Traitor

Shockwave hadn't left Blood-Spill's side since they returned to the Decepticon base with him barely alive. His wounds had been fixed thanks to Hook, but he was still on life support this was day two of his recovery, he hadn't eaten for those two days. He didn't want to be to far away from his bond mate just in case any thing should happen.

He was starting to doze when the door to their medical room opened making him jump, he relaxed when it saw that it was Hook come to check on Blood-Spill vitals.

"How," He cleared his throat. "How is he?" He asked.

"Well, he's doing fine, but he will have to stay on life support until he's fully repaired," Hook said then turned to look at Shockwave. "You need to eat some thing, Shockwave."

"I'm fine, Hook." Shockwave said.

"My aft your fine, go eat some thing, Shockwave. Blood-Spill will be fine, I'll watch over him until you get back." Hook replied putting a comforting hand on Shockwave's right shoulder.

Shockwave wanted to protest but then remembered that the med bay was Hooks domain, he simply nodded, gave one last longing look at his best friend/ bond mate before heading for the door.... When mumbling caught his attention.

".... I'm... sorry.... Please... I'm-I'm so... sorry."

He was instantly at his bond mates side he took Blood-Spill's hand in his own, he nearly winced when his hand was almost crushed by his.

"What happening?" Shockwave asked.

Before Hook could reply the spark monitor started beeping rapidly and Blood-Spill started panting heavily.

"What's happening?" Shockwave nearly screamed.

"He's having an episode, there's nothing I can do but to just let him ride it out." Hook replied looking at strip of paper.

Shockwave jumped when Blood-Spill grabbed his upper arm with his hand and squeezed making him wince, he looked to see that Blood-Spill was looking at him with so much regret and sorrow it nearly broke his spark.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I couldn't save you." Blood-Spill rasped his optics cloudy.

He thinks I'm Moonlight! Shockwave thought his optic wide with shock.

"I'm so so sorry, Moonlight," He repeated with tears in his optics. "Please... forgive me...please."

"He's hallucinating, I'll have to put him under before he hurts himself." Hook said preparing to sedate Blood-Spill. "But you need to humor him and keep him calm."

Shockwave froze for split second before putting letting go of Blood-Spill hand and gently placing it on the side of his face. "There's nothing to forgive... you tired your best.... mom." He nearly choked on the last part.

Blood-Spill's cloudy optics softened then let go of Shockwave's arm and placed it on the side of Shockwave helm. "Thank you baby... you look so much like Barricade... but you have my optics. I'm... sorry that you didn't have the chance to see... him, but Shockwave did the right thing by taking the role and I love him for it."

Hook stuck the needle in Blood-Spill's neck, he was surprised that Blood didn't feel it or flinch for that matter.

Shockwave was deeply touched by his words. "Shockwave was a wonderful dad I'm happy... that he became your bond mate." He did his best not to break down in tears.

Blood-Spill's hand slipped from Shockwave's face as the sedative took effect and his head turned to the side.

Shockwave stood stock still his hand was shaking, he bolted from the room before Hook could say a word.

The second Shockwave hit the balcony out side his fell to his hands and knees he let out a choked sob. That had been the most spark wrenching thing he had ever seen, after being apart of that he didn't think that Blood-Spill would be able to recovering, through the bond he started to feel the bond becoming weaker with every word he said.

He couldn't lose Blood-Spill, when Moonlight was killed by Ultra Magnus he had pulled Blood-Spill out of his depression. He had returned the favor when Tazerwave betrayed the Decepticons, not only had he prevented Megatron's death but he had also pulled him back together. If he lost Blood-Spill, no one would be there to catch him if he fell.

He and Blood-Spill had been best friends since they were sparklings and that friendship grew as they got older, it only strengthened ten fold when they became bonds mates. It couldn't lose that, he had already lost Tazerwave, he couldn't lose Blood-Spill.

Using the railing to help him stand, he looked up at the stars.

"I don't know if you can hear me, but I need your help. Please... help Blood-Spill. You brought him to me, please don't take him... away from me," Shockwave's voice was raspy. "He's my bond mate and best friend... he's-he's my person. There can't be a Shockwave without a Blood-Spill standing there beside him."

He bowed his head letting out another choked sob before continuing. "Please... help him. I never asked you for anything before, but please do this for me. I can't.... I can't live without him. This is all I ask of you, is to just... save him." Tears ran down his single optic as he spoke.

When he received no answer he tore his gaze away from the sky and wiped away the tears before regaining his composure then entered the base. Sighing he headed toward the Rec. Room but stopped just as he entered the room as a wave of nostalgia hit him. It felt like only yesterday when he heard Moonlights first laugh as a sparkling, then again Blood-Spill had made a total ass of himself trying to make her laugh it worked.

"Shockwave, you ok? You kind of zoned out there for a second." Blitzwing said from the couch.

"Yeah I'm alright. Just worried about Blood-Spill."

"Who isn't worried about him." The triple changer replied.

Rolling his shoulders he headed for the Energon dispenser to get his rations he quickly finished it before heading to the couch. He was half way there when is communicator beeped.

He answered it. "Yes?"

Shockwave this is Hook, get your aft down here now!

Some thing in Hook's voice caused Shockwave to panic and without explaining his actions to Blitzwing or the Decepticons in the room he bolted out of the room and ran like a turbo bat out of hell.

When he burst threw the med bay door's all he could do was stare wide eyed at what he saw....
