The Cards of Fate

When Mokuba woke up, he saw he was in a huge ‘rock tent’, and surrounded by people. Unsure of what had happened, he looked at the beautiful girl that had caught him and saved his life earlier.
“What … Where … How …?” Mokuba trailed off, unsure of how to ask what on Earth had happened.
“Who are you, where did you come from, why were you falling from the sky, what was that monster, and why did it take Zuko!?” Demanded a boy dressed in blue, with a ponytail waving around a boomerang threateningly.
“Sokka, calm down. Can’t you see that he is really frightened?” Interjected a short girl who had white eyes. “My name is Toph, what is yours?”
“I’m M- M –Mokuba. Where am I, and how did I get here?”
“We were kind of hoping you could tell us that. What nation are you from? You don’t look like any of the bending nations we know. Is there a fifth?” Asked a boy with an arrow on his head, who evidently had just walked into the tent.
“Aang! Did you find Zuko?” Asked Toph, who evidently knew he was there before he spoke. Somehow, even though she was facing away from him, she could ‘see’ him, or sense him.
“No.” Aang replied. “He seems to have vanished, along with that monster. What was it?” he demanded to Mokuba. “Is it some sort of Fire nation trick? Are you a Fire Nation spy? Are you here to capture us?”
“What is this?” asked the girl that had caught him, holding up Seto’s case. “Don’t touch that!” yelled Mokuba, jumping at the girl.
“Katara!” Aang shouted, and the next thing Mokuba knew, he had been blown backwards by a huge gust of wind. Everyone looked at Aang, who was starting to go into the Avatar mode.
“It’s just Duel Monsters cards.” Whimpered Mokuba. “What are you people. How can you not know about Duel Monsters? How can a blind girl see? And what is happening to him?” Mokuba cried, pointing at Aang.
There was a long pause.
“I guess there is a lot of explaining to do.” Sighed Toph, looking down. “Obviously, you don’t come from around here, do you?”
“I guess not.” Whispered Mokuba
“Okay. Well, in this world, there is this power called bending …”

Sorry the chapters ar so short right now, this is my first fanfic and I'm really trying to make sure it works. As long as the start is right, the rest will follow easily enough.

I do have a plan in mind, but it is kinda vague and any suggestions would be considered. Please, any feedback would be appreciated, whether positive or negative, and I don't mind attacks, as long as they are on my writing and not me of the storyline, and as long as they include advice. Remember, first fanfic!
