True Seekers 4/4

THIS IS NOT THE END.

There will be a True Seekers Epilogue where Oilslick gets whats coming to him. Kekeke.

This took so long to write because I wanted to rewrite it several times. I SUCK AT FIGHT SCENES. It gets very ADD. ;_;

The next thing I'm working on is the next chapter to Tale of Kaon, and hopefully Sunny's Tale will fall into place after that. Woot!

------------

Thundercracker's statement about Oilslick knowing a lot about Seekers was true. Perhaps it was out of hatred that the twisted medbot studied about them in the past. There was also the possibility it was a scorned passion that lead his quest for knowledge. Either way, it did not matter now. He had obviously made a fatal mistake.

What Oilslick had told the clones about the 'true' Seekers not accepting them had been something he had believed himself. He had started out knowing better about their culture, but over time the lies he was telling the Seeker clones made sense. He had not expected Sunstorm to have a strong connection to any Cybertronian Seekers. On top of that, he had not expected Megatron aligned and Starscream Seekers to work with each other.

Oilslick recognized the frenzy flight patterns of the Seekers pursuing him. He knew he would be slagged if he did not escape quickly. One of the unknown to him Seekers seemed to have an ability to manipulate electricity, causing Slick's com to be useless. He could not even call other Decepticons for help. Though, the flaw in that plan was if Megatron's team would even risk getting involved in a Seeker frenzy.

The mad doctor knew best option would be to get back to base. These were two different factions of Seekers. Despite their working together now, the Megatron Seekers would break from the chase once Slick headed to the base. They would not want to lead the other Seekers to Megatron's hideaway. The only flaw in that plan was outrunning the Seekers in the first place.

The twisted medbot decided the only recourse left was to fight. Running forever was not going to work. He had to fight and do enough damage so he could drive back to the base unhindered by swooping and attacking Seekers. If he was careful he could survive this. He was sure of it. He had enough toxins on him to take out a whole army if necessary.

He turned to bot mode while his wheels were still racing. With the momentum he turned and threw a vial at the center of the frenzy formation. He had hit the white Seeker directly while some of it ricocheted off. The other Seekers pulled away from the formation to prevent the virus from spreading to them. While the younger jets seemed to be pulling back, the green one charged forward.

Acid Storm stayed in his jet form as he released some harsh chemicals as well. He assumed like any good chem warrior, Oilslick would have some immunity to toxins. The green jet turned around to be behind the twisted medbot after the initial attack. Acid's vision double checked for the Autobot he had seen observing the fight earlier. He had made certain his Seeker trine member blocked not only Slick's but that Autobot's com signal. There was no need to bring even more mechs into this fight. He could see the yellow Autobot was a bit bewildered, and probably going to retreat off.

Oilslick quickly turned to face the Seeker. Acid Storm was right in assuming his attack would not do much. Ironically the only thing he knew would take the chem warrior down was the cosmic rust Oilslick himself wielded. Though Acid Storm was in jet mode, it was obvious he was giving the smaller ground bot a glare. It was a rage that could offline a weak willed bot.

The twisted medbot seemed unphased by the jet looming nearby him. Unseen by the Seeker, small blade tips peeked out from the plates between his fingers. In a sharp movement he moved his arm and the small blades fired. Acid Storm took higher to the sky, but one of the blades still hit a rear thruster.

Even if the green Seeker were in bot mode he would not wince at the impact. It did sting, but the attack was not cosmic rust, but a weaker acid. Acid Storm changed to bot mode as he assessed the situation. Why didn't the chemist throw another vial of cosmic rust? Was he out of it? Was there only a certain amount at a time Oilslick could safely carry?

The acidic blade damage smoked but did not seem to concern the green Seeker. He had his own immunities as well. The other Seekers Acid Storm had been commanding seemed to have pulled back with the infected Ramjet. Oilslick watched everything with a curious smirk. He was mildly surprised how he had already broken up the Seeker frenzy. Slick then looked up to Acid Storm and curled two fingers in a taunting 'come here' motion.

Oilslick now knew basic acid did not work on the green Seeker. There was something even better than any toxin. Oilslick observed that Acid Storm was a poor substitute for an Air Commander. If a Seeker frenzy had no one to truly direct it, it was no threat at all. The twisted medbot kept his smirk as Acid Storm dove down to his level. Oilslick's posture gave away that he did not find the Seekers a threat anymore.

This only angered Acid Storm more as he lunged forward to engage in a physical attack. Oilslick was about to comment on how stupid the weaponless attack was. A thick smoke then clouded the area as Storm his Slick with a resounding crack. The twisted medbot then said nothing as his bladed fingers tore into one of the green Seeker's wings. His other hand nonchalantly threw another vial over his shoulder onto the neon yellow Seeker sneaking up on him. Acid Storm paused his hitting to make sure the last toxin thrown was not cosmic rust. It wasn't, but Oilslick took advantage of the situation to kick Acid Storm off him.

