Calisto smirked after landing on he rocky surface of the planet closest to the star that controlled the system of planets in this wretched solar system. A moment later, her niece and her consort landed. She smirked seeing that the X weapon was constantly rubbing at his eyes. With his diminished eyesight, she would have the advantage over them.

"Isn't this a much nicer place to have a battle?" Calisto said with false cheeriness.

"Grrr...the only reason we're fighting on Mercury is because you know that he's eyesight is weaken around a bright yellow star!" WordGirl shouted.

"Yes, plus they never did test you in space now did they?" Calisto taunted the X weapon who growled. WordGirl charged and the two started fighting.

"We are nearing the terran solar system," the navigator reported.

"Slow us to impulse," Caelum ordered and the ship dropped out of transwarp, then slowed out of warp and started flying at impulse power.

"Standard orbit when we reach Earth," Emma ordered.

"Go to stealth mode, I don't want them seeing us," Caelum ordered the tactical officer.

"Sir, I can't find the X weapon," the science officer reported.

What! Make a full sweep of the entire system, now!" Caelum barked.

A moment later, the science officer reported, "Sir, three life forms detected on the first planet."

"That's them. Set course and raise the heat shields," the blond captain ordered.

'This environment...it's too much for me, but they don't seem to be bothered...' Calceon thought watching as aunt and niece fought.

"I see you aren't using your mental powers," Calisto," WordGirl mocked.

"I'd prefer to break your neck with my bare hands. It's more satisfying," Calisto said with a vicious grin.

"I can't believe that my mother lost her throne to such a monster!" WordGirl shouted.

"Do you think it was just a coincidence that you happened to wonder onto Huggy's ship? Huggy was asked by your mother to lure you to the ship and he would take you away! You mother was always had someone trying to assassinate her, so she thought to send her child away in order to keep her safe. That's weakness! If she couldn't protect you herself then she didn't deserve to have one!"

"If you think your words will affect me, you're wrong. I don't remember my Lexiconian family so I can't be hurt by those words."

"Really? Would it be interesting to note that your father wasn't killed by me."

"What?" WordGirl let out in mid strike.

"That's right, your mother's consort was killed, not by me, but by Decimal!"

WordGirl turned to the X weapon who looked shocked as well. He had heard of a plan to kill the consort in order to plant him as her new consort, but after WordGirl's Lexiconian father had been killed, Calisto had overturned the government.

"Why?" she asked him. He looked down at the rocky surface and then looked up back her her.

"I heard of a plan to kill your father so that I would be able to be planted as her consort," he finally answered.
Hot anger towards the Decimalian race flashed through her blood.

"That's right," Calisto encouraged, "let the hatred for Decimalians flow through your veins. Let that hate consume you and kill that X weapon. Take the first step in helping me rid this galaxy of the virus known as Decimalians."

Her body trembled in rage. She turned to Calceon.

"Has what we have been all a lie?" she asked.

"No!" the X weapon shouted now realizing the sick game Calisto was playing.

"Don't lie to me!" she shouted and grabbed by the back of the neck.

"I swear," he said with tears in his eyes, "my feelings for you are genuine...you do know what genuine means right?"

WordGirl bit her lip. She knew what 'genuine' meant, and judging by how her X weapon was responding to all of this emotionally instead of his normal cool joke, he was telling the truth. He didn't let that wall he hid his emotions behind down often, but WordGirl could tell when he was being sincere about his feelings.

Calisto rolled her eyes, rose up off the ground, reached out with her powers, and the X weapon came to her.

"Fine, I guess I'll have to finished you myself. Did they ever test the effects of what might happen to the X weapon genetic code if it were to be plunged into the heart of a star?" Calisto asked and took off for the sun.

"No!" WordGirl shouted and chased after her aunt.

888

"Sir, they are getting dangerously close to the sun!" the science officer said.

"Helm, keep up with them," Caelum barked.

"Aye," the navigator said.

888

"One small kick for me, one giant death for an X weapon!" Calisto said and viciously kicked the X weapon into the sun's corona. WordGirl flew by and Calisto smirked. There would be know way her niece would be able to save him. She pressed a button and vanished in the light of a transporter.

888

"I've lost them!" the transporter operated shouted over the intercom.

"Emma," Caelum growled and she rushed over to a control panel and took control of the transporter. For a few tense moments, the bridge was quiet.

"Got them!" Emma shouted.

"Keep them in transporter stasis, helm, head back for Earth!" Caelum ordered.

888

"There," Caelum said looking at the filled healing tank, "beam them in now, and make sure their clothes are off of them," Caelum ordered.

"Transporter I didn't..." Emma began but Caelum cut her off.

"I had to increase the density of the DNA in order to make sure they survived." Caelum said as the two stared through the blue, opaque liquid.

"Healing cycle, 4 standard Earth solar cycles," the computer reported.

"Is that because of the Lexiconian mixture?" Emma questioned.

"Negative. The amount of radiation absorbed by the subjects is killing them. The healing factor will take time to stop and repair the damage," the computer reported.

"Theorize, will there be a side effect of a Decimalian being plunged into a sun and then healing in the tank?" Caelum asked.

"What the X weapon has gone through was a variable that was never calculated," the computer answered.

"Sir, we've spotted Calisto's ship. She's trying to leave the solar system," the tactical officer said over the com-link.

"Beam us up, we'll go after her and come back here to check up on them," Caelum said and Emma nodded and the two vanished.
