The energy monster stood on the shore looking out into the ocean. It new that something was out there and that something was putting out an enormous amount of power. He wanted to consume that energy so that he could beat WordGirl and her partner. Knowing what to do, he let out the universal call that all monsters like himself made when there was another monster in the area. The energy monster smirked knowing that his challenge had been heard and accepted.
It stood there, waiting, until something big and green came out of the salty depths. The energy monster fed off of the nuclear radiation the thing was putting out. However, to the energy monster's shock, the dinosaur shaped creature slowed itself down and seem to stay under the water considering whether or not to come up and fight. The energy monster bellowed and electrified the water. This move only aggravated the monster and the giant reptile came out of the water. The two stood, looking at each other until the energy monster lashed out and the fight began.

"Gaaaahhhhh! Leslie! What is that!" Mr. Big freaked out. Leslie looked out the window that her boss was and saw the energy monster fighting another monster.
"It seems that the energy monster is fighting...well...the only word I've got to describe that is 'Godzilla'(1)."
"Are you serious?"
"He looks like Godzilla, but why would the energy monster..." Leslie said and saw that somehow, the energy monster was feeding off of the attacks the mutant dinosaur was using on it.
"WordGirl and that X weapon better show quick!" Big panicked.

"Why are the air raid sirens blaring?" the X weapon shouted.
"I don't...oh my...look at that!" she called out and the two saw the battle taking place between the two monsters.
"I'm assuming that one of those things is the energy monster you told me about, but who's green and ugly?"
"I don't know. I've never seen him before."
"Computer, analysis," the X weapon ordered.
"The lizard like creature is 320 feet in height, has a weight of 60,000 tons and is putting out radiation equal to that of Earth's nuclear fission plants," the computer reported.
"60,000 tons? Is the energy monster crazy?!" WordGirl shouted.
"The energy monster is feeding off of the lizard monster's power output," the computer reported.
"Ok, so what's the procedure on monster battling?" the X weapon asked.
"This has never happened before. It's like a bad monster movie or something."
"Well? What do we do? Take them both out?"
"Are you kidding? We can't do that, but maybe..." she said and flew off with the X weapon in hot pursuit. Huggy made an indignant sound knowing what his charge was going to try to do.

"Just how close are we planning on getting to that lizard?!" the X weapon shouted.
"I can't communicate with the energy monster, his language is binary, but that lizard, if I can get close enough to him maybe I can get him to change his tactics!" she shouted and the two avoided the lizard's nuclear breath.
"Computer, is the radiation poisonous to Lexiconians and Decimalians?!"
"The X weapon genetic code has already adapted to the radiation. The radiation seems to not be affecting the princess," the computer answered.

"What are they doing?!" Mr. Big asked seeing WordGirl and the X weapon flying over towards the lizard monster.
"I think she thinks that Godzilla might be able to be reasoned with unlike the energy monster."
"He's not Godzilla!"
"Well sir, what else would call a 300 foot tall dinosaur monster?"

"Whoa big boy!" WordGirl shouted coming into eye level with the lizard. "Listen, you're atomic blast isn't working! It's only strengthening him! You've got to find another..." WordGirl was stopped by the energy monster lashing out at her, knocking her away from the lizard creature. The X weapon caught her and glared at the energy devouring monster.
"If you can understand me, green and mean, use striking attacks instead of that breath attack you've got!" the X weapon shouted. The energy monster tried to attack the X weapon, but a clawed hand lashed out and struck the energy monster in the face. angered, the energy monster tried to gouge the lizard's eyes out, but the lizard grabbed the energy monster and through him across the city. The lizard stepped on the throat of the energy monster The energy monster reached up to try and yank the lizard down, but the lizard lifted the energy monster, spun with him, and launched the energy monster into and out of orbit and into deep space.
"Whoa," WordGirl whisper.
"Man, green's got a throw on him. Uh oh, he's getting cranky," the X weapon said seeing that the lizard was looking for something to destroy.
"This way lizard!" WordGirl called out.
"Where are we going to take him?!" the X weapon asked as the lizard followed them out of Preposterocity.
"His home is the ocean, and I doubt the two of us can pick up 60,000 tons of monster. That's right, keep following!" she shouted.

"There, back in the ocean where he belongs," WordGirl said seeing the lizard heading out to see.
"Uh, do you think..."
"You can't keep a good energy monster down. He'll be back."
"And our new lizard problem?"
"Hmmmmm, he isn't all that bad, unless, he's fighting with another monster in a city. I thought I was getting through to him before I was knocked away like a fly by the energy monster."
"Man, and I thought outer space was weird," the X weapon commented and followed his partner back to Preposterocity.

1. Yes, I know, I'm using a monster whose movies were very cheesy, but the monster himself is a bad ass monster.

I've revised the first 34 chapters of this story so they should read better. Also, the Godzilla appearance won't be the only science fiction I'll be borrowing for the plot of the next couple of chapters.
