The X weapon growled, hearing the rain pounding on the roof of his ship. He pressed a few buttons and a rain coat appeared over his human clothes. He stepped out into the monsoon that was taking place. A flash of lightning lit up the darkened morning sky. He bit his lip.
"So, the energy monster wants a morning snack...I better go lure him away from the city," he said to himself and changed into his battle costume and took to the skies.

"That's right, this way!" the X weapon called out as he darted in and out of the monsters's range. This angered the energy absorber and he tried a more violent attack, but the X weapon moved out of the way.
Coming to the shoreline, the X weapon pressed a button on his wrist device, "Computer, hyper-sonic sound wave signal!" he called out. The high frequency sound waves were inaudible by normal ears. Even the X weapon's ears couldn't hear the sound. The energy monster roared in fury, his hearing picking up the sound.
"That wasn't for you," the X weapon said with a smirk. Out in the water, something was disturbing the surface. A green head popped out of the water. The energy monster roared out in anger and attack the giant lizard before it had a chance to get out of the water.
However, the lizard made it to shore and the two monsters started up their fight again. The lizard's teeth bit into the energy monster, making it howl in pain. Knowing it couldn't win, the energy monster shrank back down and retreated.
"Computer, again, target the sound out into deep water!" the X weapon called and the giant lizard heard the sound again and dove back into the water.

"Have you seen Becky?" Violet asked Tim the moment he came into the school.
"What? She isn't here yet?" Tim asked.
"No, and it isn't like her to be late," Violet retorted. Tim tapped his rain booted foot. He was tempted to fly off for her home, but the bell rang. Knowing he ought not to be conscious by his absence, he went on to class.

He was in a rush. He wasn't too worried about Becky, but the only reason that everyone kept giving him a reason for her not being at school was that she was probably sick.
"If you were her boyfriend, why didn't you know she was sick?"
"Don't start with me, Scoops," Tim growled as he finished packing Becky's books as well as his own. He had made sure to get the work she'd missed today.
"I ask again, if you care for her..." Scoops began but was pressed up against a locker.
"Shut up," he growled out. "I can't be around her constantly because her father doesn't like me still, so I can't beat her home as much as I want to," he shoved Scoops aside and headed on out.

He came in through the window. He walked over to her sleeping form and felt her forehead. He pulled his hand back, she was burning up!
"Computer, lexinite scan please," he requested.
"Negative signs of lexinite," the computer reported and Calceon sighed in relief. The villains hadn't developed a new lexinite weapon, but he knew it was coming.
"Calceon?" her soft voice came out.
"Hey, bed ridden I see," he lightly teased.
"How come you're not afraid of catching..."
"Do you think they would let me go without testing this planet's viruses against the X weapon code?" he said and grabbed the aspirin bottle. She was given two pills and a small cup of water to wash them down.
"The bottle of green stuff," Becky quietly said.
"green..." he said and saw the bottle in question. Once he had given her a dose, she was instantly asleep. The door opened and Tim Botsford and Calceon stared each other down.
Coming to some sort of silent agreement, the pair left the sleeping form of Becky and went downstairs.

"You can't take care of her! you have no true feelings for her!"
"Her illness came on suddenly! I didn't know she was sick until I got to school!"
"Why didn't you come here and see if she were going to school or not?!"
"Well excuse me for dealing with the fucking energy monster!"
"And that's another thing! I will not tolerate such fowl language in my house!"
"Fine! You wont!" Calceon replied and stormed out the front door. TJ, who had been watching the whole thing, bit his lip. He wasn't going to say anything. Even if his dad was being unreasonable, he wasn't going to point that out at the moment. However, when his mother got home from work, he let her know.

"Is it worth all this grief?"
Calceon looked into Caelum's eyes. "What are you getting at?"
"You were never supposed to have these feelings."
"Don't you think I don't know that>?!"
"You are a killer. Eventually, your true nature will force you to kill these villains. Your true place is within the Decimalian military.
"What Decimalian military!? Calisto has enslaved our world!"
"You were never meant to reproduce with a life partner. They didn't want you doing that."
"And what am i supposed to do? I'm attached to her."
"You can't tame your nature. You will want to kill again."
"And I ask again, what the fuck am I supposed to do about that?"
"You can't continue to be her partner like you are. I say we go and start resistance groups on both Lexicon and Decimal."
"Do you actually think they want to overthrow their own queen?"
"They have been those that don't want to have Calisto rule the entire galaxy. They know how crazy she is."
"And why would Lexiconians and Decimalians work together?"
"You and I both know that are DNA is so similar that it has been said that we are twin worlds."
"So?"
"It's getting about time for the war to end. Just think about it," Caelum said and walked away.

"Are you trying to drive him away?" Sally asked her husband.
"Yes. He is nothing but a killer, Sally."
"Our daughter..."
"Our daughter is blinded by love."
"Why are you being so overprotective now?"
"Because, she's gotten hurt several times while she's been WordGirl and he is less than useless in helping her!"
Sally sighed. Her husband had been effected by last time those two gunman had come into the hospital and started shooting. He just couldn't understand.

Calisto smiled at the vile in her hands. It was the X weapon serum. This would put an end to her niece and her consort.
"I want this tested on Lexiconian DNA. I want it to be able to merge with my DNA," Calisto ordered. Most in the room paled. If the X weapon serum was altered for Lexiconian DNA, Calisto would become unstoppable.
