She stared out the window, thinking about the recent events that had taken place. She was thinking hard about her relationship with that X weapon that was still resting in his tank. She knew that he didn't make the best partner. He was more violent, a little too eager to get into a fight, and had the worst vocabulary she had the displeasure of hearing.
However, she still stuck with him and let him come to every crime scene she flew off to. The worst thing was that she was sleeping with him and that was extremely enjoyable. He was a soldier though, someone that killed to get the job done. Her recent capture had brought that into the brightest light possible. If she were captured again, or worse, injured mortally by the lexinite that Mr. Big had somehow found again, that X weapon would spill more blood in this city than had ever been spilt.
She then thought about the definition of the word 'weapon'. The more she thought about it, the more she began to realize that he really was a living weapon.
'Any weapon, used correctly, can either kill, or disable an opponent. Calceon can do both, but if he's enraged, he'll kill. Or, if he is ordered to, he will kill if he feels that the situation warrants it. He's the weapon and I'm the...' she gasped, the realization hitting her finally.
"He's the weapon and I'm the hero," she said out loud, catching the attention of Huggy. "I haven't been taking my relationship with him, profession and personal, in such a way as to see him as a weapon. he might be an individual, but his people have treated like a weapon for so long that he doesn't know another way. I've got to take care of my weapon so he can take care of me. I've got to let him use his blunt end to fight, and teach him to use the sharp edge when he has absolutely no choice."
Huggy smiled at the sword analogy his charge had been using to describe the X weapon. It fit Calceon perfectly.
Becky sighed, "But there's still the problem of my aunt. She's not going to just go away if she's just beaten. She wants me dead." Becky felt a little ill, having said that thought out loud. She knew that Calisto wanted her dead, but she hadn't truly accepted that fact until now.
"She's family...why do I have to kill her? She's the only one that ever knew my Lexiconian mother," she sighed dejectedly. Becky knew that Calisto was a tyrant, and she knew the meaning of that word. If Calisto had both Lexicon and Decimal at her Mersey, then she might get it in her head to take Earth, and Earth didn't have any defenses to use against a space fairing tyrant.

He flexed and stretched. He could feel that the nerve damage that the collar had done was gone. Had he been any lesser of a X weapon, he probably would have had nightmares of that capture for the rest of his life. Fortunately, while that device did introduce him to a new level of pain, and her mental games had been good, his training had been enough to prepare for such a situation. Becky hugged him and he smirked.
"I thought this would have been the part where you kicked my ass," Calceon joked.
"Shut up," she bit back. "Do you realize how much pain I felt because of what happened?"
The X weapon pulled her closer to his body. "I know. I knew that I couldn't do anything to defend myself in a human court for what I did. They would have thrown me into a prison, if they could build one that could hold me, and throw away the key. Then Calisto found me and Caelum and I realized that I might as well save them and maybe escape from Calisto's clutches later."
"You're my weapon, and I've not accepted that on a conscious level. You are a soldier, and a very good lover."
Calceon smirked, but Becky ignored that and continued.
"You've become loyal to me and not to your home world. But, you are still a soldier and you handle life with me as a soldier because that is the only life you've ever known. You only have one true gear when you fight. Oh, you can hold back if I tell you to, but that's because I tell you to, right?"
"Yeah," he admitted, surprised by his lover's insight into his psyche.
"I need to treat you as my lover when we aren't wearing our costumes, but I've got to remember, when you're wearing that armor that you are a soldier that only knows to follow orders and kill to get the job done."
"I knew there was a reason I liked you beside your body," he said and her went around and smacked him on the ass and she handed him his changer.
"Get some clothes on, you," she growled.

Scoops's eyes widened, seeing Tim, no, that X weapon coming through the doors of the school. He saw that Becky had a restraining hand on his shoulder, but it seemed to be barely working.
"Ming," Calceon growled and stalked the reporter.
"Take it easy, he's just a scared reporter, a scared, stupid reporter," Becky said calmingly.
"Yeah...hey!" Scoops shouted, realizing that Becky had insulted him.
"You want to get in between me and Becky? you want to ruin something that you have no business in ruining? Why don't you step up, be a male, and face me for her then?" he challenged. Scoops started sweating. He couldn't throw a decent enough of a punch if his life depended upon it. Oh sure, Scoops could take out Tobey, but that was because Tobey was more of a wimp than he was.
"Well now, it appears he's challenged you to a fight. Are you going to pick up that gauntlet that this calculator has thrown down, or are you going to run away?" Tobey asked.
"Hey, aren't you worried that he's two timing with WordGirl with Becky?" Scoops fired back.
"Oh Scoops, you live in ignorance. I pity you, I really do. My feelings for WordGirl, past or present, have nothing to do with this. You are getting between these two and Tim doesn't like it," Tobey remarked and Violet smiled from behind him.
"Ignorance? What does that mean?" Scoops asked, confused.
"Silly reporter, now why should I be the one to bring you out of ignorance? Besides, you are so eager to run to the paper with any piece of knowledge that you find out about him," Tobey said, gesturing to the X weapon.
"But you don't know who he is, he's that X weapon!" Scoops shouted, but fortunately, they were the only students to hear such a declaration.
"Oh please, do you not think I don't know that?"
"What? you knew! How?"
"I don't reveal my sources," Tobey mocked. Scoops lowered his head and walked off. For now, he was defeated utterly, and there wasn't a thing he could do about it, for now.
"You are changing him," Becky commented to Violet.
"You just have to know how to train them is all," Violet said with a smile.
"I'm beginning to agree with that," Becky said and got the same smile on her face. Tobey felt ice go up his spine, but the X weapon rolled his eyes. He wasn't going to be trained to be as submissive as Tobey was getting trained to be.
