"Mr. Drakesford, recite the third stanza please," the English teacher requested. Tim sighed to himself and rose from his desk and walked over to stand in front of the class.
He cleared his throat and recited, "Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them, Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell Rode the six hundred.(1)"
The class applauded Tim's effort. He took a bow and walked back to his desk.
"Excellent work, Mr. Drakesford," the teacher began and the bell rang and the class quickly exited before she could say more or assign them any homework.

"You don't know how wet I am from that," Becky whispered in the X weapon's ear. "Who says Decimalians can't be masters of words?"
"Shall we go to the roof for lunch then?" he asked. Becky was about to reply when her phone vibrated. She checked it and saw that it was a text message from her father.
"Oh my gosh, mom's going into labor," she gasped out.
"Do we...?"
"Yeah, c'mon, let's go," she said and the two headed for the roof. They could fly over to the hospital for the hour of lunch and make it back before anyone noticed their absence.

"Ready?"
"Of course. This will be like shooting fish in a barrel."
"Who knew that we'd be able to escape when Isabella Valentine got loose," t he first gunman joked and the two that had rampaged the city before, laughed. They loaded their new guns and made sure that they had enough ammunition.

On the roof of the hospital, the X weapon and WordGirl landed. Quickly getting inside, they changed back and headed towards the nearest elevator.
"You alright?" Becky asked after pushing the button.
"Hospitals make me nervous. The last time I was in a Decimalian hospital..." he started to say but Becky grabbed him in a tight hug.
"Don't even speak of that," she comforted. She knew that he had been lying there with his higher brain functions rotting away because of his caste's decision to destroy him. The elevator pinged and the door opened and hell once again broke loose.

"Attention students of Woodview High, we are on lock down. There is a situation at the hospital that could spill over to the school. All students stay where you are until the situation is resolved," the principal announced over the intercom.

"We can't fight them in these close quarters with all these people!" the X weapon shouted to WordGirl.
"What do you suggest we do?!" WordGirl shouted back. She then ducked her head lower to avoid a bullet from meeting her skull.
'This would be a lot easier if they had energy weapons. Slugs sting like hell when they bounce off the reflectors.' he thought.

Tim Botsford could hear the shots being fired as his wife continued to try and push their child out of her body. He just hoped that his daughter and her partner could stop them before they got in here.

The gunmen were heading for the double doors of the delivery room. WordGirl knew that her mother and father were in there. She saw red. The next thing the gunmen felt was a sensation of being pulled backwards. They were then both gripped by the backs of their collars by WordGirl. She cracked their skulls together The X weapon's eyes widen. She had used that telekinetic powers that her aunt had developed the last time she had been here.
'It triggers whenever she's mad. I better talk to the monkey about this. She's got to learn to control that or she may kill someone without knowing,' the X weapon thought as the police came to collect the two escaped gunmen.

It was a joyous occasion for the Botsford. Sally Botsford had given birth to a little boy amongst the chaos that was going on outside the delivery room. The parents both hugged their eldest adopted daughter for protecting them from the two gun carrying maniacs. The X weapon, Calceon, stood off to the side and watched the scene. The monkey tugged at his pants leg and he looked down after activating his wrist device.
"It'll be difficult to train her to use those new powers. Her mother didn't even developed those powers. However..."
"Yes?"
"Her grandmother had those powers. I'll have to check the memory banks of the ship's main computer and find where those texts are."
"Need my..."
"No, I cannot allow a Decimalian to see those records under any circumstances."
"Of course, but you better find them before Calisto decides to return. If my people have upgraded their armament with what they've found on..."
"Don't worry, I will."

"Are you sure you're not over planning?" the female twin asked.
"This must be perfect, my daughter. And perfect means that I must make certain that all outcomes are accounted for," Valentine remarked.
"Bah, you better make sure that the association doesn't get in the way," the male twin reminded his mother.
"Ah, the crux of the matter. Yes, but I have full confidence that my cleaning out of the jewelry store won't take so much time that the association will get in the way," she replied to her son. The twins looked at each other wondering if their mother was going to succeed or not.
