewer. You give me self-confidence and ideas. I heard somewhere that fanfiction was made by two things, the writter, and the reviewer. It's so true!! I love all of you for reviewing!!! Rinflowers? I'm so happy your continuing to read my story. I'm so happy that it got so many reviews. My goal was ten and now I'm over by one!! I'm so happy I could seriously cry. Oh and Jordan? Thanks for the last review. It helped a lot. I'm sorry again that the last chapter moved so fast. It was like... three in the morning and I was in a hurry to GET TO SLEEP! But I think it all worked out. I'm hoping to make this next chapter longer. This is my first multi- chapter fanfic so be patient. Well that's enough of my babble. On the the fic!!!

Head swimming, Zim didn't even realize that Dib was leading him to his room. They began to climb the stairs and Zim's feet moved machanicly, not realizing that this wasn't his own house. In Zim's house there were thirty steps. In Dib's.... there was thirty one. At the last step, Zim tripped, just as he had the day before. But this time the force was so great it knocked them both to the floor, Zim landing on top of Dib in a very embarresing position.

With a slight struggle, Dib pulled himself out from under the Irken, not noticing as Zim let out a small gasp at the contact. "Klutx." He muttered idly, helping Zim to his feet.

Zim's eyes were glazed. When Dib had rubbed against him, static seemed to fill his every nerve, setting his senses on fire. He got to his feet shakily. "Your house is different than my base." He said shortly, his body slowly returning to normal. How did this human send his heart racing at a simple touch? Any other full-trained Irken wouldn't notice such things. Even he shouldn't be noticing every time they brushed against each other.

Dib glared "Your welcome." He growled angrily. Zim noticed that he seemed flustered.... maybe by what he had said before? Yes that was it. He had obviously had some sort of moment and said something that he didn't mean. Zim flicked his anteanna. All this that he was doing, was to gain information.... maybe information about what pleasured Irkens? Yes that was it. It was all for science. None of it had anything to do with feelings. Such inferior humans didn't have feelings. They were barley sentiant beings. There was no way they could know something as deep as love.

Zim was lead to Dib's room where Dib deposited him roughly on the bed. Zim growled at being treated like this and had to remind himself that he was the human's slave and that the tallests had abandoned him. That calmed him down, his slender anteanna drooping. A hand waved in front of his face made him realize that Dib had been talking to him.

"I wasn't listening." He said angrily. "Repeat." A hand raised agressivly and he closed his eyes, bracing for the pain that was sure to follow. He opened his eyes just in time to see that hand drop in a movement of self-control.

"As I was saying." Dib hissed. "From the mistakes that humans make, I hope to use some of their better ideas for domination and come up with a plan for taking over the Irken empire. We humans, I realized, have been going about it all wrong. From what I know of you Irkens, your system of government is very weak. If we get to the tallests and end their rule, they would be only too glad for another to take their place." Zim's mouth opened like a human fish's. For a moment he just looked at Dib, gaping then he shook his head, as if not even believing that Dib was considering this.

"Listen human." He said, adding a sneer to the last word. "The massive is an indestructable, well armored ship. Also, the tallests are the smartests beings in the entire Irken empire. There is nothing they cannot do. Your plan is, in all aspects of the word, stupid."

Dib rubbed his temples. "Look Zim." He said angrily. "You've probably had that drilled into you since you were a kid. Look at it from someone elses point of view for a sec. When you were in Foodcourtia, I talked with the tallests and they didn't seem too bright. If anything they seemed really stupid. I mean all they care about is snacks for crying out loud! What have they done that's so amazing?"

Zim glared at the human, his blood racing. "Red and Purple are the finest leaders that we have ever had! They thought of impending doom 1 and impending doom 2. There is no way you can compeat with such brilliance."

Dib glared right back, his gaze unwavering. "Yes but did they really do anything else? They may have thought of it, but I'll bet you anything that it was other Irkens that actually figured out how to do it. Think of all the ideas you've had and think about what would happen if you had the right power behind them." Dib stepped closer to Zim, eyes shining. "Zim all your ideas were great. If you had the right technology and resources you would have taken over this world already. Just think about it. What if you had the same power the tallests had?"

Even though Zim was outraged at even speaking of this, his mind grasped a bit of what Dib was saying. If he had the right machinery. The right power. He could.... He shook his head. "Silence fool. You don't know of what you speak. You understand nothing!" But his voice wasn't so confident and he had a slightly confused look in his eyes. All his life he had thought of the tallests as something of legend. Things that were powerful and dangerous. Things that were all mighty. Now this stupid human was making him have doubts. Hatred burned in his eyes and he looked at Dib.

"I hate you Dib." He said angrily. "I hate you so much."

Unfazed, Dib nodded. "I know you do." He fondly tweaked one of Zim's antenna. "I know you do." Retreating and clapping his hands together, changing the subject he looked around. "You need somewhere to sleep..... I have extra blankets but I think the only place that's really open is the floor." He looked at the handcuffs around Zim's wrists. "Those need to go too." He thought for a minute, then snapped his fingers, gliding across the room to his desk. He fumbled around in the drawers for a second before finiding what he had been looking for.

He held out his hand. In it was two small glowing bands. Before Zim could blink, Dib had snapped off the handcuffs. Energy raced through Zim, making him momentatilly dizzy. In that time, Dib snapped one of the glowing bands around Zim's wrist. The band glowed brighter for a minute, then shrunk, fitting loosly around Zim's wrist and the glow disappearing. The only band, Dib snapped around his own wrist, the same thing happening to his band.

Zim looked at the band, and touched it lightly. It hung loosly... so loosly that Zim gave Dib a confused look and tried to slide it off. He couldn't do it. The closer it came to coming off, the smaller it grew, cutting into his wrist almost painfully. He retreated his hand and shook it slightly. the band slid down his wrist, loose again. he glared up at Dib. "What is this?" He demanded, angry that he was so impressed with the small piece of technology.

Dib chuckled at him slightly. "It's something I made. Basicly it lets be know where you are, what your doing, and it also let's me talk to you if I want." He grinned. "oh and it's got about a million volts of electricity stored in it that I can release at any moment. It also reacharges the volts at any given interval."

Zim stared as Dib shot a grin at him and walked over to the door. He made to follow but Dib shook his head. "No. I'm going out to a convention. It would be better if you weren't there. I'll get your PAK and Gir on the way home.... get some spare blankets and make yourself a bed. But don't let Gaz or dad see you." Before Zim could protest, he was gone, leaving the Irken shaking with the fury at being left behind.

Alright I know the bracelet things were a little stupid but hey give me a little break here. You know I love you. Anyhow I'm sorry this chapter was short (Again) I'm hoping to have longer ones but I've realized I don't have the atention span for them. I need suggestions. Not very many and I may not use them, but I'm having a major writters block. What happens now? If I use your ideas I'll be sure to dedicate the chapter I use it in to you (and anyone else's ideas I use)