He knew there was at least three Cybertronian Seekers attacking him now. There wasn't any type of organization to the attacks. Oilslick didn't even use any toxins or viruses to avoid the larger Seekers' moves. He knew one was already crippled by a toxin attack. The light blue Seeker tore his claws into Slick's shoulder. The twisted medic replied by firing more poisoned blades in his suspected direction. Acid Storm return with throwing some toxin pellets in the wound his trine mate created. They went off with a hiss, taking out some thin wires in Oilslick's shoulder.

"Clever," Oilslick moved the arm on the now damaged shoulder. His fingers could barely curl or clasp. It was his throwing arm the Seeker's had damaged, "But not good enough."

He slammed a kick at Acid Storm again. The force did not knock the larger Seeker back, but that had not been Oilslick's intent. The cosmic rust in his foot barrel spread on Acid Storm at an alarming rate. It seemed he was saving the strongest batch for last. The smoke was clearing some as the light blue Seeker jumped Oilslick from behind. The neon yellow one was in pain from the previous chemical attack but still stood, barely, like the Seeker was waiting to get a hit on Oilslick before he collapsed.

Acid Storm was frantically getting his cure for cosmic rust out. It was a matter of moments before he wouldn't have the mobility to administer the cure. He reached in multiple compartments on his chassis for vials. He had to act quickly while Slick was busy with his trine mates. The next time Acid Storm looked up he already saw the light blue Seeker wrapped up in Slick's chains. The neon yellow Seeker then let out an power attack.

"Slag it!" was the only thing Acid Storm had a chance to yell before the yellow Seeker started his electricity blast. Oilslick put up an energy shield and smirked like this was his plan all along. Electricity and the surrounding toxins in the air were not a good combination. The bright flash caused by chemical reaction blinded all three trine members temporarily.

"Fool," Oilslick could be heard saying while close up to Acid Storm's audio receivers, "I don't claim to know anything about Decepticon politics, but it seems your Seeker frenzy dispersed. It takes more than one sub-par trine to take me down. And you're supposed to be the current Air Commander? Laughable."

Acid Storm's joints should have been too stiff to move by now. Much to Slick's surprise, the green Seeker raised up a hand and clenched it on the chem warrior's neck. His red optics glared at Oilslick as he hoped some of the cosmic rusted got on him. Oilslick used his good hand to pry Acid's servo off his neck.

"Nice try, but it is not that easy to-" Oilslick started to taunt more but was interrupted by a blow to the side of his chassis. Another Seeker had swooped down and literally crashed into his side. It caused Slick topple over away from the green Seeker. He stabilized and got up quickly to face his attacker.

"I seem to have overheard a need for an Air Commander," Starscream smirked down at Oilslick. At first Slick showed no concern at all. From his knowledge Cybertronian Seekers that followed Megatron had excommunicated Starscream from their numbers. There was no way they would listen to their former Commander. Oilslick was right for the most part, but what the twisted medbot had taught the clones was unforgivable. Only the Seeker alliance mattered now.

Oilslick pulled out his other cyber ninja chain weapon and waited for Starscream to attack. The Seeker did not move though, but just smirked. His optics looked directly at Slick as he spoke in what sounded like archaic Cybertronian. Oilslick however, did know the basics of the ancient language, yet he could not understand a word Starscream was saying. He realized though the Air commander's optics were on him, he was not speaking to him. He was giving orders to the Cybertronian Seekers around him.

The twisted medbot took it as a sign to start fleeing from the Seekers again. He saw a red and a neon yellow jet raise into the sky behind Scream before changing into bike mode. He raced into the narrow alleyways between abandoned train cars. The large Seeker jets would not be able to dive down on him while he was there. Oilslick went through his processor database of old Cybertronian languages. The front tire of his motorcycle mode wobbled, it being effected by the damage to his arm. However, he still analyzed the data like the science bot he was.

The frenzy formation formed again. Thundercracker was the only clone that was quick to follow Starscream. He seemed to understand what the AIr Commander was saying as much as the Cybertronian Seekers did. In A few clicks the other clones minus Skywarp followed. Oilslick noted the missing purple Seeker and started to drive in the direction he had left him.

Starscream was the first to turn back into bot mode to pursue Oilslick lower. He knew what Oilslick was planning, since he did know Skywarp's last location. Skywarp just stood at the train car hideway where he had been told by Sunstorm and then Starscream to stay put at.

"WARP! Get out of there NOW!" Starscream yelled over their communicators. Even before Scream could finish his sentence a grappling hook fired from Oilslick's motorcycle mode. It struck right below his spark chamber, causing the bottom corner of Skywarp's cockpit to crack. The purple Seeker let out at yelp as the hook went clean through his middle. Oilslick then turned to bot mode with this chain weapon in his still strong hand. The end of it had the grabble hook that was now in the purple Seeker.

With a hard yank Oilslick pulled Skywarp towards him. His arm with is useless hand then wrapped around the meek Seeker's waist to hold him close. A few other Seekers changed to bot mode but stayed in the air as Starscream approuched the ground mech.

