Riding (the motorcycle)

"You're... quite the driver, Vaggie!"

Vaggie was making quick work of the bumper-to-bumper traffic. Not excactly fast, but faster than their sorry asses. "The one thing I know how to do..."

"Babe, you know that's not true!" Charlie contended over the rumble of the motor, "You're everything I'll ever need!"

Vaggie dared to look back. There, in a high-end leather jacket, with her platinum hair up in a ponytail, was her world. "I- I'm not even gonna try to top that compliment," Vaggie turned her eyes back to the far less attractice road. "But thanks, hon. You're a dream." The road began to thin as they crossed the line into the Outskirts, where the lower class of sinners lived in a mixture of cobbled-together rowhouses and split-level homes. "Oh, there it is. It's like magic, isn't it? One moment, you're looking at giants, and the next, Boom! Houses." Charlie acted like this was something special.

"Meh. I prefer the giants, honestly. Or, wherever you are."

Charlie ignored her ice-white face blushing and said, "Well, that's.... usually inside one of the giants."

"Ah...shit. Hold on hon, I missed a turn... gotta turn around in this court here." Vaggie stopped for a moment.

"W-wait..." Charlie tapped her driver on the shoulder, waiting eagerly for her grey-faced princess to turn around.

"Hm? What's up, love?"

Charlie didn't respond. She pulled Vaggie's face closer to hers, kissing it softly. They held the kiss, something they hadn't done in the limo. "Mmm... Charlie?" Vaggie pulled away, facing Charlie, but looking down, ashamed, almost.

"Yeah? I-is something wrong? I- I didn't mean to spring that on you, I just–"

"No, no... it's fine. I-"

Silence, and then. "Are you mad at me?"

"Only for making us get home slower. And... for not kissing me sooner." There was that toothy smile that made Charlie's hair stand up. "Good grief, Vaggie, one of these days, you're gonna kill me!"

"Well, if I do, I'll kiss you before you go."

Charlie giggled and rolled her eyes, "That's a relief. Now, what were you saying about getting home?" She kissed Vaggie's forehead.

"Oh- right. Duh. Let's go... there's a lot more of what we had in the back of the limo when we get there..."
