Chapter 6
more fun...? yes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sokka strode back and fourth occasionally kicking a stone out of his path, Aang sat in dismay giving off a face which was blank shown no hints of anything. As if the avatar was lost. Sokka gave a sigh and with out warning he gave the avatar a glare determined Aang would flinch, "Damn it Aang...why the hell did you do that?!" He shouted giving a bit of tension in his voice. Aang stared back blankly his eyes seemed in a darker shade of grey, but in the outcome of sokka's attempt made his lip curled in a smile.
aggravated Sokka seemed to upset to continue and sat down with a scowl mounted on his face. Aang's eyes slid with Sokkas movement, his feelings where expressed as an oddity. "Aang...why? hell! you almost could of been killed there where about 50 or so soilders. Damn Aang you are the avatar ...and your killing?! " sokkas voice wrose and fell as his anger flared.
Suddenly Aang made a wry appeal on his face showing a very dark side of the avatar.....was it murderous thoughts? as if in a blink of an eye he changed as a tear dripped from the Avatars face, but his expression remained untouched.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aangs POV
Anger and sadness bit me in the throat trying to escape me. Something inside felt myself scream I felt pain for being a murder to innocent soldiers, the firenation would boggle my mind what was their intentions for war...besides thriving for more power? I was very reluctant to these questions which put me in deep confusion. I was a murder.....No! My thoughts kicked me, my stomach churned slightly what sickening thoughts....
But to think all the lives spent, destroyed and gone.
I placed a single finger on my cheek, something felt firey engulf my hand. This was the feeling of sadness, and I was showing it off to everyone. One tear says so many things.
Katara will hate me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Katara's soft voice intruppted the night sielince as she gave off a plea for food and water. Right away Aang came back relizing he had important duties to tend to and his eyes partly red from some left of of tears. Other then that he acted like nothing had happend and stood up ignoring sokka who sneered at the young avatar.
As Soon as he stood up sokkas warrior insticts took over and his arm shot off to grab the airbender by the scruff of his shirt. Sokka abruptly made the avatar face him by swivling him around to meet up face to face, "Damn monk! Aang killing is NO GAME!" Sokka said sprying spittle onto Aang. Aang stared back coldy, no signs of shock ran through his face "Sokka if I didn't do what i had done more innocent people would die! there is a war..." Sokka didn't seemed moved at all by Aangs plea but instead he softly pushed him away. Sokka knew Aang was true in some ways, firebenders where his enimies no doubt, and Aang was trying to protect them.
As soon as sokka desided to lighten up a bit on the burden he had tossed onto the avatar he turned around to see what? nothing there but a slight stir of wind. Sokka sworen he had seen a quick last glance of Aangs grey eyes full of sarrow. The avatar was about and he was hurt.
Sokka smirked and slightly embraced himself...he would be back...would he?