"You seem to want this situation to go from bad to worst," Starscream said as he casually walked towards OIlslick. The twisted medbot pulled the purple Seeker closer. The talons of his good hand ran across the glass of Skywarp's cockpit.

"Skywarp. You better teleport us to the coordinates I give you or I'll rip out that sparkling with my bare servo," Oilsick said in his usual calm tone despite the Seekers looking down on him. Skywarp winced as the twisted medbot put the palm of his weaker hand up against his neck. The last time Slick put something up there it was to kill his sparkling! Skywarp looked up at Starscream pleading, at a loss of what to do next.

Starscream would have given a nod to Skywarp, to go ahead and teleport as Oilslick said. Instead, something the Air Commander did not expect occurred. He would of been less surprised if Primus himself had freed the purple Seeker.

A blue blur stormed by, knocking Skywarp away from Oilslick. The twisted medbot pulled on the chain to prevent Warp being pulled from him. However, he found the chain to be cut. Skywarp had widened optics, surprised at his own rescue. The small light blue bot that pushed him away from Slick tumbled on top of him as Skywarp fell to his back.

"Hey-sohaveanythingtotellyourfriendlyneighborhoodintelbot?" Blurr said with his face barely an inch away from Sky's. The purple Seeker ahehed, his optics opening wide in shock again as he saw two Cybertronian Seeker's start to come up behind Blurr. The intel bot already seemed to sense this and quickly made his way to race off. Oilslick too made a rush in the opposite direction of the blue racer. One trine lead by a red Seeker pursed Blurr while the rest turned their attention to Oilslick.

"Ohslagohslag! Sorrysorrysorry!" Blurr squeaked, "IknowIshouldn'tofinteruppted! OHSLAGOHSLAGOHSLAG!"

Starscream said something over the com in that old language again. Acid Storm and his trine mates went after to pursue. They didn't question taking orders from the traitor at all. Starscream rose up and started to follow Oilslick, changing back to his jet mode in mid air. The trine that was going after Blurr suddenly peeled away and started to follow their Air Commander. The blue racer was relieved but still ran as fast as possible.

The frenzied Seekers were now all looking to their Air Commander for guidance. Starscream did ponder using this incident to blame it on Megatron. He had more than enough Seekers in this moment to take over as leader of the Decepticons. However, his thirst for power was drowned out by his need to get revenge on the real culprit.

"All you Seekers that consider yourself allied with Megatron , get back to your base before he does. Tell Megatron what happened," Starscream commanded in the ancient Seeker dialect. The Cybertronian Seekers quickly understood him as did Thundercracker.

"But what if Megaton was behind it?" asked Thundercracker. Starscream knew Primus was just testing him now. He looked over to Acid Storm who was checking on his own trine mates. He also gave a quick glance to Skywarp, who had Sunstorm dotting over him and petting his cockpit. The Seeker leader half smiled a moment at the tender scebe before answering TC.

"No, from what Skywarp told me it sounds like he did this on his own. He may be a fool when leading the Decepticons, but he would not allow... this," Starscream faded of a moment. He had not received the full story yet but knew enough from what Skywarp had told him. The Air Commander would have to get every detail later, "Now all you following Megatron, you know who you are... go! And then bring Oilslick back out to our common meeting area. We're going to handle this the old way, and teach the younger ones that they are true Seekers. Bring plenty of energon."

Acid Storm nodded and took to the air. His trine, most the Cybertronian Seekers, and some of Starscream's clones left with him. Oilslick noticed now that the Seekers were not perusing anymore. Last his sensors showed they had stopped around Starscream, and then some of them dispersed. If Oilslick could smirk while in motorcycle mode he would. To his knowledge the Megatron aligned Seekers did not listen to Starscream and parted. And now, the few that stayed with the Air Commander were not following.

Now all there was left was getting to the Decepticon base. The twisted medbot went through plans of what to tell Megatron. His first thought was to tell the Decepticon Leader that all the Seekers had defected back to Starscream. Or perhaps, they just all went mad. Whatever excuse he came up with he was certain Megatron would believe him. THe Decepticon leader himself was always frustrated with the Seekers, even more so in Starscream's absence.

Oilslick changed to bot mode as he was inside the base. He quickly headed to the darkened main room, hoping to find Megatron there. The Decepticon leader was standing inside the doorway of the room when Oilslick entered.

"Megatron, there has been an issue with the Seekers," Oilslick started his story. There was a possiblity the flyers had already called the Decepticon leader and told their side. He had to be careful and fish for what the leader knew first. Instead Megatron seemed to have no interest in talking with the chemist.

"This is an issue that is out of my servos," the Decepticon leader replied darkly. He stepped out the main room door.

"My Lord," Oilslick addressed Megatron like a more devote follower would. He started to follow the leader but the main room doors slide closed in front of them. He went to hit the button to open the door but it only buzzed a denial. As he looked in the metal of the closed door he could see several optics glowing behind him. The red light illuminated their wings. The twisted medbot did not even have the chance to vocalize a curse word.
