"I'm going to have to ad rocket thrusters to these things when we get out." Arrianna comments. The two were in a holding cell. Carina was chained to the wall with the high gravity chains. "While I appreciate your flight help, people might get the idea that we...," she continues and Carina laughs. "I knew that would snap you out of your...," Arrianna says but the door opens. the figure stands in bright light, obscuring his identity.
"Enjoying your accommodations?" the figure asks.
"You're responsible I take it?" Arrianna says glaring at their captor.
"Correct. I hope you enjoy your stay here, but don't worry, your parents will come and I shall get my revenge." he states and and shuts the door laughing.
"He reminds me of your father." Carina comments.
"No, he's nothing like...," Arrianna begins, but she remembers the stories her mother told about her father's darker days.
"In fact, he sounds like an older version of Tobey." Carina adds. Arrianna's eyes widen, could they have been put into a trap by her own grandfather? Her grandmother never spoke of him, but he had to be alive right? She frantically goes back to the blanket that was hiding her equipment.
"I've got to get these things working again." Arrianna states determined.
"Uh,"
"I've got a bad feeling that we're dealing with family."
"What do you mean?" Carina asks, but Arrianna doesn't hear her.
'Father, don't let them come! I know you want to save us, but don't come running!' Arrianna frantically thinks. She knew that the moment their capture got to the ears of their folks they would come running. Whatever that man had planned, it was going to end well.

"Oh man," Caelum says collapsing on the couch. "That was fun." he comments sarcastically.
"Well, I think we've got some of our answers. Someone has brought out the big guns to get rid of us." Becky states.
"To top it all off we haven't heard from the girls in a week." Tim adds and Caelum scowls. Huggy comes running into the room and hands Becky a message pad. Becky presses the button and reads. The look on her face told the rest of the team something was wrong.
"Tim, call Tobey and Violet. Tell them to meet us at Tubing's lab. We've got a problem." Becky states and Tim gets to it.
"What's wrong?" Emma asks.
"They've been captured by the one running this damned marry-go-round." Becky growls. Caelum smirks to himself. Becky only lost control either during sex or when she was extremely pissed.

"This is no fun. I could feed myself if they wouldn't chain me to the wall." Carina complains.
"Yes, but you would be able to escape if they did that. We're not dealing with the normal villain here. They want revenge for some reason. Carina, I think you were right."
"What do you mean?"
"That man did sound like an older, darker version of my father. I think he's my grandfather."
"Your grandfather...!" she shouts but Arrianna puts her mouth over Carina's.
"Yes. Grandmother never spoke of him and my father has tried to find out about him for years, but has been unsuccessful."
"So...,what does that...,"
"It's our parents he wants...,specifically mine. I think my grandfather wants to get back at my grandmother."
"Why would this involve my parents then?"
"That I've not figured out, but my grandfather isn't the one pulling the strings here. He's come up with a brilliant plan, but he couldn't possible run such a vast network of thugs."
"Someone else then?"
"Yes, someone that wants both Mr. Big's ring under his control and Team Alphanumeric out of the way." Arrianna finishes eating the last bit of food. she goes back to her equipment and continues to work on it.
"What about these chains?"
"I can't do anything about them until I fix my gloves. I'll have to rip that chain from the wall and I'm not strong enough to do that."

"You've got to be kidding me! We're going to Mars, Right!?" Tobey fumes.
"Yes, but the problem is that we can't leave the city defenseless." Becky states.
"I believe that your robotic duplicates can handle it." Tubing states.
"Can they take the pounding of those energy weapons?" Tim asks.
"I've been adding that reflective metal to their outer structures. I doubt our new foes have enough fire power to do damage to that." Tubing explains.
"I shall stay and use the WarGirl suit as well." Tracie states.
"Can you and your suit handle that much heavy fighting?" Tobey asks.
"Of course." Tracie states.
"I'm going as well." Violet states in a tone that said that she wasn't going to be convinced otherwise. Becky sighs. As long as she stayed near Tobey she'd be alright.
"Ok, let's get everything we'll need and board my ship. We'll use it to get to Mars." Becky states.

"You have some thing for me?" the investor asks.
"Team Alphanumeric has left Earth. They're heading your way." the voice on the other end states.
"Is the city defenseless?"
"No. Their robotic duplicates and the WarGirl suit are defending the city. We don't have the fire power to get past that."
"Then let Mr. Big's ring have their fun for now. I must prepare on my end." the investor states and the screen goes dark.

"Good morning you two," the figure says from the lighted doorway.
"There's nothing good about it." Arrianna spits.
"Oh, I just thought you would like to know that the rest of your team will be hear soon."
"What?"
"That's right, and they shall feel death's calling soon." he says and shuts the door.
"Well?" Carina asks. Arrianna says nothing as she goes back to work.
"Just a few more...,got it!"
"What?"
"The gloves are working again, but I can only use them sparing or they will burn my hands off."
"Arrianna?" Carina starts concerned for her friend.
"Don't worry, I'll only use them to free you."
"They took my reflectors."
"I know. That's what has me worried." Arrianna says pulling at the chains.
"Why?"
"They are going to come up with a powerful enough hand weapon to counter those reflectors of your father's. I bet they'll have some nasty for our parents and I don't want to find out.' Arrianna states. She felt the gloves heating up again and turns them off.
"How long?"
"I need fifteen minutes to let my gloves cool every time they overheat. I'll need at least one to two uses to free you fully." Arrianna explains and Carina sighs. This wasn't fun at all.
