Disclaimer: I do not own Gargoyles/Disney related but the original character, Eve Anderson, is from my own mind and is not a character of Disney. I get no pay and am only doing this for fun

chapter 21

They reappear in the solarium, Fox, David, and Alexander staring at them in shock. Owen holds Eve even tighter against him. “I have not time to explain! She needs a doctor right now with rattle snake anti venom!”

David dashes from the room, his phone immediately appearing in his hand. Fox rushes forward, helping him lay her down on the ground. Alexander waves his hand, clothes appearing on Owen as he leans over Eve. He sees the small bite right away on the top of her foot. He grabs the knife he knows Alexander carries on his belt and quickly cuts the bite open. Fox grabs a bowl from a nearby table, handing it to Owen as he begins to sucks the venom from the bite. He spits it out into the bowl, his worry over her limp body increasing as she stays blacked out.

David rushes back in moments later, the company paid paramedics close on his heels. They kneel down next to Owen, putting a tourniquet on Eve’s leg to keep the venom from spreading any faster. They lift her onto a stretcher, racing back out the door as soon as she’s strapped in. Owen tries to follow but David grabs his arm and holds him back.

“Release me this instance or I swear I will not be liable for my actions!” Owen growls at him.

“I will once you’ve gotten a hold of yourself, Old Friend.” David stares him down. “In the state you are in you’ll be more of a hindrance than a help. The hospital already knows what to give her when she gets there and they have it prepared. You’ve pulled as much venom out as possible. Rushing in and making a shambles of the emergency room will not help her now.”

Owen pulls his arm away, sighing in frustration. “If she dies, it’s my fault.”

“No, it’s not.” Fox’s voice hardens. “Eve and I had a long talk before she left. She knew what could happen. The best you can do her now is tell us everything while the doctors do their job.”

He suddenly closes his eyes in frustration. “I will tell you all I know however there is a SD card in her bra that has information I need on it.”

“I’ll have Elise take care of that.” Fox pulls her phone out and turns away to make a quick call.

David steers Owen towards the doors, letting Fox and Alexander trail behind. “Tell me what you do know.”
