Hello everyone!
I am pleased to inform all that this story has been ressurected from the dead thanks, in part, to your comments thus far and thanks in part to the support and inspiration of several friends. They refused to let this story die and I have decided to come back with it and give it another shot.
This note is to inform all of you who read this story, receive alerts about this story, have it bookmarked or whatnot, that the story is now being rewritten. This note will be taken down and reposted as things happen with the story.
For now, however, Chapter One has been fixed and is available to read. It's been reworked to be a bit easier on the eyes and flow better. I admit that it is also 1,000 words heavier but I believe that you will agree with me that the first chapter feels better, looks nicer, and is more enjoyable to read.
